A
great
range
of
healthy
smoothies,
fresh
juices,
shots
and
plant
milk
lattes
(including
CBD)
sit
on
the
menu.
We
opted
for
the
hydrated
(£6)
made
up
of
mixed
berries,
coconut
water,
banana
and
rose
water.
Pretty
in
pink
and
super
refreshing,
it
was
not
too
heavy
on
the
rose
at
all
and
delivered
a
hydrating
hit
as
promised.
We
also
tried
the
ginger
kombucha
(£4)
which
was
lovely
and
sharp
and
served
elegantly
with
a
little
strawberry.
There
are
also
wine
and
champagne
options
should
you
be
feeling
the
need
for
something
a
little
stronger.
Dishes
range
from
heavenly
salads
and
healthy
bowls
to
tacos
and
burgers
with
chips.
They
are
all
plant
based
and
served
with
vegan
cheeses,
burgers
and
mayos!
We
tried
the
rainbow
bowl
(£10.50)
full
of
goodness
with
kale,
cherry
tomatoes,
cauli
couscous
with
pomegranate,
pumpkin
seeds,
squas,
lime
coconut
yogurt
which
acted
as
a
lovely
dressing
and
of
course,
avo.
The
bowl
was
colourful,
felt
saintly
to
eat
and
left
me
full
yet
incredibly
light.
In
the
name
of
balance
we
also
tried
the
Klassic
Kalifornia
Burger
(£13.50).
A
hefty
moving
mountains
b12
burger
with
smoked
Gouda
that
was
so
good
we
had
to
ask
if
it
was
actually
vegan!.
It
was
full
of
caramelised
onions,
pickled
red
cabbage,
romaine
lettuce,
tomato
&
KK
special
recipe
burger
sauce.
This
was
all
served
with
some
rather
delish
smoked
paprika
&
thyme
fries.
The
portions
were
generous
and
the
burger
was
a
good
option
for
veggies/vegans.
It
did
fall
apart
a
little
so
eating
with
knife
and
fork
is
recommended!
We
also
enjoyed
a
side
of
super
crunchy
cheesy
kale
chips
(£6),
beautifully
crisp
and
coated
in
cashew
cheese
they
were
so
very
moreish
and
a
real
fave.
With
cupcakes
on
display
and
the
dessert
menu
options
put
in
front
of
us,
trying
them
was
hard
to
resist.
We
opted
for
the
sticky
toffee
pudding
(£9)
served
with
ice
cream.
It
was
rich,
gooey
and
served
with
a
gorgeous
sticky
sauce
with
real
depth
of
flavour,
not
to
mention
beautifully
presented
with
edible
petals
(pink,
of
course).
We
could
not
believe
this
was
vegan!
The
raw
banoffee
tart
(£10)
with
a
raw
almond
base,
salted
date
caramel
&
fresh
banana
pie
served
with
ice
cream
was
our
second
option.
This
was
less
of
a
favourite
simply
due
to
the
base
being
far
too
hard
to
cut
through
but
the
flavours
were
still
good.
Kalifornia
Kitchen
is
a
super
pretty
vegan
restaurant
in
Bloomsbury
that
serves
food
that
tastes
as
good
as
it
looks.
We
loved
the
effort
that
has
gone
into
creating
dishes
that
are
every
bit
as
enjoyable
as
their
non
vegan
counterparts.
The
Instagrammable
nature
of
the
place
(yes
there
is
a
PINK
spiral
staircase
inside)
make
this
a
perfect
spot
for
a
catch
up
brunch/dinner
with
friends
or
for
taking
a
vegan
friend
who
wants
to
indulge
in
everything
from
cake
to
burgers
without
hesitation!
They
have
opened
in
Fulham
Market
Halls
too
so
perfect
if
you
are
based
West.
