I have never had any bad experiencing ordering pizza from Dion's ever their food has always been really good until last night while I was putting the rest of what I have left in our box a battery was under my food and now it makes sense to me that your cashier would tell me to brace myself!! Im very disappointed in this restaurant and I probably will never eat there again! This is atthe Dion's 4980 Promenade Blvd Ste A Santa Fe NM87507

Normally I like Dions Pizza. We ate at the one in Sante Fe and it was not good. Pizza was not fully cooked and 3 slices had no cheese on them. Weird. We left over half the pizza. What a waste.

Really great local pizzeria. Their sub sandwiches are fantastic. With a one-of-a-kind crunchy crust on their Italian bread…you can’t beat it! Support our local eateries. Dion’s has great customer service too! They make your dining experience amazing.

Wow. Dion's is amazing. The Roast Beef sandwich was so good. The 505 pizza is spicy but yummy. They we fast and friendly. We took an entire Girl Scout troop for lunch and they were all happy.

We ordered online and arrived a few minutes early for pickup. The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful in getting us our order.

It’s frustrating to continue to wait 30+ minutes past the pick up time. I understand places are understaffed, stop quoting unrealistic wait times. Just say it’s going to take over an hour every time and people will be pleasantly surprised if they get their order early. Staff appears to be lackadaisical about their jobs.

I have always gotten good service her and the food im has always been good. But today’s sandwich was less than exceptional. Usually the sandwiches are loaded with protein but today I was served so little. I’m sure it was just an oversight but for a $10 sandwich I hadn’t had in a long while I was super disappointed.

We were the first ones in the door at 2pm. Saw many people get their orders before us. Over 30 minutes for one pizza. When I asked the counter, he said they must have “just forgot” to call our name out. And it had just been sitting there not even sliced yet. The pizza sucked, barely any sauce or toppings.

If you like eating a ghost of a pizza, this is your place to haunt. Pizza had practically no taste. Your memories of good pizzas past fill in the taste gap. The tomato sauce was so watery and thinly spread it's almost as if they didn't bother with the sauce at all. The strongest taste in this pizza was the melted cheese. It was also incredibly greasy, took several napkins to get the "sweatiness" off. This sad excuse for a pizza pie took 40 minutes to get ready. And it wasn't even clean in the restaurant. Hard to find a table that didn't have grease, crumbs, or other people's trash.

Normally the food is pretty good but to me this is unacceptable . Your prices are pretty high and I get a 10 inch sub with this tomatoe in it not acceptable at all!!!

First time I'd been there. Will definitely return. But will bring my pizza cutter since none of our pizzas were thoroughly cut. Other than that I loved it. Pizza was delicious. Salads were good and fresh. The gentleman cleaning the area was especially nice and helpful.

Visiting from nevada, Tuesday afternoon. Dined in for lunch, seemed moderately busy but not crazy. Order placed at 12:40 (receipt said 1pm it would be ready). Walked to counter at 1:10 to check, they said "sorry for wait", offered a free salad. Great. 1:45 my name is called. Pizza looked like it was thrown together last minute (maybe my order was lost initially?). Uneven dough/cheese, little to no sauce, dough undercooked in the thicker parts of the pie. It was just disappointing. My wife thought i should ask for a refund. But waiting for another 10 min to talk to someone? I basically said "why bother". I grew up in albuquerque and Dions was always a family favorite in the late 80s and early 90s. Perhaps this was just a fluke but it truly is surreal to dine at a pizza joint with 15+ workers and still feel like they're shorthanded.

Good pizza, absolutely horrible service. If you look at the reviews, you'll see a theme of poor service complaints. This was my first time and the kitchen and dining area were pure pandemonium. My pizza was lost and left to get cold and had to be remade. Another customer had been waiting 30 minutes for a sandwich, we both watched three sandwiches sit on the toasting cooling rack for over 15 minutes. I would suggest to the owner they work to solve management issues rather than suggesting unhappy customers email so you can "make it right". Sometimes more effort is required to solve a problem.

We stopped on the way home from a trip to Northern New Mexico and the food was good. I had a half Greek Salad. We were there around one o'clock and there was plenty of space to park and also to sit and socially distance. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant and served us quickly. The restaurant was clean. We had tried to go to a restaurant in the Santa Fe plaza area but it was crazy crowded with no place to park. I am glad we stopped at Dion's.

My first job was at this store and it was pretty good but I was bullied by the only female assistant manager right now. When she was an employee and she made me cry and want to quit that day. Then when she became assistant manager she would talk about me and other employees behind out back in Spanish and because I knew Spanish I could understand what she would say about me and my coworker friends. This took a big toll because I would go home and cry because of the words I heard.

My mother and I are from out of state and decided to give Dions a try. All the locals highly recommended it. I’m not sure why! Food was decent and I was helped by a very kind young lady. My mother and I ordered their basic salad and two turkey subs. The subs looked disgusting! The lettuce was brown and the sandwich its self was messy!! When my mother asked for the manager he was very disrespectful and stated “That’s just how our lettuce is” I don’t think I have ever seen BROWN lettuce!!! Well Daniel, the manager rolled his eyes at my 70 year old mother when she made him aware of the brown lettuce. When my poor mother told me what had happened I immediately went to the counter and spoke to the young lady who helped us, she apologized and offered to make us a new sandwich. I thanked her and let her know about the manager and how rude he was…. She apologized and said Daniel is a relatively new manager. I don’t want to give out this young ladies name because I don’t want her to get in trouble, especially if that’s how Daniel treats customers I can’t imagine how he treats the staff! Those poor workers are most likely miserable with someone like him running the store!!! We got some newly made sandwiches curtsy of that amazing young lady, no brown lettuce and looked very nice! Maybe Dions should really have more customer service training for their managers! Do better!!!

