Went 10/28/21 to see Glass Animals. The venue was beautiful. The bathrooms were easily accessible. There is a rather steep climb, but they offer trolley rides free of charge to anyone who does not want to / can't walk up. The line at the merch booth was fast. The sound quality of the show was amazing, and so was the view of the stage. (I was in section G, row L, which initially I dreaded because of the supposed distance, but I still ended up dancing and having a great time.) Great birthday present, couldn't have seen the band at a better place.

As venues go it's hard to beat this one. GA tickets get you SO close on a concrete pad so no worries about dirt/mud. The audio is amazing especially for an outdoor venue. The drink likes can be long but what do you expect from a concert? Also, they do a great job with rideshare having what would no doubt be a pileup at the entrance go down to the high school a short walk down the street. From leaving the venue to being in our lift was about 7min. Piece of cake!

I've been here to a couple of concerts. The venue is really nice and the food is really good. One thing though is get there early so you can park on the street nearby or at the school parking lot. If you don't you will walk a lot of blocks. Then you have the hill you have to hike up to get to the venue. There are trolleys that can drive you up there if you have health issues. The sound is awesome 👍 I love this place.

We love this venue. Weather is usually amazing, but can cool down at night, so always good to bring a sweater. Wear good shoes as there are a lot of stairs. Every concert I've been to here was awesome!

Came here for the Smashing Pumpkins concert in May. I will say the sound quality was amazing. I would have liked it slightly louder, but it was still good where it was at. The venue is also really pretty just to look at. They have a cool Jerry Garcia tribute with a hand sculpture. Seating was comfortable in section G and the view was great. I am deducting 1 star for a few different things. First, the climb is crazy to get the the actual bowl. It’s a huge workout just to get there. Second, the parking situation is terrible. Third, the 10pm cutoff really limits what a band can do, especially if they’re feeling the crowd on a particular night.

One of my favorite venues in California. Gorgeous little amphitheater with a killer view from the top! Small enough to feel intimate but big enough to attract awesome musicians. The best of California 💖

One of the most beautiful, well maintained and staffed venues I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff was the nicest venue staff I have ever interacted with, ever. Everyone is smiling and is happy to help you. The sound was perfect and the atmosphere just feels like a vacation. The breeze off the water from time to time, feels great for hotter shows when you are standing in GA. I didn’t find the walk from the starting point to the seats long, but we skipped the opener and booted it up those steps to see the beginning of the headliner (Fleet Foxes). The parking is kind of spread out and fairly expensive even if you are further. The homes and in general the area, is simply beautiful. You cannot beat the location. Hope to come back again soon!

Between Hollywood Bowl, The Greek Theater and SB Bowl, SB Bowl is my choice hands down! Such a GORGEOUS venue, decent seats, and not enormous. Even the very last row, the bench seats, have a good view. Sound is great and the weather in Santa Barbara is some of the best in the world. This is one of my very favorite concert venues.

We went to the Santa Barbara Bowl to see Van Morrison in September 2023. This venue is amazing! Perfect location, excellent acoustics, and very clean and beautiful. The concert was outstanding the people who run the venue are excellent. I would definitely go back to enjoy another concert.

What an amazing music venue, small intimate and the sound is wonderful.. there is a hard cut-off for music of 10pm so shows tend to start earlier than other places... This is a fairly easy walk about 1.8mi from the hotels near the beach.. the restaurants around are amazing so leave early grab food, then enjoy an wonderful venue and show...

Love this place! Way nicer then the Hollywood Bowl! The terrific people were, as always, helpful, patient, and kind! I'm going to need knee surgery in December, so I'm moving slower then normal. They noticed, and commented to me, take your time, plenty of time! I have attended most of the Southern California venues. It's smaller, and intimate! I have pretty long legs, and the space to the back if the seat is good!

