This was the first place I ate when I landed in CDMX and I Loved it so much I went back twice within my short stay in this city! The tacos are deliciously pink, the waffles divine, and the breakfast burrito combo a steal! Not only that, but I was told that almost everything is made from scratch in-house. A cute, hip eatery specialized in vegan food. We visited this place as a part of our food tour ( booked through TripAdvisor). I am personally not a vegan, so I would not have visited the place unless the food tour brought me here. They served two vegan tacos. The bright pink tortillas were really pretty. I guess they are a zero waste place and utilized some hibiscus to create this bright pink tortilla ( I’m not confident tho). The first taco was made with oyster mushroom in a carne asada style. It was very delicious. The second one was with cauliflower and vegan cheese ( made with coconut). TBH, I didn’t like the second taco much. However, the highlight of the meal at this place was a bright red colored hibiscus lemonade with ginger and lime! This was terrific. It was very soothing, and refreshing. If you are here, don’t forget to give it a try.

This was my favorite place when I first came to Mexico City, so I knew I had to take my family here when we come to visit CDMX together. We absolutely loved the food, and it was just as good as I remembered. We ordered 12 tacos, the guacamole and chips, and also tried their Jamaica (Hibiscus) water, and Kombucha. This is really some of the best tacos I have ever tried. I would not say they are like traditional tacos at all, but they are so light and refreshing yet filling. The chips for the guacamole are also baked not fried, so it is a relatively healthy meal. We LOVED all the food, but what makes this experience are the people who work here. So incredibly kind and welcoming, full of smiles, and patience. It's one of our favorite meals, and more then made up for the stress of getting from the airport into the city. It's also in a beautiful neighborhood, so it's the perfect place to take a walk after the meal.

The waiter explained to us how they sourced their ingredients from local organic farmers, and you can really taste that quality in the food.

I had already heard and read a lot about this restaurant and came here with super high expectations and this place met all my expectations and then some more. My partner and I ordered a ginger hibiscus drink, kombucha . Nachos with chickpea chorizo and three tacos. The drinks were refreshing and everything tasted and looked delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive and the service was quick. Highly recommend both vegans and non-vegans to check this place out.

My favorite vegan restaurant in CDMX. Delicious food ! Their cauliflower tacos are the yummiest thing I’ve had during my Mexican trip ( and I’ve visited a few cities :)) . Very friendly and attentive service . Highly recommend!

This is the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to! I’m not even done with the meal and wanted to write this review. I’m just completely blown away by the food and service here. Extremely flavorful and creative food! Highlights for me were the enfrijoladas with vegan chorizo added and the cauliflower taco! This place is amazing!

Amazing Mexican restaurant with delicious vegan food, cute decor and excellent service. All of the tacos were delicious (my favorite was the pastor de setas), as were the nachos and the tamale. The hot chocolate was also heavenly and had a beautiful design. Would definitely go back!

First of all the server did their best. She offered alternatives and really was sweet and kind. The food just was horrible. Not her fault. Extremely over priced menu. The lemonade was 70 pesos and wasn’t good. At that price it should be the best lemonade I’ve ever had. The food she brought us was 280 pesos. At that price it has to be amazing. It was horrible smelling. Too many combinations of flavors and smells. Overly complex when it didn’t need to be. Not a large amount of food. Combining mole , with plantains with rice with coconut is a tough sell. Not traditional but we gave it a chance. It was inedible. The smell was so strong from the food we felt nauseous . Could not finish it. She offered an alternative free Al pastor taco that was decent but not amazing. But she did not make the meal that was terrible free even tho we ate about three bites of it. Would not return. Would not recommend. This place focuses too much on plating and esthetics and complexity. They should focus more on delivering a solid meal. You can not justify charging 280 pesos for an inedible meal, no matter how beautiful it is. Other items on the menu indicate this philosophy of esthetics over content is present. They offer a burger with pink buns. Stop. This is a bad idea.

Very unique tacos for sure! Their presentation definitely catches your attention. Ordered the 3 combination tacos and they tasted fabulous. Great service!

Everything was had was incredible! The mole was balanced with a nice acidity, the tacos were phenomenal, pink chai was delightful. A vegan gem, I don't think there is a bad choice on the entire menu. The staff was super friendly and great atmosphere with comfy chairs and chill music. Nice to see and smell the open kitchen! Will definitely be back

Awesome food. Very unique, flavourful and yummy. My family and I went here twice because it was so good. Felt safe and comfortable eating here given we are vegetarian. So many options to choose from! I highly recommend and would go back again.

