Great quiet park with lots of boulders for kids (and adults) to climb. No play structures or anything like that, but lots of open spaces for playing. If you are affiliated with a bonafied youth group, you can reserve one of the group camping spaces, otherwise it's day use only.

Incredible views of the mountains from throughout the park. Great paved main walking trails and additional dirt trails leading to massive rock formations. Peaceful and quiet. Free parking.

Fantastic camping ground ideal for walks and practicing rock climbing! Dog-friendly and reasonable parking. Paved paths, as well as dirt trails, allow you to choose your hike difficulty! Fifteen minutes away from downtown Santa Barbara a fantastic local gateway!

Vied of Gibraltar Rock. Mission creek flowing through out the year. Bathrooms on site, water, dog walking, BBQ, space available for youth groups to camp.

Good mild workout trail. I would not take my kids but it is doable. Dogs welcome. Still had water.

Nice park in the hills of Santa Barbara. Great for a nice stroll and walk around. Beautiful place to just hang out. Not very heavily populated by any means.

A quite rocky nook with plenty of picnic tables and parking, only 100 yards or so down the road from Rattlesnake canyon trailhead; thus is a great spot to eat lunch either before or after heading out on a hike, or just to enjoy being there next to the small babbling brook.

Nice spot for rockhounding, the creek that runs through here has pyrite.
