We are visiting from Canada and had a great time here. Our girls really loved it. There are so many stations where kids can build and learn things. Even paper rockets with a rocket launcher. It goes really high! Must have been 15-20 metres up. Nicest part was they had some staff that spoke English and they were very very helpful. An employee named Alexandra was so kind. Came to 4-5 different stations with us to translate. While our girls were shy, it was amazing to see this. Thank you!

Phenomenal place for kids. Visited after a busy day at another museum in the park. So many opportunities for hands-on play. Kids were happy to be able to touch and play with all the exhibits. The slide was the favorite. You need at least 4 hours to enjoy everything but really should plan to spend the whole day in order to take advantage of all the exhibits without rushing. There was fast food and snacks on site so you don't have to travel far to eat. Most staff spoke some English. Recommend visiting during the week.

We loved it here we couldn’t do everything because our Spanish is limited. Our favourite part was seeing the axolotls. My daughter is 11.

(Translated by Google) The best place to take is your nephew, your son, brother whatever, they will love it is a very good museum, quite interactive and can be learned through play, it is one of the places that have really marked my life with good experiences. The place is nice the location makes it even better and beyond all that, this place is fantastic to have a good time while you learn. This place is really fun, almost as much for adults as for kids. There are tons of activities to do, and all the ones I've done have been well organized, entertaining, and instructive all at once. We were there about 3 and a half hours, and we could have stayed for another 2 hours easily. I especially recommend the bubbles and the paper rocket areas, but all the areas are fun.

Love this place for our kids - from our 1 year old who can roam around downstairs, to our 7 and 8 year olds who can spend hours upstairs doing projects like making rockets and ufos out of paper, to little wooden art with drills, to connecting and learning about circuits, it’s got so much even with a few things having been taken out with the pandemic. We’ve got an annual pass and will go often

Excellent place to come and spent time with the family, the Museum is made for kids but is family friendly, there are a lot pf activities for kids and adults, also there are a lot of places to eat and prices aren’t too high so you can have a good time in here.

This is a children's museum in the Central Park of Mexico City. Many activities for kids to enjoy. Highly recommended for those that need to drain some energy. This place was larger than any children's museum I had visited previously with Niko or the girls. Lots of walking, lots of sitting. Needed more snack areas but it had an overall healthy vibe.

This is a great place to visit. It’s a large well designed museum with lots of interactive displays and activities that kids of all ages will enjoy. The museum does a great job separating the spaces to ensure they are age appropriate. They cover many science disciplines. For those who don’t speak Spanish, you can still visit and enjoy. There are a limited number of English speaking staff but you will lose the ability to experience the cool science experiences.

100 percent interactive, an amazing place for children all ages starting at age 2. People are helpful and knowledgeable of everything in the museum. It has many wings and different subjects where kids can learn. It also has an IMAX screen with different movies and a nice food court. Best children's museum I've ever been.

This is a great kid's museum. Our five year old had a great time and enjoyed it more than the nearby zoo. The staff were so friendly and lots of them spoke English.

Wow, probably the best kids museum we've ever visited. It was totally nuts during Semana Santa but even having to wait to stand in line probably worth it. Great exhibits and really great operations by the staff.

Even though not all of the activities were open it was still a lot of fun to wander around with the kids. A favourite of always is the bubble interaction and playing with stop motion animation, the axolotl display was also a firme fav. In all it was a fun day for everyone

If you catch it when adults are allowed to go alone, it's huge, huge amounts of fun. I've never taken kids there, but I'm sure that would be great. The staff are extremely friendly, the activities are fantastic and the dome movie was super. Also, great ice cream. They really make efforts to be bilingual.

My size year old enjoyed it. Many of the activities are organized however so if you have a child that doesn't know Spanish, it could be difficult. The staff is friendly to help though. Many of the activities are also for 3-5 so it seemed a bit limiting for older children. Lots of the booths were closed during my visit. It's not really the kind of place you can just let your kids roam freely. Food options are just junk fast food.

We've been to a lot of kids museums in the last several years, and I can say confidently this is the best for a variety of activities, ages, topics, spaces. There is little in English so you'll need someone in your group who can get by en Español but you can make do without that if you talk to guides with English. Highlights: 4 story play structure, bubble play, ants garden. Other kids loved the play hospital, grocery, veterinarian, chemistry lab. If the kid was older, I'd have loved to do the wood engraving and drilling activity.

Horrible , long long waiting periods to get to do something , activities are so slow kids get discouraged and bored, can’t believe they cant make things better to get kids to do this activities , lack of planing make this place expensive and your time gets wasted just waiting in long long lines . Better things to do in Mexico City .

Our kids, 5 and 8, spent hours here and we didn't even get to do everything. Highly recommend planning a visit if you're in Mexico City with kids. There's a giant play structure, pretend supermarket, outdoor garden space, exhibit on the five senses, axolotls, a giant marble run, a race car track, 3-d printing lab and so much more!

  • 5/5 George M. 4 years ago on Google
Highly recommended for families. The place is fun for kids and adults due to a good combination of visuals and activities. Lines can be long but the staff keeps you engaged. You can easily spend 3-5 hours here depending on your speed and what you want to see.

