When we went the place was packed. There were a number of people waiting (definitely a good sign). The wait was very brief and def worth it. Huge portions, excellent flavors. Service was also fantastic (especially with how busy they were).

<Sigh> Sat immediately! Then waited 10minutes(probably a little longer) to be helped. Customers that walked in with us literally already had their food delivered by the time our drink order was taken!!! Was really weird, once our order was taken our food arrived within three minutes after! Omelets were on point, and the Hawaiian pancake was delicious. The potatoes were really good. The highlight was the french toast... wow!!! Sooo damn good. They take a banana nut bread and make a french toast out of it and then take fried bananas and top the french toast with em. Absolutely amazing!!! Our waitress literally didnt bring our check forever... not sure what was up with that, as we saw the every other table being attended to effectively and efficiently. Still a solid four stars even though it clearly deserves a five!

I went to have brunch with my friends today. One of the friends I went with was a friend who traveled here from Korea and it was the last day of meeting before she went back to Korea. I heard that the alameda branch is old and popular locally, so I went there for the first time except for other branches, but I didn't want to go there again after today. The reason is because of our server. I've never seen such an unkind server at the bill's cafe branch.

Our favorite go to brunch spot! Special shout out to Susie / Suzanne for amazing service, great conversations and accommodating customizations to the order. Delicious brunch, the vibe is very chill and the parking is convenient!

Like many Bill's in the area, they have brunch perfected. I am always satisfied when I leave, and walk out with leftovers due to generous portion sizes. Definitely worth your time and money to dine here.

Popular breakfast and brunch spot that has Benedicts worth considering. Denver omelet was good but I loved the crab cake Benedict! Hash browns were nice and crisp. Coffee was hot and tasty. Great service too!

Great breakfast chain for classic breakfast options. 👍 Prices are fair and quality of food is good with great portions. 💯 Service is descent but can use some improvement. More variety of meats with be appreciated 👍😉

First, I like to say the music selection was awesome. I seat danced the entire time. Every plate was delicious! Not one disappointment in the bunch. I enjoyed a vegetarian omelette with smoke salmon. Someone tried the Banana French Toast and declared that we would be returning. Even the traditional French Toast was excellent. No matter what requests were asked, we were well served. Definitely, will be back!

Been to a lot of different bills cafes they're all little different because each cook does it their own way my potatoes were pretty raw not season and burned very unhappy eggs are extremely bland besides that maybe they just have an off day but usually it's really good my drink is a michelada with no salt and bacon on the side definitely give this place a try thank you for taking the time to read my short review 😎

Got the El Paso Benedict and Country fried steak. Worth the wait. We got to sit outside in perfect weather. Perfect meal before heading back home from our Mini Vacation.

I enjoyed the food ! However I’m really upset about the service. We booked ahead of time because my grandpa was going to be attending and needs to eat at a certain time . Unfortunately upon arrival we were told to wait outside . Mind you it was raining and cold . We were on time and waited a good 30 min before we were able to get half the party seated . We all wanted to be together so the rest of the party waited in the rain for another 15 min before seated . We were told they had no manager to speak to! Food was good! I’m happy with the waiter. Being that it was a part of 14 . He was able to portion out the bills for us . That was a huge plus .

Went around 2 pm on a Saturday and quickly got a table. Ordered a mexicana omelette and freshly squeezed orange juice. The omelette was delicious. My friend ordered a egg benedict and she said it tasted great. Dropping a star because the waiter kept on pestering for an order despite asking to give us sometime. Moreover, she started cleaning the ketchup and other stuff on our table while we were eating. The other staff was friendly and helpful though. Definitely recommend trying it out once.

First time at Bill's Cafe and those people are food artists! They have such a variety and combination of breakfast items it will blow your mind. And the execution of their artistry is magnificent. The food is cooked down to the perfection of a master! I tried the banana pudding bread, the poached eggs and Hawaiian pancakes it was just intense. Who adds coconuts , fresh cut bananas and macadamia nuts to pancakes? Billy's that's who! My taste buds are still thanking me till today for that choice.

Used to be a favorite. But this time a bit disappointed with the omelette. The smoked salmon benedict is good. The portions can be big, for that you can get a half Benedict. Went on a Sunday morning, huge line, was in the waiting line for more than an hour. You can put your name in the waitlist through yelp.

