Such an awesome place with so much history about Santa Claus. I felt like we stepped back in time. Can’t wait to visit again during the holiday’s, & bring our grandchildren. The staff was very pleasant, & the grounds were immaculately kept, along with all the buildings, church, & Santa monument preserved, beautifully. Loved all the memorabilia in the museum. Loved the gift shop, along with all the local hand made ornaments. We purchased several, along with Santa bucks for Christmas gifts. Such a fun experience for our family. I wish we had taken our girls when they were younger, but our 14 yr old loved it. Fun for all ages! We all felt the spirit of Christmas come alive, even in August. It was a fun stop, in between our 2 day visit to Holiday World. We will definitely be back!
YES!!!!! What an incredible place to stop. Reading letters written to Santa as early as the 1930s brought tears. WOW. I found it so precious and honestly powerful... kiddos really just want their families happy. Nothing to do with presents. I'm grateful I was able to experience this. I also truly enjoyed writing my own letters. What a great and touching gesture. I love it!!!! If you love Christmas and you could use a little trip, stop by!!! Very cool!
Loved our visit to Santa Claus Museum & Village. Kathleen is so welcoming and kind. My son (age 7) loved the train and seeing all the Santa memorabilia. You can write letters to Santa, take photos and buy souvenirs. Enjoy!
What a wonderful place to visit at any age. The letters to Santa will pull on your heart strings. Fun to send a letter to Santa. It's free. They take donations to help with postage.
A nice little museum and grounds. It was interesting to see letters to Santa dating back to the 1930's, I wish I could have read them all. The old church is beautiful. It took about an hour, but I didn't have any kids with me. There is a post office where kids can write letters to Santa, which several were doing.
This place is a must stop! The lady at the front was so welcoming, informative, knowledgeable and friendly! It's very kid friendly as well!
Very friendly soul in the museum. She gave us a brief summary of the place. Interesting artifacts, letters and writings from the past (even before the turn of the century!) The church was simply amazing to walk through, the craftsmanship is inspiring. Neat place to visit if you want the history of Santa Claus, IN. Children can write letters to Santa and they will get a response in December. So awesome. Highly recommend!
We had a great stop here. It was very busy. I would recommend looking at the shirts here. Most of the time they have the best. You can visit Santa during Christmas time. Lots of Santa claus land stuff that I love. Visit the post office to get your letter from Santa.