Exelent for my two year old, very play safe in door and out. Helpful and kind staff. Very cool museum for kiddo's.

  • 1/5 M R. 4 years ago on Google
Disappointing. The kids were bored - various displays didn’t work properly and there were Way Too Many displays dependant on screens instead of analog/hands on creative information - that was the aspect that quickly bored our kids. The craft stuff upstairs was the highlight. The other huge fail was the “food” court - where the only offerings are junk food chains (McD’s, KFC, etcetera). Not what one wants to feed growing bodies! But the kids were hungry and we ran out of healthy snacks - so we had to leave as there aren’t other food options nearby.

(Translated by Google) I put this rating since I went to this new reopening due to the pandemic, the number of people was low but what I noticed is that there was no control of people if they had the mask on correctly and there were areas of the museum that were not even a single distance control, people on top and children very close. Rocket activity example. In the Baylab they lend some lenses for use in an experiment but they do not see cleaning of them after it has been used by someone, where is the sanitization? I think it was a mistake to go be careful if you go.

Amazing museum in the heart of Mexico City. My kids love it. We spent all day there because there is a Mega IMAX screen which plays two different documentaries and a Planetarium as well. So many exhibitions to choose from and kids can touch everything which is the way they really learn. This is a real interactive museum. Money very well spent.

Really incredible. Our kids don't speak Spanish, so we expected that some (maybe a lot) of the museum would just not be accessible to them. However, one of the "cuates" spoke English and made it her personal goal to help our kids have a full experience. Over and above what was expected. The girls loved the museum. There is still plenty for kids to do even if language is a barrier.

Prices are really low and specialty if you do it online you get 50% off, just remember you cannot buy an online ticket for the same day, you have to go the next day. Lots of things to do. You can stay all day there if you want or just a couple of hours if you don’t have enough time, it will be worth it. The food is awesome, specially the Mexican restaurant inside. The prices are really low, you can feed 3 people with 300-400 pesos for sure, around 20 dollars. The dome is something you must watch as well. From there you can walk to Los pinos which is across the bridge, and from there you can go to el Castillo de Chapultepec which is awesome too. Lots of things to do around that area.

Our 2.5 year old loved it here, and so did we. It's huge, and there are so many different kinds of engaging, hands-on activities!

Set within the park, the children's museum was recommended to us by Mexican friends with children 6-9 years old. Our 9 year old daughter enjoyed the experience (a nice change in focus from our other city exploration). Our 9 year old enjoyed the imagination area (especially the rocket making). Overall this experience was positive for all of the family

I recently visited Papalote Museo Del Nino in Mexico City and was truly amazed by the vast array of activities and exhibits that they had to offer. The space is incredibly impressive and provides something for children of all ages, even adults. I was able to explore interactive science experiments, as well as fun and educational art projects. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, allowing us to have a wonderful experience. I particularly enjoyed the planetarium show which was extremely fascinating and full of interesting facts about space and astronomy. The museum also has a variety of other attractions such as an animal exhibition with live animals from around the world, a virtual reality area where visitors can explore different virtual worlds, a 3D theatre experience, outdoor gardens, playgrounds, restaurants and cafes. Overall it’s hard to find another place like this one in Mexico City; an incredible place that offers entertainment as well as knowledge for everyone! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exciting experience for their kids (and even themselves)!

THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO! Our girls 6&2 had an awesome time. We couldn’t possibly get through all of it. The attendants were awesome and it was a super fun space!

We're from the US and we took our kids here while visiting relatives in the Mexico City area. This place was huge and event somewhat overwhelming. I think we spent maybe 7+ hours here and the kids still weren't able to do everything. It was vastly larger than the many places we've visited in the US where the kids could get through the entire place in a couple of hours. Plus when my daughter was jumping around and got a small cut, a nurse was available immediately to take care of it which was nice. The one caution I'd give is that on the weekday we were there the museum was filled with large school groups during the day, and then they all seemed to leave around 2-3pm. So from 3-6 is when the museum isn't so packed and much nicer for the kids. Make sure to plan to be there during those hours.

I think it’s good for kids but you have to spend a whole day there so your kid can actually be in the workshops.

I love this place! It's different every time. As your kid changes and grows, there is always something new to see. We love it!

A “must-add” if you are travelling to Mexico City with kids. This science centre is bigger than any I’ve seen but what I liked most is the engaging staff who sat with the kids to teach them during the lessons. Rather than having the museum more hands off and letting kids bounce around , you have the option to attend mini Classes to learn !! For example: my kids attended a science lab where we learned about boats and water density /resistance , electronics and they were able to wire an battery to make a light switch on and off. Their favourite activity was the animation desk where they created their own still life movie !!! We spent 4 hours and will be going back to see the areas that we missed and Want to see again. Plenty of restaurants at the facility and so many bathrooms easy to attend with kids . After visiting the museum walk outside to the left of entrance there is a little concrete path where you will see concrete art sculptures leading to a skate park. A full day activity.

My 2 year old loved it. We went on a Sunday, and the place did not feel crowded at all. The staff were very helpful, and indulgent with my very basic Spanish. I can see it being fun for even much older kids, with a robotics studio and 3D printers on the top floor. Highly recommend!