I had Susie as my server, and she provided me with a beautiful smile, a warm welcome, and great service. I ordered the chilaquiles without meat, and the cinnamon roll French toast. Everything was delicious and it came out pretty quick. Everyone worked as a team to check on me as I dined. I’ll definitely be back!

Visited this new location of Bills Cafe. I am a vegetarian (does not eat egg), so I usually have only one option to order. I ordered Vegetarian skillet with eggs on the side. I am really amazed how all of them can maintain the same taste at all the locations. 1. Services were really good. We were seated immediately. The server was really polite and game us ample amount of time to go through the menu. I respect their work culture that they never rush their customers as usually they are very busy in the weekends. 2. Since I was taking eggs on the side for my friend for Vegetarian skillet, the server himself offered us to make a choice on how we would like the eggs. 3. The food tasted good. It not only looks but is also very healthy. The spies are present in small quantity not to overpower the actual taste of the vegetables added to it. 4. Most importantly, the place was clean with comfortable seating. It is usually busy when I go but at this location, it was not too noisy. I am really hopeful they would maintain this culture :) Looking forward to many more trips there in the future.

Service was great, polite and fast! People there were friendly, even other customers. Atmosphere was welcoming. I hadnt had eggs benedict in years so thought id have that. They have a cute section with about 4 or 5 types of benedict call benediction. I was however a little disappointed. Oureggs on both orders were cooked to long. Werent runny at all so that took away some of the flavor you get from the egg. And the hashbrowns were not preferred. They were to soft, mushy, and not much flavor.

I was impressed by the breakfast Benedict's. I combined crab cake with the hash Benedict's. Egg yolk was runny and the hash browns were crispy!

I had an California omelette w/egg whites which consisted of onions, tomatoes, avocado and mushrooms it was super runny and vegetables were over cooked the cranberry juice was cocktail very water down now I must say that the bread pudding French toast was delicious also this place is very expensive for such horrible taste

Good classic breakfast spot. Nothing fancy. Stopped in for a breakfast treat between classes and was extremely satisfied. The gentleman tending the bar saw to me immediately and my food was out very quickly, even though it seemed pretty busy for a weekday. I got the California Benedict without bacon and it was exactly what I needed. Classic hollandaise sauce and a soaked English muffin. The poached eggs were a bit overdone but still good 👍

It has nice Classic American brunch and the food taste excellent. The atmospheres of the restaurant is also pretty relax and smooth. We have a great appointment there. I think I would visit bill’s cafe again.

Great unexpected find in San Jose! I was reeling from a miserable experience of having been scammed by a budget hotel and this was just the place to help me get back to form. The parking was very crowded so it seems this is a popular haunt. I liked its idea of fusion of Mexican food with the traditional American breakfast menu. I had the Mexican Omelet (with the chocolate pancake add on) which was amazing! It was very heavy and kept me satiated for almost 6 hours.

Good quality at a fair price , staff very welcoming and even if too busy always checking on you for refill or any needs

Ate the Hawaiian pancakes and was better than I expected! Do note they don’t have milk substitutes so not very vegan friendly. Hashbrowns were really tasty too! I’d eat here again for breakfast for sure.

Breakfast is good here, however the hostesses are not friendly, always with an unhappy face, not welcoming. No matter the day hostesses are unfriendly.

Bloody Mary and crab cake eggs Benedict! Both are delicious. Benedict was $17 and BM was $10. Total of meal was $30. Quite pricy for me… don’t think I’ll come back. I’ve had better in LA and Greece xP staffs are nice, big location with plenty of seats. Just avoid meal times

The food and service is amazing. We had so many places to try and we nearly stopped trying other places because our experience here was so incredible. There were six of us in the group. We were seating quickly, our server was friendly and helpful. None of us had an empty water glass at any time. Each one of us had rave reviews of the food we ordered. The least favorite was the croissant french toast. As expected, it didn't have a lot of flavor. However, it was made well and wasn't an option any of us had seen before. It was worth at least trying and my son still ate the whole thing.

Out of this world. Crispy taters, perfectly balanced flavors between goat cheese and dried tomatoes omelet, with side of hot hollandaise and crispy bacon, and sour dough toast. Happy staff. What a treat.

Love coming back home to San Jose and visiting Bill’s Café. Great food, great service great location. Easily one of the best breakfast places in San Jose. Highly recommend the Chicken Apple sausage and the cinnamon roll French toast!! My wife and I will be back again and again.
