This is a really nice botanical garden. I visit a lot of botanical gardens when I travel and this compares very well with some of the better gardens that I've seen. Even more impressive is that it is a university garden. It's nicely maintained with good labeling and signage. Signs are all in Spanish which was a challenge for my limited command of the language, but the garden is not intended for English speaking tourists. It's also nice just to get out into nature and away from the traffic and noise of the city. Ridiculously cheap (10 MXP) - if you are interested in the flora of Puebla, don't miss it.

It is a botanical garden derived from a scientific collection of plants that offers a very pleasant space to spend a moment of tranquility and coexistence with nature, as well as guided tours, workshops, cafeteria service, plant care, activities for children, on Saturdays. There is yoga class in the morning. Although the date changes in 2023, it will celebrate botanical gardens day on August 25.

Why is this place closed on the most important days of the week bizzare?

This is a very popular space inside the public university campus. A big garden where you can find all kinds of plants and trees, and some little animals. There's a small lake, with a floating stage for music concerts and other cultural events. A perfect combination of music, nature and arts.

Most spectacular assortment of happy healthy orchids, cactus, trees, that Puerto Vallarta has to offer. Enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the river where you will spot beautiful birds also. Can't miss the gift shop...tremendous Mexican assortment of any souvenir you can think of. A wonderful spot to spend the day.
