Beautiful grounds and architecture. Unfortunately some of the galleries were closed. Very helpful and friendly staffed attempted to educate me, even with my very limited espanol (10 words or less). I was hoping to see some Mo 8 reale coins, which I didnt. But at the end of it all I'm really glad I went...this was the last thing I did for this trip, then raced to the aeropuerto.

The best part of this museum is all the original equipment used in the past to produce the coins, also a great gift shop where you can acquire high quality gifts, or commemorative coins.

An incredible museum. The best numismatic museum I’ve visited so far in LATAM. Great tour with so much information to learn and read. They even demonstrate some of the machines and the staff (thanks Ricardo) are so knowledgeable and patient in giving a tour.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. I had been wanting to visit for a while but every time I went by it seemed closed. It usually isn’t. You have to knock on the large metal door and there are wonderful people to greet you. I was given a tour by Paula who was very helpful in accommodating my poor Spanish. She was very knowledgeable and explained mechanical terms in English. I will definitely return to this gem. You won’t find anything like it.

Unfortunately I couldn't finish the tour because I felt bad, but the attention from the staff was very good. I will definitely return.
