San Ysidro Ranch is easily one of my favorite hotels in the world. I have about five hotels on the list so far out of all my travels. The cottages are perfection. The decor, the size, the layout of ours, ( the OAK Cottage) was simply perfect for our 5 night stay. Our room had a two decks, one in the front and one in the back. Both very private and wonderful to lounge on in the terrific weather. The jacuzzi was fantastic, very hot with great pressure and clean. We enjoyed Stonehouse Restaurant immensely. The pool area takes you back to old Hollywood it felt, terrific design and upkeep. The service at the hotel, all around was professional, courteous, and complimentary to the quality of the hotel and the property. We'd recommend it highly. We have to admit, the prices are steep, but for what we got, it was well worth it!

This is the most cozy yet elegant, truly extraordinary restaurant I have ever been to. We were outdoors in the evening, so lighting was very dim. The experience was one of a kind. It was definitely worth the drive to Santa Barbara. Highly recommended to everyone.

I had my retirement and special birthday party there at the ranch. It was all I dreamed it would be. The Wine cellar area was beautiful! I chose to have the whole event outside due to the pandemic. The staff went out of their way to make it perfect. Also it was warm because of the fireplace and the heaters. The food was fabulous and the service was impeccable!

This place is breathtakingly beautiful! The staff set the standard in customer care. It's off the beaten path and not touristy. Serene is the word that comes to mind. Hot tip: you don't actually need to be a guest to visit. I highly recommend going to the restaurant for a bite to eat. It's pricey but the view and the ambiance are more than worth it. Then you can wander the food garden.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by having lunch here today at the Stonehouse. Everything, down to every detail was perfect. I ordered the grilled blackened salmon salad and my husband had the burger. I loved my salad so much and was surprised by the generous size of salmon. I also chose the mocktail "The Tropics". The grounds are absolutely divine and you will want to give yourself at least 30-45 minutes to look around and take pics. A nice gentleman working there, took a couple of photos of us.

The food for lunch was mist represented and just didn’t taste good. Some of the worst food I’ve had in a long while. Shame I wasted a meal here.

World-class experience. Excellent on all attributes. Gigi is an All-Star Waitress and supported by a winning team. Food is deliciously yummy. Excellent value for the money.

Very expensive but worth the experience. Obviously you can’t go here all the time but it is nice for special occasions. The smoked cocktails were amazing :)

We just went to the restaurant. The whole ranch feels very exclusive and well maintained. Beautiful gardens and nice banquet venues made me feel so delighted just walking around. One day I'd love to stay at the hotel.

This is a review for their new afternoon High Tea service. One word: wow. This was one of the best high tea experiences I’ve had (including London, etc!). Mostly because the setting and grounds are GORGEOUS. if you like the “cottage-core” or British rose garden aesthetic, this is your place!!! Service from valet to servers was all fantastic. The grounds have rainbow roses, lemon trees, hummingbirds, and a guitar player strumming in the background. The tea service came with the traditional 3-tiered plate that included scones, finger sandwiches and pastries. The tea selection itself was solid. Had such a crisp fall evening here in October, and cannot wait to come back and bring my mom!!

One of the most lovely retreats I've experienced. My Mother and I went for their Tea Service. We were escorted to their rose garden, where two pillowed seats were nestled under weeping trees, The view was both private and serene. A lovely nose-gay (bouquet) of lavender and mint rested at our table. We had a wide selection of treats to choose from and enjoyed our tea sandwiches and small pastry delights while relaxed, unhurried and pampered! We had hand rolled jasmine tea and Oolong. A must if in Montecito or Santa Barbara area.

Beautiful place, rather expensive though. The staff was surprisingly mixed in terms of service for such a tony place. The servers were very attentive, but the lady that was trying to assign us our table, kept on pushing us to a table that we did not want. When you’re paying this kind of money, service should be a given.

Great place for dinner for special occasion. It's really on the pricey side, but the food was outstanding. I had short ribs...so tasty. The appetizer was sooo good, as was dessert. Servers were kind and professional.

One of the highlights of the area, I’ve always had a good experience here. An exhaustive wine and cocktail list will leave you fulfilled and although Google may not tell you this, they’ve got a fully fledged vegetarian/vegan menu and tonnes of option for black swans like me. Top notch service and great atmosphere, expect to leave this establishment fully fed and not bloated.

Charming, secluded property in Montecito with fabulous views of the Santa Barbara Coastline. Accommodations can be all inclusive and the grounds are immaculately attended to. Each "cottage" has it's own entrance and is very private. Wondeerful ambience and attention to detail in the decor and the cuisine.
