It’s a great RV park with all the amenities. But, me and my husband had a bad experience. We lost our LOCKED road bike and nobody in the office are helping us or even ‘soothes’ us with words. I asked the man in the office to at least see what was happening on the CCTV. The man didn’t let us and just saying something ‘What’s the point seeing the CCTV, do you want to see someone carrying your stolen bike and then say bye bye?’ and also something like ‘Yeah it is what it is, if you don’t use the bike then someone elses does’, ‘It is LA, the police won’t do anything either’ etc. We are a tourist, we are a foreigner. It isn’t just feel right and as a foreigner we do believe the guys in the office weren’t helping that much. But it’s a nice themed RV park tho. Oh, we also met Jay the nice guy who worked there. He told us that the carpenter who also parked his RV there had his tools stolen. Good luck with your belongings here.

We loved this place. The service was exceptional by the staff. They drove us to our full hook up space and directed us into the spot, then they connected our water, sewer and electric for us. The spaces are close but with placement of trees and painted fences you don't notice it. There is a small dog park with some toys at the back and the laundry was so reasonable and clean. The location is in Van Nuys and close to the highway. We would definitely visit again.

This is more than an RV park centrally located in the land of large dreams and big screens. It’s more than a place to park an RV and stay a few days. With management’s superior service, the awesome laundry facilities, clean shower rooms and some of the coolest themed art displays placed throughout the park…, this quickly begins to feel so much like home that it’s hard to leave! Five star plus rating! Thank you, Steve and team!

This particular RV Park has a eclectic collection of long-term residents and travelers. The owner, Steve, is genuinely one of the nicest people you will meet. The dog run isn't much too talk about and it's tight up in here, but the location is really decent. The laundry room is clean and the machines work. There are bathrooms and showers on site that are kept clean. You can get to wherever you want to go pretty easily, dependent of course on LA traffic. All-in-all, I would stay here again. It was rather pleasant and enjoyable.

Be warned. You'll pay EXTRA for them to SAVE the spot/lot that you book/reserve. This is the only place in US that I know this kind of fee. Update: The reason why I gave 1 star was because I misunderstood my sister - she talked about another RV park - not this one. My apology! About this place after two nights stay - they parked and hooked up our RV and trailer. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked supplies.

This RV park and all the people in it were so beautiful and friendly and welcoming that I never wanted to leave. Art is everywhere. Beautiful gardens, butterflies, happy people. An amazing owner who took me around for a golf cart tour of the place. I can't wait to go back. Literally the best RV park I have ever been at in my entire life. I feel like I have a little family in LA now. Thank you guys for being so welcoming and loving. You have a tremendous light.

This is a hidden gem! I’m a traveling nurse and I was working 3 months in LA. My husband and I needed a place to stay with our rig. We found Hollywood RV park and we’re so happy we did! Not only did they help us out when we needed it most, the park is beautiful. So many trees and great shaded spots. All of our neighbors were wonderful, there was a little dog area for our pups! And my favorite part of the park was all the string lights in the trees at night, so pretty! We also enjoyed all of the community aspects, like game nights and other events. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in LA. It was a wonderful time spent here, highly recommend!

Our family is camping across America and back, starting in Raleigh, NC. Hollywood RV Park is our family’s favorite campground on this trip. Steve the owner is such a welcoming person, so easy to talk with, and he parked our camper and set it up for us, which was very much appreciated. We loved walking our dogs and seeing all of the art all around the park. We also enjoyed talking with people who are longer term living there, they were full of suggestions about area restaurants and sightseeing. We were constantly coming and going to sightsee and check on our dogs, and the park’s location was very convenient and safe. We loved the friendly, artsy, good vibe of the place. We’d love to visit again!

My husband and I stayed here for about 3 weeks. I absolutely love this park, It truly is a little gem in Los Angeles!!! Steve is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and really cares about your experience at his park. The art work is gorgeous and the whole set up is Super Cute! At night it is lit up and my absolute favorite is the chandeliers in the trees!! We will definitely be back!!

My first time here, this place has a lot of historical place with a lot of great wall paintings. Steve ‘s a owner or manager has great humor personality, staffs help us set up electric, water and sewer for us. Last time we went to El Captain RV park, they are charge extra fee for lock site fee to secure your spot, that was ridiculous. It has been a pleasure to stay at this RV park. By the way, we read some of bad reviews before we arrive to RV park about hidden fee and lock site fee, they don’t have that policy at this RV park, Steve and staffs are nice and trust

My husband and I have been traveling the country in our 24' Sprinter for about 3 months now and have stayed at quite a few RV parks. This family-owned park was one of our favorites! The decor is fun, the staff is hard-working and friendly and the park is so dang cute! Steve, the owner is around quite a bit and works very hard to maintain everything along with his great maintenance staff. Sites are pretty tight, but each one has personality - and they are expert at getting some surprisingly big rigs in place. Showers are clean and hot. Laundry is clean and fairly priced. All in all, a very good stay at a safe and happy park in a very good location.

