Delicious food as always. I enjoyed the chicken fajita burrito while the rest of my party had enchiladas and tacos. Always enjoy the different types of salsas they have.

Great food, and wonderful service. This is a low-key place where you order at the counter and take a number back to your table, but they still have employees who check in with you and offer to take away your dishes when you’re done. The food is affordable, large portions, and delicious. Did not try their drinks but they have HUGE margaritas if that’s your thing.

This place is lovely. They offer a lot of different dishes. I ordered the enchiladas w octopus & shrimp. The best enchiladas I've had! Extremely good quality foods and drinks. The restaurant is clean and big. They have a salsa bar, pretty cool. Great customer service, easy to find parking. If you are in Santa Barbara you have to try this place.

Super good. You walk up to order and then sit. Patio was awesome. Chips are delivered ASAP, and then hit the salsa bar. Flavorful food, generous portions, excellent staff. Fully recommend.

Tasty food. Tried the shrimp calamari tamales and seafood tropical dish. Great flavors and fresh food. Minus a star because of the strong odor of urine while sitting outside. It smelt like a porta potty at times, no idea where it came from. Otherwise great experience.

We stopped for lunch and was exactly what we were looking for. Very good food, well prepared and excellent flavor. Very nice seating inside & out. The staff was very friendly, asking us several times if everything was ok or good. We can highly recommend Los Agaves on De La Vina.

No service like a traditional restaurant but look like it would give you one. No one explains how the ordering works, that you just walk into then order, kinda just a fancy king taco with a pretty view. Food is good, ratios are way off. 70%veggie 30% actual thing you wanted to try. Bathrooms very clean, staff is nice and helpful

The parking is the trickiest part of this establishment. Which is a good and bad thing as it clearly shows it's an in demand spot. The prices are a bit up there BUT what you get in return makes it so worth it. The salsas are amazing and there is one salsa that is EXTREMELY hot and I love it :)! We weren't too fond of our appetizer coming out at the same time as our meal but we were shocked at how quick the food came out. The horchata was authentic and it's just a great place to have some delicious latin food. The steak was so tender and boasting in flavor that you will practically have a foodgasm. Authentic food, salsa and you'll leave full and possibly with leftovers as their portion size is decent.

One of the best Mexican food places I've been to. Food came out under 10 minutes. I got the Agave burrito and it was excellent (they put this mango salad dressing on the salad ... could eat a bucket of salad with that on it). The birria tacos were really good as well, it's on the special menu, you can ask for it. Out of our group of eight people, we didn't get one thing we didn't like.

This is one of our go to spots in Santa Barbara. Food is always awesome! Steak nachos and the enchiladas plate. They have a nice verity at the salsa bar. The fish tacos are also amazing and fresh.

Highly recommend this place. I had the chicken mole. Could of used a little bit more mole sauce. I just wanted about 2 spoons of mole and was going to get charged for it. I decided against it even though I tipped them already $30 from my amount of $120. The drinks are good.

Delicious food! It'd be nice if they could take your order at your table instead of having customers stand in line. Other than that, the food is great.

We visited Los Agaves for lunch when we were passing Santa Barbara. They have open concept seating with few outdoor tables & lots of indoor ones. We ordered guacamole, los agaves salad & mole anaheim (specials menu on the black board). They also gave complimentary chips & have salsa buffet. - Chips & salsa: the chips were crispy & I like the fresh tomato salsa the most - Guacamole: good but the portion was quite small for the price. - Los agaves salad: delicious. The combination works well with the dressing & the portion was good - Mole anaheim: it came with 2 pieces of jalapeno with chicken & cheese with mole sauce on top. The mole sauce was deliciousss! It also had fluffy rice & pinto bean. This was my favorite.

It’s so nice to be able to order your food and then dine in the patio, nice fast food. Their salsa bar is amazing! We split the nachos and it was enough for both my husband and I. We’d definitely return next time in SB.

Really good Mexican restaurant. The restaurant is clean, good service. We ordered enchiladas, tacos and burritos and they were all good. Lots of parking reserved for the restaurant too. Will come back next time when we visit Santa Barbara.

You order at the counter, get your own drink, salsa, and pico. There are always great specials. Great flavor and presentation! Sea food is a specialty but enchiladas are always wonderful! The rice is amazing according to my daughter.

We went here while on vacation in Santa Barbara based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing. Got the Enchiladas Guadalajara and they were so delicious. The flavors in the shredded beef and red sauce was so good. They also have a salsa bar with alot of varieties and they were all really great also. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was hip and casual with self serve seating after ordering food at the counter. Highly recommend.

Amazing meals which takes the experience of Mexican food to a different level and the flan at the end was the perfect finish for the lunch.

Consistently rated as the best Mexican food in town. Any dish with agave sauce is recommended, but also do check out the daily specials as they change quite often . Prices are high, but the food is good so you get what you pay for. Free chips are provided and the salsa bar is self serve and freshly stocked and maintained. This is a great place to take out of town guests or to check out if you're in town visiting for the weekend. 3 locations around Goleta and SB to choose from as well

1st stop was Agaves off of State Street in Santa Barbara, and the place is cool. Walk-up and order your choice of favorite Mexican cuisine, or if you're interested in just cocktails like we were, no problemo! Chips and Salsa are free with a nice salsa bar. Prices are reasonable, large Margaritas will put you back $22, but their 24oz glasses. We both had large margaritas, Mezcal for me and Gayava for Carmen. Be sure to have a peek if you're in the area.