Who goes to a pizza joint for a sandwich?!? Well from now on, I DO!!! I tried place reluctantly on a recommendation of a coworker. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. I’d have to rate this as one of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten (I get the veggie). Going on my third day straight! I’ll try the pizza tomorrow. I’m told the way to go is by the slice!

Best deal for the food you get! Subs were amazing, large, and inexpensive and we couldn’t even eat the huge fruit cup that came with it so we ate it for breakfast the next morning!

Everyone loves Dion's including myself. The food is great. However, it's frustrating to pick up an order, get home, and things are missing. What is even more frustrating is that the staff is ok with sending out an order looking the way mine did today. Opened the box and was bummed out with a cold, soggy sandwich and no dressing.

It's nice to go to Dions, no matter what Dions you go to, the food is always the same.

Great pizza and nice atmosphere although the service was a little slow, but it was extremely busy.

I've eaten here many times. The pizza is on point! Never had a bad pie. Its my favorite pizza place in Santa Fe. The service is a little slow though if you're eating there. We always order ahead.

We pre ordered today and my order was still not ready when we arrived. We decided to dine in since we had to wait. After waiting for a long time I finally checked on our order that had been ready and just sitting there. Both of our pizzas were undercooked and not cut all the way through. I asked the manager to correct this and let me use the pizza cutter but he refused to let me use it. I didn't want to send my pizza back and he didn't even offer to come to my table and cut it. This is just one example of the poor service I have received at this store. Now I feel like writing this bad review and never returning to this location. All the other Dions are great but this one...

The food is fine but the employees are inadequately trained. Someone needs to train them on evenly cutting a pizza and spreading the toppings evenly. We had 3 or 4 pieces that had very little if any toppings. In the end we ate it all so mission accomplished.

Good customer service at the counter, pizza was hot , but the wait time could have been better. There were 3 customers in the dining room 2 which were already eating their lunch the other waiting . . I placed my order and was told about 20 minutes for my pizza . . It was around a 45 minute wait . . I don't mind the wait just give me a heads up that it may take longer.

Delicious cheese pizza with every bite! The crust is done just right to where you want to eat it all and not leave it in the box like discarded watermelon rinds. Highly recommend! Thanks guys! 🙏

Very disappointed the last time I went to have pizza there. Tables were dirty, waited for a salad for over 45 minutes the pizza showed up before the salad. There were so many flies in there that we decided to take our pizza home but the pizza was still good regardless that we never got our salads. A manager on duty seem like she was lost. Quite a few people still standing around twiddling their thumbs. I was not the only disappointed customer in that particular day. The young kid that was working the register said sorry like a hundred times and apologized for the service. 08/12/22

My family and I were driving through Santa Fe back to Albuquerque and stopped for what we thought would be a quick dinner. We love Dions and it is a staple in Albuquerque that we constantly go to. However, our experience at this one proved to be extremely disappointing. First, the wait. I couldn’t even keep track of how long it was. After a while I went to go check, but there was no one manning the counter where they put our orders. We noticed one of the guys making subs appear to be standing there, not knowing what he was doing, and was letting the toaster oven run without tending to it and letting them stack up against each other. And then the cleanliness. Looking at all the tables around us, including our own. All the napkin dispensers were completely empty. Tables were not cleaned. Trash receptacles were completely overflowing. People had to sit at tables that were not clean because no one bothered to clean them. Then we took our kids to the restroom and the lack of cleanliness there was just horrendous. There was literally puke on one of the toilets and it was just so unclean that you can tell it hadn’t been cleaned probably for hours. As we were leaving, we noticed other people getting angry and complaining about long wait times as well. This place is either run by incompetent people or as we noticed, the oldest person there was probably 16 years old. not bad in and of itself but in competent to say the least. won’t be going to a Dion’s in Santa Fe anytime soon.

My favorite New Mexican treat, everything is just good, staff is friendly, place clean and subs are the best!

The staff made celebrating my aunt's birthday so much fun! The two in the front, and the manager were so attentive and personable! The salads and pizza were great as usual, but the friendliness of the staff made us feel so special. Thanks to Dylan for running a very organized place of business, where employees seem to have fun while working hard.

My previous review was correct about several unmotivated employees standing idle behind the counter! And behold our order was corrected, so a reprieve review is in order. The food is still splendid, but honestly looking better to your public is imperative, so if your manager doesn't talk to you about hauling a hot SANITIZING BUCKET! Please do, and motivate your life to always do the best job because employers, bosses and occasionally the public recognize THOSE HARD WORKING ACTS! Thank you for working hard and pushing lazy staff from their pulpits!

I miss the team and everything especially the General manager who really cared after me and the team. Ruben and both Matt's were the best assistant managers that I have ever had. They looked after the team so much and I appreciated it a lot

Really fantastic pizza and I loved the drive-through. They were super efficient. Some poor girl (it was cold out) approached my car well before the drive through and get my name and what I ordered (I ordered online ahead of time) and by the time I got to the window, they just handed it out. Easy! And I got the Santorini/Greek pizza which was very good, lots of veggies.
