Probably the best park I’ve been in a while. My visit was in Spring and everything was green and absolutely beautiful - I felt like I was in some kind of a tropical paradise. It does get crowded during the afternoon, but it adds to the charm of the park - you can’t fault people going there. I recommend going there around the “Golden Hour” as to make some stunning pictures :)

My favourite park in Barcelona, along with Park Güell. This park is free to go to though, and great for a picnic, cerveau or to read. The cascade is also lovely to see and walk around

We strolled here one evening at sunset and the light of it illuminating the golden chariot atop the cascade was breathtaking. My photo does not do it justice but still takes my breath away when I look at it. The park is beautiful anytime but if you can arrange to be at this spot on a sunny sunset you will not be disappointed.

This wasn’t a must see on our list and honestly we only went there because we were in the area and at that point couldn’t even remember what it was but we really enjoyed it. It is a massive, towering monument/water fountain with life-size sculptures of horses and people. Beautiful and epic. Not too crowded and the space is pretty and wide open. I still wouldn’t call this an absolute must see but there are so many things in the area (arc de triomf, etc.) that it would be crazy to skip it. Honestly, to compare it to something more famous like the Trevi Fountain in Rome, this is much grander, much less packed, and much more worth your time. So maybe it should be a must see.

The Regional Parliament, Zoo and a small geologic museum are also located inside the park.

Second best park in Barcelona, only after Gaudi's Park Güell. The old military citadel turned into a gorgeous park which includes a marvelous cascade fountain, the Three Dragons Castle, a couple of museums and the city's zoo.

There is a small area for having gatherings and parties as well. Sadly though there is also the prominence of homeless and hawkers selling items like handbags and towels for lounging in the grass. With a city and park this size though you come to expect this aspect and thankfully here the hawkers didn't seem to be nearly as pushing or harassing of passers by as other places like along side the beaches and main strips. For anyone seeking a nice park stroll I'd recommend spending an hour or two here! Enjoy the massive multi-tiered fountain or grab a spot in the grass and just take it all in.

Really augments the landscape of Barcelona as it’s in a busy area that has an arch. Loved walking through the Ciutadella Park and getting nice pictures of the interior. Highly recommend this attraction. The Barcelona Zoo is accessible through here.

A really lovely park in the city. There were toilets and a place to buy ice creams, food and drinks. We all had a great time on the rowing boats, some of my friends went on twice. A really great place to come and relax away from the busy city

This park was very beautiful, especially on a sunny day with the bright blue water and beautiful fountain. From the top of the fountain you get a beautiful view of the park, and there are often various buskers around playing music and other things. The park can be somewhat crowded so I definitely wouldn't come here if you're looking for solitude and quiet, but I personally found it to be a relaxing area even with all the people around.

Spent hours here the park is stunning lots of lucky men i with I had too money with me there was a man with ladders charging to use them to sit on the elephant 🐘 not sure how much it was it was only 6 euros for 2 people to go in the boats that was fun there is lots to look at I would take a picnic and spend a full day there. Parks inside for the children it was beautiful definitely worth a visit

Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona is an ideal location for an early morning run or else leisurely stroll at any time of the day along mostly dirt paths. There are shady spots to find respite from the heat, attractive buildings and even a few surprises. For those who opt to go early in the morning, enjoy watching dog-owners play with their dogs and watch as the sun rises over the city.

Lovely park, busy but quieter down by the lake where you could relax on the grass and watch the world go by. Boat rental is cheap - 6 euros for 30 minutes and good fun. There was dancing in the bandstand with many couples enjoying.

beautiful and relaxing park! we spent so much time relaxing and enjoying the nature that this park had to offer! it was clean, had sufficient shade but also lots of areas to catch some rays☀️ i will definitely visit when i am back in Barcelona and would recommend people to visit as well!!

Beautiful park with free entry, different spaces offering great picnic areas and great walks. There’s a small lake with ducks and swans in which you can rent a boat for half an hour, cute and fun activity, me and my 6 friends paid 19€ for two boats. Ethereal kind of castle (?) as you can see on the pictures, I recommend going on a sunny day for a more enjoyable view

This park is nice, but could be better. There are lots of homeless people with encampments around. Also, a lot of the statues/buildings could benefit from a pressure wash. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful park with lots of different birds.

Its a nice park but it could use some more care. The roads are sandy and a lot of open sandy fields which could've been filled with some colorful flowers instead

A great park to visit when the sun is out. Plenty to walk see and walk. We did not schedule enough time due to our itinerary but we are sure glad we made it here. Come early if you can as I think it is more tranquil and peaceful to explore as opposed to when bus loads to tourists come and jostle for photographs.

The park is pretty big. Free admission. There were a lot of homeless there which is why a star was removed. Maybe there can be a local shelter the homeless can go, so that it won’t dampen the peaceful image of the architecture and the waterfalls. Other than that, I think it’s a must see for any tourist. You can come and eat and enjoy the scenery.

I liked it very much! Super beautiful, I took a lot of photos! Quite a lot of people, but that didn't bother us much. Street musicians were playing, the sun was shining and the weather was pleasant. I advise you to come here if you are in Barcelona, ​​at least for beautiful photos :)

This is very beautiful park with clean sandy alleys. Palm trees everywhere and there is a lake full of ducks and geese, which are adorable. The Fontaine is the pearl of this park with its many details and impressive stairs to the top. We went there on Saturday evening and there was a Latin party - people dancing 💃 salsa and bachata. Amazing place.

Beautiful place for a walk with some very impressive buildings ! There are lil parakeets (I think) flying around which you can feed too. Lots of people relaxing and having picnics and drinks. Quite quiet. Perfect place to get away from all the business of the city

A must go in Barcelona! We loved the place. Many beautiful views and things to check if you like details. There’s a coffee if you need to buy something or use the table for your picnic. A group of people was having tango/salsa class. Don’t expect it to be a quiet boring place, it’s for all ages, but still a young vibe!

I found this park by accident while on a run and I was blown away. The park is absolutely beautiful. The fountain in the center is amazing and there are sculptures around as well as a little lake you can rent boats and paddle around on.

The park features a beautiful lake where we enjoyed rowing. Near to the park is one of the biggest Zoological Park, where we continued our walk. One of the most beautiful things which I saw was a elderly people were danced. In the par there a lot of other activities which we enjoyed. Recommend to came here in the week days, because at weekends is too crowded