What a beautiful venue! No parking AT venue. However, there is a local school a few blocks away where you are directed to park and walk. It was $15 at the event we went to Aug, 2021, However, be prepared to walk and climb stairs that are at times uneven or very steep. And there is a steep incline in order to get to the theater. But now they have trolleys to bring you up there! They're quick and easy to access. Don't bring large purses or bags to this venue( or any other venue really nowadays) or be willing to pay by dropping it off at customer service while attending the show. My husband and I sat in the bench seats at the back. Not the most comfortable but most every seat in the theater is a pretty good view of the beautiful stage. And they have 2 large screens anyway for those who are further away too. Overall, great venue, nice staff, easy to get to, and easy to leave.

Wow. What an amazing venue. It was positively beautiful. Seeing the sunset as the bands came on, having fantastic, local beverages, friendly yet stern and supportive security... It made the entire night wonderful despite some... Not so great participants in the audience. It's good to know the good balance out the folks who just want to make problems. My partner and I saw glass animals and it was transcendental! Everything about this venue from the check in, to the bathrooms (which were MASSIVE for the size of the venue) to the way the neighborhood was Essentially closed off to cars at the end, felt like an otherworldly experience. Would 100% do again

This is, in my opinion, one of the best places to see a concert. But there is a lot of walking involved to get there. We have seeb many concerts here, the sound is great, the GA section is a good size too. We have had seats here before as well and there does not seem to be a bad seat in the place!!! It is not overly crowded either. The seats are not totally cramped like other venues.

Outstanding venue in a beautiful location. Best sound we've ever experienced in an outdoor venue. No obstructions means there's really not a bad seat in the house Employees and volunteers are friendly and very helpful, especially for those with mobility issues.

Went to see Gary Clark Jr. 09-19-21 Fabulous show! The SB Bowl takes care of it's guests. We felt very safe. There were Crossing Attendants at every intersection. You had to be masked and have your Immunization Card and be screened through a Metal Detector. It's very clean, classy and organized. The venue itself is fantastic, with great sound! Highly recommended 👌

We parked at the Armory a little bit of a walk from venue but worth it. The staff inside and outside of venue were amazing. Very informative and went out of the way to tell us about the venue and help us to our seats. The venue is super clean and looks up to date The sound quality was amazing as was the lighting and every aspect of the show. Lines we're easy to navigate for food and drinks and the restrooms are plenty big enough. The walk out was easy and getting to the car no problem. They do have a ride sharing spot as well and it seems pretty straightforward. Can't wait to go back for another concert!!

Drove up from Los Angeles and it was well worth it. A good but smaller than the Greek Theatre in LA and you really aren’t going to have a bad seat anywhere in the bowl because of its smaller size. Bought general admission tickets and it was great to be right up close to the band while still having breathing room. Sound was great and easy to grab drinks and food or merch. Very easy to enter and exit without too much fuss.

The best "Bowl" in the business! Top talent bands routinely stop in mid-week between cities (like LA, SF). Amazing outdoor amphitheater, intimate, happiest people on earth. Get here!

One of my absolute favorite venues. And I am a concert photographer. I can't say enough about this place. It's magical. Entry is easy. Little bit of a walk up a hill but not bad. Scenery is gorgeous, and be sure to walk up to the top to overlook Sb to the ocean. It's remarkable! And you can park at the high-school it's safe and inexpensive. Or free in the neighborhoods.

Amazing venue to see a show! Gives very similar vibes to red rocks but if it was just in a much richer area. Nice that the seats have backs but gets a little awkward if only half the seating area decides to be standing and some want to seat. If it’s an artist your really interested I’d recommend the GA standing section

One of the BEST places to see a performance! Every seat is great, and from the top, you can see all of Santa Barbara. The concession food is top-notch, very fresh and healthy. The people who attend are also really nice! It's just a different kind of crowd, very kind and classy. Parking is easy and $15. If you don't dilly dally after the concert, you won't have any problems getting out of the parking lot.

Great venue! Great performer - Kenny Loggins - so a great experience! Easy to get to, good facilities, and the food/drink lines look longer than they are.
