Super cool bookstore which also cafe/restaurant. 3 stories of book fun with puzzles and vinyl thrown in for good measure. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful plus they will spend time with you. Yes, there are books in English. This is our new happy spot in Roma with the bonus of live music during the day and interesting acts at night. We definitely need one of these in Houston. Highly recommend.

Loved our visit here! This place is such a charm throughout. The service was also extremely good, our server was kind, attentive and impressively fast. Can’t wait to visit again, such a beautiful place. Food was also tasty! Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed this bookstore. Their layout is interesting, got an open cafe/bar on the 2nd floor. Due to pandemic it is not possible to sit on the couches. You definitely can sit in the cafe area.

Perfect spot to breakfast and then linger to read a book/work on your laptop while you soak up the vibes. The chilaquiles with salsa verde are a must and I recommend dining/working on the second floor.

Great concept mixing a library, souvenir store with a cafeteria & forum, space is enough to stay some hours there, specially in the first floor. They have a terrace in the ground floor as well. Service is good and COVID control is appropriate. I recommend the desserts and coffee drinks, cheesecake with macadamia is huge, perfect for two people.

I love the idea of putting a restaurant and bar in a bookstore. There are several different levels to this place, including the open air bar at the very top (not technically a rooftop bar but honestly close enough). The service was great and the drinks were so good. I didn't try any of the food so I can't rate it.

I am beyond surprised by this place. There are 3 floors! The bottom floor has a cafe and restaurant. The middle floor has many more books and food/drinks can be ordered here. And the third floor is a roof top like bar! Really interesting library cafe/bar. Most books are in Spanish but there is an English book section as well. Most books are covered in wrap so don’t get your hopes up for grabbing your favorite book to open up and read :)

Rooftop cafe & bar attached to wonderful bookstore in the heart of Roma Norte. Large menu of food (light bites, sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts), coffee, and full bar. Good value, service and atmosphere. Happy hour (2x1 drinks) from 5-6 (weekdays).

Great food, free wifi, lots of different spaces to work on all the floors. Bar terrace at top floor can get a bit warm. Books and gifts are wrapped so what you buy is new and clean!

Cute & cozy spot perfect for digital nomads! The staff is really nice and attentive. I didn’t think the food was so special but I only tried the enchiladas. The coffee was great though!

Beautifully designed and decorated cafe and bookstore. All the books are wrapped in plastic, which is a bit odd and discourages browsing, but one can really relax in a nice atmosphere here.

Very cool place. Nice relaxing and comfortable environment, surrounded by books of all types. Many people sit and work there. Their hot chocolate, and coffee were very tasty. Highly recommended!

Great place for any time of the day. They offer a lot: a variety of seating across multiple levels, a surprisingly wide selection of food for a multi-functional establishment, coffee/tea, wine/beer, cocktails on the top floor, books (of course) - including a selection of English titles, assorted gift items, and relatively late operating hours. Power outlets and quiet atmosphere (background music is not blasted at full volume like it is at some establishments) make this a great place to work during the day, but it's also a good spot to chat with a friend. WiFi up/down approximately 4Mbps each; not the fastest, but I found it sufficient for meetings. Staff are patient and can be summoned for food service with a button. The book selection could be better, but as a whole, this place is great.

One of my favorite spot in Mexico City. This is a book shop, cafe & a restaurant altogether. I spent couple of hours here reading and enjoying some drinks. The staff were extremely nice and polite, they let me borrow books for reading while hanging at the cafe. Drinks are super good, the food looks pretty tasty too but only had a chance to try desserts. They have menu del dia (set menu), breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner. Lots of great options on their menu. Friendly for vegetarians & vegan as well as intolerant for dairy products, gluten free I highly recommended this place for an afternoon tea or light meal.

A bookstore with restaurant seating on the first floor, cafe seating on the second floor, and a bar on the third floor. It’s a chill vibe with friendly staff. The food is ok but with large portions. The chilaquiles was my favorite. I’d want to check out the third floor bar when they have events.

