Went for Zaha Hadid temporary exposition. Loved the space, the big rooms and the entire area. Ideal for spending a few hours with family and even kids. There is a section for coloring and activities dedicated to them. The entrance to the museum is cash only. There is even a buffet restaurant if you get hungry. Easy to get there with the car, parking is nearby.

This Incredibly inspiring cultural center offered more than I imagined. Knowledgeable staff. Totally affordable. I was in awe throughout the Aei Wei Wei, Jan Hendrix & Melanie Smith show. I could stay there all day and never be bored. I can’t wait to go back. Exciting gift store.

Interesting museum, not very big and with godo art pieces. Overall, I felt that all the art pieces were a bit too overcrowded and hard to focus on a single piece. Suggestion is to place fewer pieces but with a better exposition. Overall a museum to be seen kn Mexico city.

We visited the cafe rather than the museum. Efficient service, but very expensive pastries and hot chocolate given the size. We paid our bill, but the lady gave it back telling us service wasn’t included (we had a drink and pastry, not even breakfast). First time we’ve had that happen in Mexico - if you are happy to pay for it, it’s a nice place, but overpriced for two tiny pastries.

One of my favorite museums of CDMX for contemporary art. The building itself it’s worth going for, but also the exhibitions are usually very well curated and interesting.

A great museum for up and coming artists with unconventional and unique styles and personalities. A bit of a drive from the heart of CDMX but worth every bit. The architecture of the museum itself is amazing especially with how they've built it together with its surroundings.

This is an amazing museum for contemporary art. The price is really cheap. And there are many different exhibitions going on. Although some rooms was closed. They where setting new exhibitions. The current exhibitions where very good. Specially the one about protests and the people who “disappeared “ during this period. There is an installation in the shape of a hut or a house. But with inclination, it is really awesome. The museum is very well designed and has various spaces that daylight comes in. The museum shop has a good selection of items and the restaurant is very nice. Specially the patio side. This in of the museums in the city that one should really visit. Metro 3 stop University. (Last stop). And in university city the buses are for free. So you can hop on.

Large, very interesting art gallery with many special/temporary exhibits. There appears to be a nice restaurant inside, however I did not get to make use of that.

Very decent and professional Museum. Exhibited very nicely and had good curatorial quality. 1/2 price on Sunday but would have been very affordable with full price. Only thing to complain is the distance from central area, but totally worth the trip!

Great building. Unsure how we feel about the expositions that they had at the time. Looking forward to when they fully reopen to go back and visit again.

an excellent museum where the best of contemporary art is exhibited, it has an artistic sound room, novel sculptures, a restaurant, parking lot and the best art books.

  • 5/5 Sayuri Alvarado T. 4 years ago on Google
Thoughtful exhibitions by international contemporary artists, usually they prepare 2 or 3 per season, so you can stay at least 2. 5 hours in the visit. You can also enjoy a meal in the cafeteria and buy interesting books and magazines in the store. After the museum you can have a walk in the sorroundings. This visit can make your if your intetest is in contemporary art and culture.

Not worth the hype. If you have only a week or so in Mexico city, not a priority

  • 5/5 Emilio Suarez (. 4 years ago on Google
The architecture itself is a piece of art by Teodoro González de León. If you like contemporary art this the place. Extraordinary exhibits. The restaurant below is not expensive and offers a very Mexican variety

  • 2/5 Carlos P. 4 years ago on Google
The quality of the works is minimal. I think the best part is the museum's architecture. Espacio escultórico is close by and merits a visit.

By far my favourite museum in Mexico City. You can definitely tell the curator here is a pro at his/her job. All the rooms and different artists a well displayed and you get a great sense every time you love from one room to the other.

The museum is like a maze and I really liked that about it. Its ver modern and has all types of contemporary art and exhibits for a great price. Its not very accessible as its far from the city center, but its very worth it if you are nearby.

Museum is sleek, minimal, stark white. There were a lot of videos playing, I wish there were more installations and physical art to look at.

A beautiful museum that feels like it’s in a completely different place than Mexico City. Nice university campus to walk around after visiting the exhibits! Even with a few exhibits closed/still in preparation while I visited, it was a good experience.

The MUAC is one of the best museums in Mexico City in my opinion - which says a lot because this city is full of great museums. A trip down into the south of the city for this unique university experience is well worth it.

Wonderful and inspiring! If you can get there. You’d think in the 15 years since it opened they could have some directional signs on the campus. Uber driver couldn’t find it. I gave them another chance and they deserved it. But here’s how to get there on the bus for 45 cents. Take MetroBus line 1 in the direction of Caminero get off at Centro Culture Universitaro and walk 5 minutes to the museum Wonderful and inspiring! If you can get there. You’d think in the 15 years since it opened they could have some directional signs on the campus. Uber driver couldn’t find it. If you take a cab/Uber have the EXACT address. I gave them another chance and the deserved it. But here’s how to get there on the bus. Take the Metro Bus line 1 towards Cominero and get off at Centro Culturo Universitaro. Take the pedestrian overpass and follow it and the path to the museum. No Signs you’ll see it. This trip is about an hour and 35 cents.

Lucky me at 73, I decided to go one day and took me at least an hour to get there, but I made it by bus and metro, walking up and down but I finally arrived via the free buses on campus. And then to my surprise they had only changed the Exhibit 2 days before. It was so fantastic, whenever I’m in Mexico I’ll always return.

The Francis Alÿs exhibition is interesting. Children around the world playing with whatever they find to hand. No adults or mobile phones. They have to determine the rules and sort out disagreements without grown-up interference. This promotes autonomy, self-confidence and resilience. Excellent choice of exhibition.