Horrible customer service! We applied here because we were told they accommodate families who need to be close to the hospital, in fact, they’re phone message states it. Our daughter has a rare condition and needs care at CHLA, a transplant to be exact. The daughter of the owner was sympathetic to what our family was facing and said it’s a great location for us the be in transplant radius. We were also told by the daughter of the owner that the park is pet friendly and she asked how many pets we had and we told her 3 dogs. She said it wouldn’t be a problem. The website also doesn’t state a minimum pet restriction. She said we wouldn’t have an issue staying there. I’ve called several times to check on our application status and was told I’d receive a call back and never did. I had to keep calling. Also, when I did finally speak to the owner he gave me his exact opinion on what we should do, rent a townhouse or something. Totally rude! If you’re a larger family (5 people in our party) that needs to be close to the hospital for you kiddo or a loved one then look elsewhere. Horrible, horrible customer service. They turned away awesome renters and the exact client they advertise to. They need to update they’re phone message and take off the hospital part because they don’t make an effort! I normally don’t write reviews but this was an exception.

We have traveled cross country and stayed in many campgrounds. The sites here are tight but it's a miracle there are still RV parks in the LA area where land is more valuable put to other uses. The service here is unbeatable. If you are staying longer than a couple weeks, Steve, the owner, will do his best to find you a good site. We got lucky twice with last minute bookings and we stayed here a total of about 8 weeks. The bathroom is impeccable. The laundry is cheap. The dog run is just a dirt patch in the back but Balboa Park is a 10 min drive south and Aliso Canyon is about a 15- min drive north. A lot of permanent residents live here and they make this place a real community. We will definitely stay here again.

There’s something magical about this park. My wife and I work in the motion picture industry and have traveled all over the country living on the road. When we came to Los Angeles we had no idea where to go. Steve, the owner was incredible. He was so accommodating and with a warm smile and his swift forklift skills got our rig settled in to the perfect spot. He became a friend and truly has something special to share with everyone. We feel there’s no other RV park like this one and we have stayed at many on our cross country trips. Hollywood RV Park is our home away from home and we can’t wait to be back. Colorful, quiet, quaint, artsy, cozy, and safe. Are just a few words to describe this awesome community. For the short term stay or the long, visiting this park is a must do.

Hollywood RV Park is such a quirky and wonderful place, filled with fun art and Hollywood nostalgia! My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in the park from September through early January during a travel nurse contract. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The spots are large & very private, the facilities are all clean & well maintained, the laundry is the cheapest you’ll find in LA, and the staff was absolutely awesome! Steve (owner) was especially helpful & overly generous while we were in a jam dealing with engine issues on our rig. The park also has all sorts of weekly & monthly events like game nights, talent shows, concerts, yoga, etc., which help to make it feel much more like a community rather than just a spot to park a vehicle. All of the residents/neighbors that we met along the way were so warm and inviting! All-in-all, we could not have been happier with our stay at the Hollywood RV Park!!! We STRONGLY RECOMMEND staying there!

My wife is a travel nurse and we stayed here for 3 months. I would highly recommend. Maintenance staff is very friendly. Steve is a great guy to talk with. Probably the best Park owner you’ll ever meet. One of the full timers had a small complaint against us. But Lisa at the front desk was extremely respectful and nice when addressing the issue.

This is one of the most beautiful rv park we have been through. The owner steve is one of the most wonderful human being I ever met. This place has fully hooked up and the decor is so pretty. He even park and level our rv in the spot you don’t have to do anything. We are definitely come back next time in town. Thanks Steve and keep up good work

We loved our Stay here! The owner of the park was just awesome! Very nice, seen a lot of things, so he got story's to tell. The park is designed super cool, we were staying on yellowbrickroad. This place is just beautiful! Very nice murals on the walls, clean facilities and a Landry room. You can even buy detergent in the office! We just stayed for one night, but would definitely come back again.

Great location and atmosphere. We stayed 4 nights and had a good experience. About the owner Steve, he genuinely serves people and gives back to the community. His stories about people almost put my wife in tears. Stay here and enjoy the park. More importantly know the owner uses his resources for good of others.

My wife, two boys and I stayed here mid August 2021. We were so pleasantly surprised. This is the cutest and most unique RV park I've ever stayed in or seen. The murals and other art works make this place very fun to walk around in the evenings and discover. The staff is very welcoming and always willing to help with anything to make you stay better. I met the owner during check in and he is a very warm and friendly guy. We will be booking here again!

Great location and clean as a whistle. The lot may be tiny but feels spacious because it's so perfect. The laundry and bathrooms are spotless. We are within 30 minutes of most everything. The facility has great staff, always trimming bushes or painting murals. We were extremely happy with our 7 night visit and will come again.

