Loved the accommodation, so modern and quirky! Very comfortable bed, amazing bathroom! Also loved the fact that you had your own seating area outside with grill and fairy lights, two bikes to use as well! The only downside was that the gardeners arrived very early and made so much noise blowing leaves and cleaning the spaces that it ruined our few hours before check out. This could have waited until after check out time, or at least 10am. Our morning idea of bacon on the grill outside was ruined by this, let alone any form of lie in.

I am always looking for adventurous accommodations. I am so glad this place popped up in my hotel search! I loved the claw bathtub in this camper. The whole place was kept clean. I highly recommend this place for people who enjoy the outdoors, but still want to stay in the city.

Loved it! The bathroom was nicer than my own, and they really have provided everything you need. The location was also fantastic: close to both downtown SB, grocery stores and the beach. The only downsides for me were 1) our lot did not have it's own proper parking spot so our vehicle needed to be parallel parked into a tight area each evening, and 2) concierge was completely closed on Sunday. Otherwise my friends and I had a blast!

My husband and I stayed for 2 days and found that it was relaxing and enjoyable. The location of the property was strange, but once we were parked it didn't affect us. There are a few things you should know in advance. First, the pics on their website are not accurate. The wooden chairs have been replaced by a patio table with 4 chairs. The reason this would have been nice to know in advance is because we bought a table and chairs to take with us because no where on the site was it mentioned. Also, the fridge is a very small dorm size. We ended up buying an ice chest. Although stocked with eating utensils and place ware, there are no skillets, pots, or cooking sheets to prepare your food with. Shower was great but hot water doesn't last very long. Bed comfortable. Small tv in the bedroom but because of its location, we didn't use it. Spent our time outdoors. Clean inside, but they should probably wash down the outside more often. An umbrella or awning would be great for those times of the day when the sun is at its peak. There is some shade from the trees but how much depends on which unit you have. So, overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back knowing what we now know about how to make our stay a tad bit more comfortable. Hope this info helps someone! Danielle and Ken A.

It's a cute and neat airstream trailer gave us a totally different travel experience. We liked it at first sight. However, there are couple cons made us not so satisfied. First was that the bedding sheet isn't clean enough that makes us sneeze. The bath tub is a bit small and we had to be very careful about not letting water get out during shower. Because of the low temperature (low 40s), we left the loud and annoying heater on all night which was a total nightmare literally. Due to its location on busy streets, it's impractical to ride the bike. During our two days stay, nobody touched any bike even including our neighbors. I would say this autocamp is a great vacation choice if it's closer to beach with places to ride and if the weather is warm and comfy.

AutoCamp is an excellent experience for anyone who's willing to try something outside of the norm - afterall normal is pretty boring. It is a unique way to see Santa Barbara, dip your toes into the camping world and try something new! I loved the ease of check in, how it felt like our own trailer and the privacy we got. The trailers are larger than most hotel rooms and I was very satisfied with the cleanliness. They were bright and airy with all the amenities you'd need or expect. My only wish was that the water pressure was a little better for the shower - but for staying in a trailer that felt this luxurious, I have no grounds to complain. WE rode the beach cruisers and had an absolute ball! The roads are very safe and have designated bike lanes to enjoy the ride - it's only 3 miles/15 minutes to the beach. If you're looking to be slightly more adventurous than everyone else who takes the easy route, try Autocamp! Even if it's not for you in the end, you can't deny that you won't remember the experience for the rest of your life. It's worth it!

TLDR- This is a slightly premium and unique experience which is a step above most hotels, but isn’t quite as luxurious as their advertising makes it seem. We still enjoyed our experience and would recommend trying it out. We stayed here for a few nights around Memorial Day weekend. The location is quite convenient: just a 15 minute bike ride to downtown and just a block away from the bus stop. There are coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores in easy walking distance. It was super nice to cross the street to get some coffee and Handlebar, then to walk to Trader Joes and pick up some food to cook dinner for ourselves that night. The bed was by far more comfortable than any hotel bed I’ve slept in and the internet was far better than any hotel internet I’ve used. The kitchen was stocked with basic cookware, giving us the independence to cook for ourselves. The French press and Handlebar coffee was a step above most hotel coffee (and far beyond any in-room coffee). The door lock was very convenient: we set a code that was easy for us to remember and then we never had to worry about losing a room key. However, there were a number of problems with our unit. The TV didn’t work very well, nor did the outdoor grill. Some of the interior surfaces were water damaged- I observed this happening as I used water myself (I sent an e-mail to customer service to let them know about these problems). These were inconvenient and detracted from the premium feel of the experience, but weren’t deal-breaking. The biggest problem we had was simply getting help while we were there. The customer service phone number is automated and only has options for making a reservation or reporting an emergency. We had to ask housekeeping for help when they came by to prep other units. They called the manager for me, but I was frustrated that I couldn’t contact the manager myself. Overall, it was a fun and unique experience. It didn’t feel quite as premium as they make it seem, but it was better than most hotels. However, for the price they charge, I’d expect better on-site support. I only had minor issues, but it could have been much worse if I had had a more significant issue.

Celebrated our 17th anniversary here. I was a little reluctant because I'm not really a camping type but this is glamping at its finest! Pet friendly too! Hubby, our little dog and I stayed in suite 2.The bed and sofabed are very comfy! The airstream comes with a microwave and fridge. They also provide George foreman grill but I like to cook so I wish our trailer came with a stovetop. Bath robes are provided. The bath products they provide are amazing! Wish i can take them home lol. Our suite has a stand up shower- love the look of the showerhead but I wish the pressure of the water is stronger as it looks. Also, our airstream is right next to the street so it was a little noisy plus you can see the shadow of the stoplight coming from the bathroom. On our first night, the patio light isn't working so we called and left vm to "front desk" number they provide. I was so sure that it won't get fixed but the next day they sent someone to fix it! The patio looks so much better with it at night. The autocamp location is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, beaches and even laundromats! However, the autocamp itself is located in a trailer park and a local bar. There's 6 airstream in there, if can, choose #4,5,6. They're located farther to the street and with no neighbors behind. This was such a great experience for me, my husband and our dog Charlie. Santa Barbara is a lovely place to go to especially for dog lovers. Overall, we love our stay here and we will definitely come back again!
