The place is humongous and the architecture of the place is really worth the unesco accredition. No photo or video can do justice to this place. You have to see it in person to understand the magnificence of this place. You can also hire a guide who can give more details about the church to help you understand the history of the monument.

The Morelia Cathedral is spectacular! DO not mess the lighting of the cathedral and firework show every Saturday at 9. It seems like all of Morelia gathers at the Cathedral on the weekends, its the family, couples, and single hangout spot. Plenty of different types of food and goodies.

An amazing architecture and peaceful cathedral. The size of the towers are the tallest in all American continent. A place to soothe your soul and balance your thoughts.

Incredibly immaculate Cathedral lined with gold! Lovely park just to the right of the church, great in the evening with lights, music, such a lively place.

The place was nice and our room had a beautiful view of the Cathedral. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the windows/doors are not soundproof, which I would have loved so that we could have slept a bit better. But overall it was a good experience.

Nice enough, I guess, just a pretty church, with cero depth or special interest; they won't allow you to take photos inside

The Cathedral is an absolute piece of art, and monument of the city. Stunning both inside and out, with beautiful pink stone outside and beautifully decorated inside. As well, on a practical note it provides directions to where you are, great places to eat close by and a place of free entertainment in the plaza. From clowns doing skits, to traditional dance of the viejitos to live music. Depending on the season you are up for something special. Every Saturday it little up and provides a brief history of the city and a display of fireworks and lights which highly recommend if you happen to be there on Saturday.

Pictures don't do it any justice! Magical in every sense of the word. Beautiful architecture and detail to all the paintings and sculptures.

Beautiful church. Expect a decent amount of foot traffic. The church is kept at minimum light, except for Mass and events. The restrooms are typically closed, and there is no public restroom near, so come ready if you plan to visit. Otherwise, very clean and well kept historic temple.ñ

There are fireworks every Saturday at 9pm in front of the Cathedral. The street is blocked around 8pm, and there is dancing on the street, very festive - 23/05/2022

Another beautiful church. Imagine the good that could be done if the money spent on such a structure were used in a different manner.

A beautiful construction, in the center of the state capital, surrounded by three beautiful squares, and near the cathedral, very good hotels and places to have a coffee or a good meal, accompanied by the majestic view of the cathedral.

Although it is a well designed building, there is a lack of wheelchair accessible entrances. I only found one leading into the main area. The attached gift shop sold several different kinds of religious items, but it lacked an accessable entrance and is cash only.

We went on a Tuesday and the cathedral was open, a few parishioners were present, wearing facemasks and someone was holding prayer service. It's an old structure that had been well kept. I think if I had gone on a Sunday there would be more people present and routine service would be held. I did see on the pewes signs that alternated seating to follow social distancing guidelines.

Sitio imperdible si visitas la capital Michoacana. Espectacular construcción en cantera rosa. Preferible visitarla un sábado por la tarde y aprovechar para ver el espectáculo de fuegos artificiales para el encendido de todas las luces exteriores.

I was surprised to see so many people praying and being very devoted to their faith. There are many interesting paintings and sacred pieces that take us back in time to imagine life inside that beautiful building. (Original) Una cátedral muy bella en toda la extensión de la palabra. No soy católico pero me gusta observar los detalles y los significados de las iglesias o centros religiosos. Me sorprendió ver a mucha gente rezando y siendo muy devota a su fe. The cathedral is illuminated all week, so the night photo in this place is mandatory since its pink quarry with the lighting is simple beautiful to pose with the couple, with the whole family or alone, no problem 😉 (Original) Todos los viernes a las 21:00 hrs la catedral de Morelia enciende los fuegos 🔥pirotécnicos, la calle principal se cierra y es muy posible tener un lugar en primera fila.
