People often mention Leonora, bookstore, cultural,

An impressive place. I want to tell you that the staff who work here are super accessible. The house very clean. Exhibitions like Leonora Carrington's are excellent because they don't talk about her paintings as such, rather they focus on her. Place of the first printing press and a beautiful archaeological piece (A Head of September). A family visit is highly recommended.

Exquisite architecture, an icon of Mexico City. As its name says, "home of the first printing press in America." It is impressive and beautiful. Now it is a "Continuing education center" Universidad Autonoma Meteopolitana". It has an exquisite bookstore. An extraordinary and rich collection. In the first level part it has exhibitions and/or activities. The closest metro is Zocalo/Tenochtitlan. Open only Monday to Friday. Recommended ❤❤❤

Little-known cultural center with an academic bookstore. The space is small but cozy. Exhibition halls and a small movie theater

More than a museum, it is a cultural space where workshops, exhibitions, activities and much more are held. The staff is very friendly and any questions or concerns you have, they will gladly answer them.

A small place with great wealth. Starting with its architecture that filters light into a central atrium, the wooden ceiling and railing and the wrought iron stairs are the perfect frame for an exhibition like this: Leonora Carrington Experience In its three exhibition rooms you will find a chronology of his life vs the most relevant events of his time. Video projection of some pictorial pieces that come to life with music, in the style of the latest “experiences”. Keeping proportions, it seems to me that it achieves its objective: giving life to the artist's thoughts. This exhibition does not have a virtual reality room but it has something better: original work, elements from which it was nourished, its concerns and anecdotes. The origin of his surrealism. It will be on display until June 20, 2020.

(Translated by Google) Good place to visit, learn a little more about the history of this emblematic house of studies and of Mexico City. There is always a little time left over when you go to the center to see what's new on this site. It is constantly updated and seeks to always give the best attention to the public.

(Translated by Google) It is a mansion that you can admire from its construction and architecture. A reproduction of the first printing press in America and a sculpture of the Feathered Serpent in an excellent state of conservation are very accessible. The latter was found on this site. You will also find a UAM bookstore with publications from said University. Its services and events are very interesting.
