I don’t have much experience of using petrol stations in Spain but the previous ones have all been serviced and the pump attendants incredibly helpful. Not here. After several attempts it transpired I needed to leave a credit card behind the counter before I could pump. Very strange and not something I liked doing. I think there must be friendlier petrol stations elsewhere.
