Admission is free and a guided tour of the museum is given. It seemed extremely important to me to know about the old instruments for measuring earthquakes, the time in which they were in operation and to know about other devices that are there. The talk they give you is in a language that is perfectly understood.

(Translated by Google) Small but with great collection. Admission is free. There is a guided tour highly recommended. They explain you from the history of the place, the Earth sciences and the instruments that exist. The main attention falls on seismology and much of the seismographs can be seen.

The place is very interesting, both for its history and for the content of the museum. The tour is guided, the staff is very attentive and answers questions with a very good attitude. I recommend it 100%.

Excellent museum for a fan of Earth Sciences, especially earthquakes due to the number of old seismographs on display. EYE! They only open when UNAM is in classes.

(Translated by Google) My daughter and I wanted to visit the geophysics museum in July 2019, unfortunately it was closed for being a holiday period. Yesterday (Monday) we went and I am fascinated: it is very easy to get there, it is open from Monday to Friday, it is free, there is a guided tour. Our guided tour lasted about 2 hours (maybe it was extended a little by the earthquake drill in which of course we participated), the guide explained everything very clearly, it was a very pleasant and interesting tour, answered our questions, the truth Worth a visit, I highly recommend it. The only "against" is that it is not a museum for people with reduced mobility as there are stairs. Congratulations to the people who have made this great experience possible.
