Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías - MUPyP

Local history museum

🫤 I would not recommend going to the museum as most of the information is not very indepth and you don't learn more than reading the Wikipedia entry. The pulque was okay. Rather than going to the museum go to the pulqueria section and google what pulque is while enjoying your drink. People often mention pulque, museum, good,

Spanish only. Heads up for tourists expecting a bilingual museum. You’ll be using Google translate a lot to read if not fully fluent. Aside from that, it’s a little challenging to see but it’s a cute little stop that seems like it also has other cultural art before the pulque museum (it was under construction in the entry area when we stopped by). And your museum entry buys you a little pulque shot downstairs.

Good place! I have only visited the pulqueria which is on the ground floor, during the week it is quieter and it is more recommended since there are not so many people, because on Saturday you have to wait for a table because it is very full. The pulque is super delicious and very cheap unlike other places. The floors need a little more cleaning, and in general it feels a little dirty. The table service is friendly, and they accept card payment. They have food service too. To have a delicious pulque, this is it. Point to consider: they close very early, yesterday it wasn't 9 yet and they were already running us out, that's why I gave it 4 stars.

Interesting to learn more about pulque and curados. And you can try them different flavors: rice, tamarind, natural, strawberry, peanut, mango and more flavours.

Best pulque! Visited the museum and you get a coupon for a free taster. Unlike other pulquerias, this place is not so intimidating. The curados are not too sweet unlike other places. Get the tasting set before you decide!

Best pulqueria in the centro- pulques are delicious! Try Nuez, Coco, Piña and Guayaba- absolutely yummy! Even the veggie ones are great! It's a an easy going atmosphere, with good food and the staff is always friendly. Check out the museum upstairs, it's always interesting! If you can catch any of the events they do, the Catas de pulque or the hands on projects- they are always worth your while! A must if you are in the city! I always go every time I'm in Mexico City, preferably multiple times! I absolutely love this place!

It's good pulque. It's not really cheap, but compared with other famous pulquerías, it is good and good price.

Pulque is interesting as a drink. The museum doesn't have much in English but google translate worked well enough.

I have visited Bellas Artes, Alameda Central and Hidalgo on many occasions, and on this occasion, I decided to go to the pulque museum, here is my opinion. The museum is located on top of a pulquería, which gives it an additional point. When you go up, you find tables and menus, good prices for food and, above all, the price of pulque seemed normal to me. I didn't have to wait to enter the museum itself, general admission cost 30 pesos and if you are a student, 25 pesos, it doesn't seem like much, but you save 5 pesos for a metro ticket. Although the tour is very short, it could be said that it is one of the smallest museums I have visited, but sometimes less is more, and this museum was no exception to that rule, brief, concise and consistent information with everything What I already knew about the drink of the gods and even more information that I had not known, there is an interactive part that was fun, with proverbs and sayings, as well as one with true or false questions. With your ticket, when you finished your tour and got off, they gave you a courtesy of pulque of your choice, there was everything from Cured Nuez to Danonino, which was what I found very curious. A nice tour, a beautiful and fun moment and also a delicious tasting, I would recommend the place. Prices 07/10 Atmosphere 08/10 Pulque 08/10 Museum 10/10

Delicious place. Only that customer service should improve a lot.
