Very good pizzas and focaccia. Me and my friend ordered one pizza with shrimps and burrata and focaccia speciality and both of them were very good. The service was kind and they even gave us some very nice olives while we were waiting for the pizzas to come and one shot of limoncello in the end without extra charge. I would definitely go back again.

As a pizza lover I can tell you that this Maramaia is one of the best if not the one in Barcelona so far, and I tried so many that I was desperate to find a real taste of Italy. Not only the toppings are of great quality but the dough is fantastic. They are not cheap at all on the size and quantity. The owners are good fun and care about your opinion. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a good pizza.

Excellent authentic Italian pizza including some interesting if very different gourmet variations. It's a small restaurant with a small courtyard a little out of the way, and the drinks list is also basic but our wine was fine, but for us the service was authentic and genuine and the food just perfect, including the complimentary limoncello!

The pizza is very tasteful and the dough is crispy in right way. The tiramisu is very, very good. The staff is kind and attentive. If you are craving for a really good pizza, I strongly recommend Maramaia!!

We enjoyed this little restaurant so much we had to come back on our last night in Barcelona. Pizzas and salads were amazing, the service is great, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A true gem in the city!

First restaurant we ate at during four day stay in Barcelona. Was wonderful. Tried other highly rated restaurants that disappointed. Went back for our last dinner in town and enjoyed again so much. Your staff is so friendly and warm ..... We will carry back such great memories. We miss you Giovanni! If you ever make your way to Toronto,please allow us to take you and your wife (who also made our delicious tiramisu cake) for dinner!

Fantastic pizza and delicious sangria! We stopped in for dinner while staying nearby and will definitely return before leaving. The staff was attentive and kind. A shot of limoncello at the end of the meal is a nice touch!

This is an excellent pizzeria near Vila de Gracia with the most lovely service and enthusiastic owner. The food is exceptional. We were treated very kindly even though we did not have a reservation, and while we speak Spanish we noted that they helped many people in English as well. The pizzas with bureara were so delicious. The house wine was robust and flavorful and the tiramisu was loved by all.

Rare gem on this planet Earth. Totally authentic. Friendly and accepting atmosphere. You will feel at home. We returned the following day to dine again it was so good. Cuisine made with heart, soul and lots of amore, love. The sauces are cooked for at least 2 hours and full of flavor. If you’d like, let the chef Giovanni choose for you. Let him know if you crave pasta or pizza or/and a salad. Try an Aperol Spritz. Also the limincello is excellent. The tiramisu for dessert was yummy. If you are lucky you will find this place. If you are empathic, the energy is beautiful. ❤️❤️❤️ It was like no other experience we’ve ever had. The most memorable and we will miss eating here.

Very small on inside with some outdoor seating. Staff were nice & accommodating. Pizzas are large & feed 2. Good flavour, and made by hand Salad was also massive. House wine was good. Nothing not to like

An authentic Italian cafe in a cozy street in Gracia. Liked a lot of options on the menu (incl. vegetarian). The service is a bit disappointing. We had to wait 15 minutes to place an order during post-lunchtime (the place was therefore not very crowded), 15 more to get our coffee, and after 10-15 more pasta came. Pasta Bolognese tasted a bit bland and watery.

My husband and I went to Spain for our honeymoon, and while we were staying in Barcelona this was the BEST pizza we’ve ever had in our lives. Giovanni, who we believe is the owner, was making pizzas with the greatest smile on his face and a passion that’s hard to come by in the restaurant industry on late nights. Our experience was EXCEPTIONAL. As English speakers, their staff was so kind and friendly toward us despite any communication barriers and felt like they went the extra mile to make our time enjoyable. The pizza is mind blowing and the tiramisu is excellent as well. This spot is worth the night out no matter where you’re at or staying in Barcelona!

Certainly one of my favorites Italian restaurants in Barna, here you can find the authentic Italian flavor, great attention, amazing Olives (I just can return every day just for the olives) the main dish is absolutely amazing the famous 🍕, no complaints, not heavy, great flavor. Ask for the "Ana Maria" pizza and the gnocchi. I suspect that they have other dishes outside the chart, but they do not mention it (probably just for the Italian clients). Come on guys suggest any other dishes!

Amazing authentic Italian food!!! Pizzas are a good size (definitely not stingy!), full of flavour and reasonably priced. We also received complimentary olives and home made Limencello... which no joke was the best I've had 😃 Would definitely recommend.

Wow! Pizza was absolutely DELICIOUS. Dough was perfect and they were delicious with their toppings. Highly recommend the cheese board too and the carpaccio. Our server Gennarro made the experience great and Ariana was super friendly too!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! We found this restaurant so random. We attracted by the owner kindness and his great behavior. He is a pure Italian guy who treat you as you are an old friend. We found him a good hearted, fabulous person. ABOUT FOOD: It was absolutely great. We arrived at 00:30 and we had only 30 minutes to eat. He prepared the pizza so quickly an sooooo delicious. Amazing amazing amazing people and food.

The people running this place are so kind. You feel like you're in Italy. Tagliatelle was excellent! And tiramisu is a must! So happy this place is close to our house!
