Such a great museum. The upgrades are noticeable, and I would dare say they could compete with many US museums. Much if the grounds, including several exhibits, are being upgraded and are therefore closed, but what is open is amazing. Highly recommend it for kids, and adults will definitely be entertained.

(Translated by Google) Well, it is a very entertaining place for the whole family. There is a section dedicated to dinosaurs (although there are not so many), and for that mere fact, it is worth visiting. It is not very big and it is easy to cover it in an hour. The people who work here are very friendly. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this incredible museum?✌ (Original) Pues es un lugar muy entretenido para toda la familia.

A very nice museum but, unfortunately with many spaces closed. 34 pesos entramce worth the visit. The first phase of the museum is very interesting with all the phases of species history on earth.

This museum does not look like much on the outside but the displays inside were very impressive and even things like the lighting, sound and design of layout was very first-rate. Cost was very low, only 28 pesos for adults and 13 pesos for kids, so very affordable and enjoyable. I also noted that the display information in the "evolucion Humana" room was up-to-date with the most current science and literature on human evolution which was great to see.

Excellent museum with clear explanations about it's subject. It was recently renovated and now it has different approaches to the information, which I find very useful. It is also very attractive for young explorers. Now you can find information both in Spanish and in English, although not everything is translated. I can't wait to see the space section renovated as well. But the dinosaur is pretty impressive.

Well worth visiting! Has a great selection of displays, including natural history, earth and space, the fossil record, and human history too. Lots of kids if you go on weekends. But definitely good for kids of all ages! I really enjoyed the fossils. Can be a bit difficult if you don't speak Spanish, but still enjoyable.

(Translated by Google) The museum has 2 vaults in which they explain the evolution of man and animals, showing us the biodiversity of Mexico and how natural life adapts according to the climate. The fascinating thing about the place is that they play with sounds, models that imitate the fauna and flora of Mexico and fossils that make us feel in the places they recreate. Explained tours can be made if requested in advance, also on the museum page they show their calendar of activities, workshops, talks or theater for children. Se pueden hacer recorridos explicados si se pide por adelantado, además en la página del museo muestran su calendario de actividades, talleres, platicas o teatro para los niños.

Great place to learn about natural history and biodiversity across Mexico's landscapes. Especially liked the interpretive on climate change the the 6 mass extinctions - beautifully illustrated. Only 3 exhibits were open when I visited, so there's a good amount of time to process all the information (not overwhelming like many other such museums) 👍

After its renovation, the order of the exhibitions improved. The museum looks really tidy and well-preserved. It will take about 2 hours to look all the museum, several activities are offered during the week, so its a good idea to visit the museum official page prior your visit. There are several parking lots around the museum.

I LOVED this museum. Great for adults, great for kids. Next time I'm in Mexico City I will try to go again, I didn't have enough time first time around. It isn't huge, but I was short on time

Nice and informative. Interesting for children and the adults accompanying them. We had a few short lectures in Spanish, explaining different subjects to the children, and they were fascinating. I thought all the exhibitions were open, after reading there were renovations about a year ago, but they are still renovating. All in all, a nice experience.

This place is under construction, but do not let that fool you. This place is incredible! You can walk in circles and see new things that you missed. I cannot wait until this place is fully opened. We purchased our tickets from the Cárcamo de Dolores. And they told us that we could go into the Natural History Museum with our purchased tickets. Check out Diego Rivera mural. It is fascinating.

Too many kids around! 😅 The museum’s architecture design is interesting, but after the pandemic, they’ve decided to block different accesses which has made it really restrictive and not fun at all. It seems the museum could use some maintenance now that it’s opened to the public again! The area around the museum’s dope! The lake is great and bike lanes and parks everywhere! Metro Constituyentes nearby!

(Translated by Google) The Natural History Museum is a natural history museum located in Mexico City. It is located in the second section of the Chapultepec Forest. Through its exhibited specimens, the museum aims to offer its visitors a summary of the history of the universe, of Earth and of the human being. It was originally founded in 1790 as a natural history cabinet (at that time the curiosity cabinets were the precedent of the current museums). Later, and at certain specific moments in its history, both its name and its location have changed. For example, from 1909 to 1964 it was called the "National Museum of Natural History", but in 1964 it was officially renamed the "Museum of Natural History", a name that it has kept to this day (Original) El Museo de Historia Natural es un museo de historia natural situado en la Ciudad de México.

This museum is worth a visit if you are interested in natural history. The exhibitions are outdated and unfortunately the dinosaur hall was closed during my visit (the reason why i wanted to see this museum). I enjoyed the unusual architecture and gardens. Also there is no real museum shop with further information.

What a remarkable museum. Showcasing the basilica sciences of natural history in a colorful and vibrant setting. The information presented was educational without being too technical and boring. The day I went it wasn’t too crowded. There were some groups of students there on a school trip and they also seemed to be enjoying the exhibits. The property outside was wonderful as well. There were beautiful trees and flora surrounding the grounds and an endless array of birds singing and beautiful butterflies searching for nectar. The museum only had one pavilion open as they are renovating additional buildings. The construction was done in such a way as to not interfere with the experience of a visit. I would highly recommend a visit to this museum which is located in the expansive and beautiful Chapultepec Park. The park itself is worth a visit as well as the zoo and other museums located there.

Bought tickets to enter the Museo de Agua nearby with the Diego Rivera mural and it included entrance to the natural history museum. Visiting from the US and hadn’t planned on going to this museum, but walked over just because. It was confusing to navigate once inside the museum compound and there was not much open. Included taxidermy and geographical history of the region. Well curated and laid out, but definitely just a regional level interest and no signs in English.

The Natural History Museum of Mexico was recently renovated. Its exhibitions vary from the origins of our planet and of life itself, all the way to the current biodiversity in the country. The ticket gives you access to the Carcamo de Dolores, where you can see a mural by Diego Rivera on the origins of life.
