Free with your metro entrance, despite being small it has an itinerary exhibit, archaeological pieces, a huge collection of tickets, historic memorabilia, an extensive explanation of the design involved, and a cool store (cash only).

If you want to know about how the subway in Mexico city has changed through the years since it was running for the first time you may get something about it here.

Great free museum in Mixcoac, you even get to enter through metro turnstiles, it really only focuses on the history of the first three lines, but does give you an idea of how much the metro system has shaped chilango identity through out the last 70 years.
