Amazing views of Reforma and good exercise getting to the top. The place is stunning. Foreigners need to buy at ticket. 100 MXN and also you can’t bring water in to the place. They will stop you. It’s a great trip.

Really fun time with my toddler. My child enjoyed walking up all the stairs and the stained glass. She enjoyed the inside and especially the outdoor part! It was a little tough to navigate and if you don't know what to look for you might miss some things. But we had fun and easily spent a couple hours there. Not stroller friendly - they make you check the stroller at the front but something weird happened, we were told to leave the stroller there so I did but when we went to retrieve it they asked for a ticket but they never gave it to us. They let us take our stroller without much fuss but it didn't make me feel good because what if someone else took our stroller and they let them get away with it. Also there was no security to watch the stroller, the person at the kiosk isn't really paying attention. Leave at your own risk! Also to get up there isn't stroller or wheelchair friendly. Buying the tickets is up a few stairs and then the hike up to the castle is fairly steep and rough.

Very nice castle and museum. Beautiful architecture and pairings in a nice park. After entering the park, there is a 10 min walk to get to the castle. If you are a tourist, try to avoid going there on Sundays. On this day, the locals don’t pay to get in, so the place is packed. If you can, go on another day and there are smaller crowds. The view from up there is also really nice.

Attractive castle with scenic views of the city. My favorites were the preserved palace rooms and vistas which are farthest from the entrance. The other salons have a variety of history and naval displays. Allow time for the climb to the top of the hill.

Great experience for tourists, there was lots to see and learn! The castle is absolutely beautiful with lots of signage to read in English and Spanish. We went on a weekday in February and we didn’t wait in any lines, it also wasn’t too crowded. There’s lots of people selling snacks and water outside the castle.

Another must do activity when visiting this great city. Everything is awe inspiring and beautiful, the entire castle is mesmerizing. Hopefully you can visit on a good day with clear skies. Don’t forget sunscreen, lots of open space.

An amazing experience in CDMX. Was not expecting as much museum content as they had. It was so worth it to see more of the contextual history of the city. The view of the Paseo de Reforma from the gardens was beautiful. Bring walking shoes.

During my visit to Chapultepec Castle, I was impressed by the stunning views of Mexico City and the beautiful architecture blending Neoclassical and Baroque styles. The entrance fee for tourists is around 100 pesos, which I bought on-site. Despite not being a weekend, the castle was surprisingly busy, which made the experience a bit crowded. Inside, the National History Museum offered fascinating exhibits on Mexico’s past, including the Mexican Revolution and colonial history. The surrounding Chapultepec Park was a perfect place to relax after exploring. Overall, it was an educational and visually captivating experience.

We visited in February on a weekday and it was great. Not crowded at all. The place is amazing. You have to walk up a hill to get there, but it looked like there was an elevator if you needed it. Look at what's allowed to bring inside before you get there. No water bottles, etc. They do have bag check areas if you need it. So worth climbing the hill to see it. Very beautiful!

One of the most beautiful things I ever experienced. This castle is massive but I would like to share that it is accessibility friendly! You would think it isn’t but there’s no stairs to get to the entrance of the castle. It’s a huge ramp that wraps around the castle. Cash only to get the ticket though

Very beautiful castle with lots of historical pieces to see. It’s more of a museum with only one floor still showcasing how the rooms looked like before. Don’t miss out on the hallway with the stained glass on the second floor. The castle was quite busy but not many people were on the second floor.

Chapultepec Castle is a must-visit for any traveler to Mexico City. This beautiful and historic landmark offers stunning views of the city from its hilltop perch. The castle itself is steeped in history, having served as a residence for royalty, a military academy, and now a museum. The panoramic views of Mexico City are breathtaking. The castle and surrounding gardens are meticulously maintained. With an entrance fee of only 100 Mexican pesos, it's a budget-friendly option. The location offers opportunities for a leisurely walk or a more challenging hike. However, be prepared for crowds, especially during peak season. Many of the exhibits lack English descriptions, which can be frustrating for non-Spanish speakers. Despite the occasional crowds and lack of English signage, Chapultepec Castle is a truly remarkable place. Its historical significance, stunning views, and affordable entry make it a worthwhile destination for any visitor to Mexico City. I highly recommend visiting Chapultepec Castle. Allocate ample time to explore the grounds and soak in the atmosphere of this iconic landmark.

Amazing experience, great murals. I highly recommend hiring a guide to get the history and significance of the murals and pieces around. The history is so rich you will not regret hiring a guide. We booked our guide in advance but in case you don't, I did see there were some guides available for hire right before the entrance.

The screen at the ticket booth has both English and Spanish instructions, however, in the museum itself there are no english explanations. I feel this is a rip off.