This cafebreria has 3 floors - the first two floors are the bookstore and the top floor has a bar and event space. You can get cafe service on any of the floors at this location. The majority of the books in the store are in Spanish but they have a decent sized English book section too. 📚

This library is a must see and is located in a trendy district! Has a very large and great selection of books, Spanish and English. The roof top cafe has a nice view and the staff is quite friendly. There are other fun items to buy such as a lucha bottle opener, puzzles, tea infusers, etc ..

my brother enjoyed his mocha frio and i enjoyed the cappuccino. the carousel egg dish was yummy and healthy and the arrachera chilaquiles w mole sauce was flavorful and great as well. i ordered a side of potatoes thinking they'd be breakfast potatoes but they were just fries so we didn't eat those. we also bought a few books. they have an extensive english book section.

A place steeped in culture, the staff and the service are excellent. Great coffee, nice cuisine, all accompanied by the music of 2 extraordinary musicians

This is a recommended place that tourists should definitely try. They have an amazing book store intertwined with the cafe. However, they have limited vegan options. We tried their omelettes and both were really good. We ordered grape juice and mango smoothie but were served carrot and orange juice. Apart from this service was really good and amazing hospitality

This was the best place we found to eat and drink in Mexico City… even though it’s not officially a restaurant. The food is good, drinks are good, prices very decent and friendly, efficient wait staff. (Just be careful, if you’re sitting in the terrace area, of little pickpockets from the street. Don’t leave your phone on the table.)

Amazing place! Service is incredible, atmosphere is amazing, prices are fair and the book selection is awesome. It's an incredible place to work as well. It's a well oiled machine here. You can tell they've dialed in what they are good at here and execute exceptionally. I do have one complaint though. They're not yet in Los Angeles 🤣. The state of our bookstores are abysmal these days and we can learn a lot from a business like this.

Watched KekoyomA at their stage upstairs. Great deal with the ticket of 2 for 1 drinks. Super fun environment. Seems like they have a lot of options for books but I only got a lucha doll. Highly recommend.

Ate a few breakfasts here during a trip to Mexico City. Good food but small staff, so will be slow service if busy. Still recommended.

This is a must visit cafe when you are in Mexico city. The food is delicious and the desserts are amazing. Try the freshly baked cupcake, you’ll love it. And the book store is brilliant, lots of books and collectibles. They also sell records of old classic albums. Sit at the rooftop and enjoy a hot coffee with a beautiful view!

I’ve been to the same place in Condesa and this was as beautiful! Very quiet and peaceful in the morning. We had food and drinks. Studied here for four hours with no issues. Strong wifi! They have English menu if you ask!

Great place to chill out eat or drink. I ordered frape and it wasn't so good as I expected. It had many small crushed ice. Not possible to drink. I had to wait for it to melt to be able to drink my coffee.

Great to read a book while sipping your coffee. Go the middle floor. It's a library mixed with books to buy (or bring your own book and read). Also tabled for working. Service: super slow, so have patience.

Exciting and well located. There are seating places for coffee and drink on all floors. Book selection is good

Such a cool space! I absolutely loved the ambiance and food! Highly recommend their egg dishes! I was a little disappointed that there were so few coffee options to choose from. However, the cappuccino I had was great!

The service was really slow. They made us order food to be able to have a beer, which is understandable, but then the food we ordered (mozzarella sticks) took over 40 minutes to arrive. When they arrived, they were clearly undercooked and were soaking in oil, I think the person working the fryer must have been new. The Kafkafé (coffee cocktail) was delicious, though

Pretty cool place, three ambients, restaurant on the first one,.cafe on the second, bar on the roof; food is good average and they manage to have events in another room while being a bookstore; yet it's sin is trying too much in many areas so they don't excell in none of them; cafe and bar is a good option to go for, food aromas on the first floor are not cool if you want to just buy a book, and as well in consequence everything is too crammed

  • 5/5 Jaime M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice place, their menu is quite extensive, you can find any food and drinks. If you are looking for a place to work/study and eat, this is great place.

Cool place, great ambiance, ok prices. In case u want alcohol u need to buy food with it, but the menu is also ok. Nice service too. Just remember, this place has 3 floors, and each has a different ambiance. Overall a good place.
