Le Pain Quotidien

Cafe

😠 Waited for about 40 minutes for Mozzarella on bread which was meant to be toasted but came out cold. We sent it back and paid for the drink we ordered and also got short changed. Wouldn’t recommend. People often mention service,

Nice location, friendly staff, the outside seating allows for leisurely relaxation and people watching. Unfortunately the outside dining area is limited.

Amazing coffee place for a quite and romantic afternoon, either on the Terrance or inside. Great place to go after walking around San angel.

The food and coffee are good. The service tho needs way more training before going to the floor. Not even proper little notebooks to take the orders. The hostess tried to help but she didn’t do it right either. I had a problem with my food and (without making a fuzz) sent it back and ask for a manager. Nobody came back to talk to me. When the check came my food was still included (I barely touched the plate and I sent it back hoping to get a new one). Anyway at the end they weren’t rude it’s just a lack of training or something. Go knowing it that it could be a slow service. Again, nice coffee, food, and bake goods.

Nice plate presentation and the omelette I ordered was really tasty, as well the lemonade. Bread not so fresh as expected.

It's just like the ones in Belgium! It just feels more Mexican, and there are no offers for breakfasts, but it felt like home for a second!

Great atmosphere, a good place to have sunday brunch. The bacon and egg waffle was good. Nothing superb about it. The coffee cups could have a handle so I dont burn my hand. The waitstaff is a bit slow and forgot and various occasions to bring requested items. If Im in the area, I wouldnt mind going back.

The service is incredibly slow. It took them 10min to give me a coffee and an already made sweer to go. The quality of the food is really really good but it's not worth waiting an eternity for it

👍 This cafe is really cool. I dont know why its so famous but the coffee is served fast and is good quality while being affordable. Theres a cool churro shop around the corner too which you can grab churros from to complement your coffee. They also have pastries but I prefer fresh churros
