I really enjoyed my stay here! The prices are reasonable for a Thursday night stay, especially because of the location. Right on State St., it's very close to shopping centers and convenience stores. The rooms also seemed to be recently renovated. It had a nice Samsung TV mounted to the wall, bathroom was clean, and the bed was super comfy. I was also surprised with the A/C unit they have in the room. It has a remote control and it's super quiet; you can't even hear it! That was also a plus. Didn't have an issue with the staff at all. Checking in and out was a breeze and I would definitely stay here again in the future!

The room prices are reasonable because of the location. Right on State St., it's very close to shopping centers and stores. The room was clean, new Samsung TV mounted to the wall, bathroom was totally OK and the bed was super comfy. Parking place right in front of our room. Nice chilling area with pool. Only bad point is I couldn't pay the deposit with credit card, there was some issue with the card reader unit. I was required to pay the deposit in cash. At least the checkout was really fast & I got the deposit back.

Had a good night sleep here. Room wasn't fancy but it was very nice and very clean. Parking lot is a little small. It's located close to everything you may need from 7-11 ,gas station, Ross, and of course Starbucks 😝 I would definitely stay here again 🌞

This place was awesome! I would say the best thing is the cleaning service they are very diligent and go above and beyond! Rooms are nice. Very central to everything!

Once you reserve the room you can't check out earlier. Say you reserve 4 nights and instead decide to stay 3 nights, you'll still have to pay all 4 nights. And the receptionist said it's the norm and every hotel practice that! He probably thinks that this isy first time visiting Santa Barbara or traveling πŸ™„πŸ™„

Wonderful place to stay. Home away from home. I feel safe there. The front desk is so nice, kind and helpful.

Our room was after renovation. Evrething was good. There was a laminate instead of carpet so everything was clean. The room, bathroom and pool were very clean. They also installed the new, quiet AC/Heat. I would recommend this inn.

It’s basic and a bit dated. It has everything you need, it’s just not flash. Free parking right outside the door and good air conditioning. It’s quite noisy, lots of noise coming from neighbouring units and the street. The bathroom is good, the backlit mirror is wonderful, could use liquid soap and shampoo dispensers attached to the wall in the shower.

This is truly a nice place to stay. Very peaceful, quiet, friendly staff, etc. But most of all it close to most restaurants, food markets, and liquor stores. All within walking distance.

This is an older hotel this has been remodeled. The bathrooms have been upgraded and there is new vinyl flooring "no ugly stinky carpet" throughout the unit. The hotel is small but the layout has a pool and a parking space for each room. There is Coffee mid- morning (07:00hrs) It is pricey, but so is all of Santa Barbara.

Other than a strange placement of the toilet paper 🧻 dispenser in the bathroom, it was perfect. The rooms were nice size, just needs a dresser. The pool is wonderful, no sand option for cooling down. A lovely chill area right outside the room and a comfortable picnic area as well.

Only stayed one night - room was clean, location was good. So as long as you know you're paying for location and the absolute basics for everything else - you're set.

James and Dean were professional, friendly and accommodating. My room was more than adequate with a comfortable bed and roomy bath and shower. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bus stop and park. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Santa Barbara.

Very reasonable price for quality room. Close to several restaurants and bars, the facility is fairly unique looking and has its own sort of charm. Interiors are newly renovated and are very well done. Only negative thing I have to say about it is that the bed was a little bit on the firm side, but that is a personal preference not a problem with the room. Definitely would stay here again.

Nice hotel. No Continental Breakfast=False Advertising. Parents and Kids look forward to this. It's disgusting show up, find out No Continental Breakfast.

Our air conditioner took 8 hours before it started cooling the room. The room is a good size and the bathroom was clean.

Mixed bag. The rooms were clean but the AC was at the corner and did not heat the room properly. Which means not a very good night sleeep. Ample parking, helpful staff. No breakfast. Wifi was a bit patchy.

Very quaint and quiet. Older but nicely furnished with character. Clean. Good reasonable breakfast nearby. Courteous staff. Huge leap above bigbox motels.

I have stayed here multiple times, and I always love it. The staff is friendly, and the price is right for me. Ask for a garden room if they have one available. They also have Wi-Fi and smart televisions with HDMI inputs if you happen to bring your own streaming stick.

Nice old timey motel. This is how I imagine life must have been like in the 70s and 80s. Regular Californians bringing their kids to Santa Barbara to relax and go to the beach. This place feels good. Not fancy, not a chain, not run down. I enjoyed it tremendously. There were many kids here when I visited in the summer. Unfortunately, the internet was horrible. Very spotty in the afternoon and evening when everyone tries to get connected. But I like that too. You don't need internet when you're on vacation, right.

My room was very clean. It was a bit dated but comfortable. The staff while checking in was super friendly. Minutes away from multiple beaches. Great find for a budget hotel.

Great little hotel with friendly staff and delicious coffee. Rooms are modern and very clean, short walk to shops and convenient stores. I highly recommend staying here.

Room and bed was good, parking was a slight hassle as we had to wait for anothee patron to leave for us to find a spot. Thin walls so you will hear the traffic and other patrons quite well. Overall good value for money.

Very nice motel, good service, nice owner. The place looks attractive with its colors, pool and flowers. Small shopping center at the other side of the road. Only parking space is limited.

The area is quaint and quiet, the hotel staff are polite, and the rooms are homely. The WiFi can be slow at times, however, it’s a peaceful place to stay. It’s also across the street to many cafes that are appetizing.

Location is not great, too far from the action and the ocean. Clean room. Smelled heavily of disinfectant. Not very friendly front desk when I checked in. (2 males). When i checked out, the female was very nice. It's a bit shabby, and for the price ($290) for a night, it's pretty expensive.

This is a great hotel located between downtown Santa Barbara and Goleta. The staff was great the room was updated and clean the the bed was comfortable. They have a pool area and many places on the property to sit and hang out and relax. Overall a great experience!

Very clean and newly remodeled. The floors were hardwood so it was nice to know how clean they were. The bed was a little hard, and they heater was slightly noisy, but less than a room AC unit. Would definitely stay again

I chose here due to local, price and reviews. Very happy with it all. Room had been upgraded(floor, beds, usb plugs, TV, mini refrigerator, mini microwave, bathroom). Rooms are also smoke free! Room has an AC, but it was only 72 for the high and we just opened the window. Didn't hear anyone from upstairs, but didn't have to ask the college kids next door to turn down the music on a Thursday night. Would have used the pool, but wasn't warm enough outside. Front desk (manager, Didn't get his name) was nice and helpful. Need an extra pillow or a couple of pillow cases and blanket. He was helpful and quick to get them. When back in SB, I'll be staying here again.