Wow! The ambiance, the warm service…. And the food! Wow! As a vegan travelling in Mexico it’s amazing to experience traditional dishes made (super well) with vegan care, like the Mole Mexico… unreal! What an incredible flavour experience. And the chocolate brownie with strawberry ice cream… divine! My friend and I were super impressed! Indoor and outdoor (sidewalk) seating. Pink and golden glowing atmosphere. Not too loud. Easy to carry on a conversation with a friend. I’ll be back! This was a game changer! 💞🙏🏼

I really can’t describe the taste. One of the best vegan tastes we had, after 4 months of traveling around Mexico. Very unique and special vegan options and super fancy original pink color in every dish.🌸 Very good value for money. Friendly stuff and cozy place as well. You rock guys!

Must visit for any vegetarian in the city!! I loved the first time so much that I ended up coming back twice in 3 days. Their pink tacos and burgers are signature items. I absolutely loved the pink tacos. They felt rightly spiced and fresh. My favorite over the two dinners was the enfrijoladas. The bean sauce and the tortillas made the perfect combo. I also tried the fresh coconut water which reminded me of indian roadside stalls. My friend ordered the creamy spinach soup which was delicious and light as well. They have great service and a nice ambience with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Great place for a Sunday morning breakfast. Staff speaks English, and are very knowledgeable about the celiac disease and other allergies. They even have a dedicated menu for allergies and gluten free options. The food was great, portions were very generous and card payment is possible.

Nice vegan take on Mexican dishes. I'm skeptical with "just taking the original dish, leave out the meat or replace it with fake meat et voilà" but here the staff puts thought and effort into reinterpreting them and replacing ingredients with tasty and interesting alternatives - everything we ordered was delicious and the staff was also very friendly, even brought snacks for the dog. Portion sizes are huge, so I kind of ordered too much but ended up eating everything anyway because it just tasted so good. Opening hours are convenient, too.

This has been my favourite restaurant in Mexico City. The breakfast special is such a good deal, we’ve tried the chilaquiles and the wrap and both were amazing. I highly recommend the cinnamon buns too!

I placed an order to go and was so happy with my order! I travel a lot and always check out local vegan places and this place has been one of my favorites! The food + flavors were great and it was such a cute space. A great place for vegan options and next time I come I will definitely plan some more time to be able to sit down and eat there!

Tacos were really fresh and flavorful, not the most traditional Mexican flavors I've had at other vegan tacos places but I enjoyed them nonetheless

This place was such a delight to visit! The first vegan place I went to in Roma and it set the bar high!! I went for the combo breakfast which I clises a bowl of fruit with coconut yogurt and a tasty cajeta coffee. The burrito was absolutely delicious and such a generous portion. The staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend!

I ordered the tacos: Baja, camote Al pesto, Al Pastor y papa Al curry and a Tepache drink. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend it, the portions were filling and the food was carefully crafted. This is my new go-to spot!

We had such an amazing experience here that we went twice, and would have gone again if there was more time! My partner (non-vegan) and I (vegan) traveled to Mexico City for a wedding and this place was a must-stop for its vegan versions of traditional Mexican dishes. The parents of one of the couple advised us to try the Chiles en Nogadas, a popular seasonal dish, while we were in town, and we were so happy to find a vegan version here. We loved it so much, we recreated it at home in Wisconsin!! Otherwise, we went once for lunch with a friend, sharing the amazing nachos along with the Chiles en Nogadas and one of the famous pink burgers. Later on, we picked up takeout brunch and it was just as good a second time. So much color, flavor, and authenticity wrapped up perfectly for visiting vegetarians, vegans, and the veg-curious in Mexico City.

This place was so good! The tacos were amazing and we had a great drink. The environment is very welcoming and inclusive. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in CDMX

We ordered the nachos, Cauliflower Baja tacos and an assortment of three different kinds of tacos. The nachos were wonderfully cheesy and were generously loaded in each layer. The cauliflower was nice and crunchy. The curried potatoes were incredibly flavourful. All in all a really nice meal and would definitely visit more often if I lived in Mexico City.

After a week in CDMX, this and El Mundo are the only two places I’d recommend everyone go to. At Pitahaya, get the breakfast combo! You can’t go wrong with any options, but if it’s a cold day try the chilaquiles, it will warm you up and is very delicious. Highly recommend this place, very fortunate to stay across the road from here at nana vida.

Have multiple vegan options. We ordered coconut water, tacos and burritos. Coconut water was fresh and refreshing; tacos were flavorful and would definitely recommend; burritos were ok

Great dine in experience here as a vegan. They have good food options with delicious starters, main meal, desserts and drinks. Chilaquiles was the best, coconut cream and tofu tacos, other pink tacos were great as well. Tried hamburger today, it was delicious. And yeah burrito was yum as well 👍 dishes we tried were all vegan. We had 3 meals here, breakfast, brunch and lunch on different days, loved everything!!

We ordered Mole mixteco, and 3 tacos - pesto sweet potato, machaca tofu and coliflor con requeson. All of them tasted bad. Only the ambiance is nice and the pink tortillas is an attraction. But nothing tasted nice. Would not recommend going here.