This place is phenomenal. The owner and office manager are extremely helpful. The park itself is a hidden gem. Once you pull in here you forget that your in the middle of the city. Lots of trees and beautiful murals. I'm so glad I found this hidden treasure.

The people Al and Steve were so pleasant. This was the first time we took our RV out. Al helped guide me into our spot. I want to thank him for that. I made it on the first try thanks to him. We were given an amazing spot right next to the amazingly clean bathrooms (my husband is disabled). Steve (owner) came over and made us feel very welcome. We definitely recommend this park and will be going back again. Thank you for the pleasant stay The Osbornes

This is a beautiful RV park. The owner takes so much pride in the place. There are beautiful murals throughout and many other decorations and types of art. The gym is very well equipped and the roads are well maintained. It’s also very safe and very cozy.

Excellent. We enjoyed our stay. Centrally located so that trips to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles were easy. We had an accident while we were staying at the Park (on the 405, not in the park) and the owner and staff went out of their way to help us. I would highly recommend Hollywood RV Park.

The RV campground is in the perfect location if you're looking to do fun things in the Los Angeles area. The owner was extremely kind and such an awesome person to speak with. Not only did they provide the best hospitality, the owner also valet our Travel trailer into our designated spot, leveled us out, and provided his own chalks to stabilize us. The Rv campground itself has so much character and overall great energy i instantly felt at ease and relaxed.

Second time we arrived at Steve's great Hollywood RV Park. Last time was 2019. It's a great place to visit LA. With an Uber you get everywhere. Steve and the staff are very helpful with everything they can help you with. Showers and toilets are good. And yes there are sounds but you are in LA!! See you guys next time and thank you for the great time again. Greetings Rick ( with the tall son)

My husband and I are travel nurses and Steve, the owner, is really accommodating and amazing. It’s near a lot of places in LA but also affordable. He also let us bring our friendly dogs. Next time we plan on coming back again, but we might just use one of his rental RVs instead of bringing our own because he has that as an option too.

Cute little RV park! I love how every spot has it's own little theme. They used a fork lift to park our travel trailer which was really helpful. It is a quiet park, 18 min drive to Universal with little to no traffic. But 30-45 minutes with traffic. Will definitely stay here again!

They were super nice. We called last minute to stay 3 nights and they said "no problem". Then we wanted to stay one more night and they more than accommodating (even when they were fully booked). Great location. Everyone was friendly. The bathrooms and laundry areas were always clean. The owner Steve was awesome. I enjoyed chatting with him. Thanks for being so kind to my whole family.

This place was spectacular. I was concerned when I booked it because, camping in LA? Well, let me tell you the owner is fantastic! Has a majority of his spots full with long term residents (mix of contract / traveling nurses, studio executives, patients that need to stay close to the hospital). The artwork throughout the park is spectacular. The bath/shower/laundry facilities are nice, clean and under lock and key so safe. Small fenced in area in the back for dogs. Rec room, vending machines and more! Highly recommend staying here, you’ll love it.

Super place to stay, has a very distinct feel with a mix of visitors and residents but very clear community oriented. 5 star check in with personal attention and guiding to our spot, and wonderful knowledgeable caring staff. Strong canine and feline presence, very clean and organised, all spots have personal space and unique elements and everyone super friendly and engaging. Highly recommend!!

By far the BEST customer service at a RV park my family and I have ever received! Location wasn’t bad, very cute paintings all over the park, and we would stay here again. It was quiet at night and being new to the area, we were concerned about noise and night life but never ran into any issues.

  • 4/5 Joe S. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely friendly, helpful and professional staff. Easy access to public transport and Uber. It's a bit overpriced and the washrooms would need definitely a brush up. Other than that we were satisfied. It's the closest Campground to get to Hollywood and the Getty Museum.

  • 5/5 Anna L. C. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful, friendly, safe, well-managed park. The bath house and laundry are always clean. The electric, water & sewer hookups work the way they should. You can get packages delivered here! The plantings and murals are fun, colorful, and attractive. There’s a great deal of attention to details at this place. The management is always here - they’re easy to find and easy to talk to. I’m going to be sad when it’s time for me to leave.

Seriously so surprised when we pulled in. Staff incredibly friendly and want you to enjoy your stay. Atmosphere very community focused. Clean bathrooms and laundry. They even have a small but adequate gym. A central location for your stay. The artwork and atmosphere were enjoyable. Quiet sleeps. Highly recommend!

Sometimes you just get lucky. Hollywood RV Park was a most pleasant surprise. Steve and his staff have built not only a very cool RV park, an oasis in the middle of Los Angeles, but they have built a very unique community. We spent two very good days and nights in a great spot. Wonderful, friendly neighbors and an all-around good vibe. Highly recommend for RV'rs who need a safe, comfortable spot near just about everything.
