Known for their alambres (sautéed and grilled meats and veg covered in melted cheese and served with corn tortillas) but I prefer their gorditas: crispy fried delight filled with your choice of protein (I chose chicken tinga) and lettuce, crema, queso. Pastor anything is also good (burrito, taco, etc). We also enjoyed the chicken taquito plate with rice and beans. Adequate salsa bar with 4 salsas, radish, cilantro, onion, lemon. Service is fast. Tacos are $2-$3; gorditas $4; burritos around $8; alambres around $12. Small parking lot but there’s plenty of street parking.

Their salsas are very tasty. Burritos were great for the kids, wish I could've ordered more.

The lengua in anything is unreal, the Cubans torta is one of the best I’ve ever had and the tomatillo salsa sent us to another world. Ordered online and had it in hand in what felt like less than 15 minutes. We’ve only had take out twice in the last few months and both have been here.

Came in for a bite to eat and found it buzzing with people ordering and picking up orders. Still got friendly and speedy service and the food was delicious. I tried 4 tacos (lengua, asada, pollo, al pastor) and I was impressed with the tenderness of the lengua as well as the tastiness of the asada. Definitely recommend.

The food is great and I don't always eat there, but 8/10 times it's perfect. Only twice I got salty meat and dark brown crunchy sopes. Maybe another round of 10 times will do the trick. It definitely won't hurt to try.

The tacos and burritos are amazing here. What I love most though is their salsa. The staff is always friendly and the location is convenient on Carrillo. Parking is a bit tough to find, you're best off finding something on the side streets. This is one place I frequent alot and you should too.

One of the best burritos that I’ve had. The texture of the tortilla, beef, and cheese is nice. The salsa bar is quality. It is not easy to find good Mexican food in California

Such bomb food. The alambres de pollo and the mixed one with all the meat is sooo good. I haven't tried everything there yet! Lol (but i will 😛) but i highly recommend this place. Fresh food made to order , you can tell in the presentation and the quality.. You have to try it ...😊👍🤙

I liked this place. It is really simple, but the tacos were great (I had chorizo and al pastor). The chicharrón gordita was not as good as I'd hoped, though. I expect chicharrón to be crispier than that, though the gordita was great. There is a table outside, but most of the seating was inside.

Taqueria Cuernavaca and the employees are the best except for the owner. He is rude at all times. #Delicious Tacos, Lengua and Pastor. Gorditas with Chicharon Prensado are always good when Connie cooks them.

This place was great. I had 5 street tacos. The lengua was so good it didn't even make it out the door, very soft and moist, and tasted like lengua rather than just beef. The chorizo was around middle of the line (but chorizo is always good), not as geasy as I prefer but also not super salty, which was nice because it let me taste the rest of the ingredients. The chicharron was a new one for me, I think I have never seen chicharron tacos before; very well made chicharron the flavor of the salsa really absorbed into the meat, was just a little bit sweet, I do recommend this. The tripa and al pastor were the stars for me. The tripa was hella crispy, but still tasted like tripa, and the al pastor really was probably close to the best al pastor I've ever had w/ actual pineapple in it, and you can taste the Lebanese spices in the meat. I expect on a November night probably the restaurant crowds are mostly eating at home, but there were some others there when i was there, so i could imagine it being pretty busy in warmer weather. The prep was super speedy, too; not that I had a lot of food, but it still came out very fast. Super convenient location for a quick stop off the highway!

Alambre looks so sad, it could make a grown man cry. Bell peppers weren't even cooked. Taste was bland. Salsa was decent actually.

Wet burrito (marinated beef) with salsa verde and lettuce. The restaurant has good tasting burritos.

Great food, extensive menu, fast service and reasonable prices. Best tongue tacos I've had.

Ample outdoor seating, but that might have been because we arrived right before the lunch rush. Anyways, the food was pretty good, a little overpriced (we paid 40 bucks for everything pictured here) but the service was excellent. We ordered a variety of tacos (pastor and tripas), one gordita de chicharron/chile verde, one quesadilla of tripas, and one "gringa" (pastor and pineapple quesadilla). The salsas had a ton ot flavor, the tripas were crispy, and the food was just very fresh-tasting overall. I would come here again!
