We stayed here for one night and as luck would have it, one of the two of us caught food poisoning while traveling to CDMX and this hotel became our safe haven for the night. We booked via Hotel Tonight and arrived at 11:30am (early). At first, the receptionist could not find our reservation, which was worrisome. We went upstairs to the rooftop restaurant while she sorted our rooms out. After about an hour, she confirmed our reservation AND even allowed us to check in at 12:30pm due to our sickness. Extremely kind. Our room's wall faced the zocalo of downtown centro, so it was SO noisy - both during the day and at night. The hotel also features music on its rooftop every weekend night, so be prepared to listen to blasting music until 11pm. otherwise, the location is great and tons of walkable streets nearby. Would recommend, as long as you aren't a light sleeper!

I love this place. We stayed for 2 nights in the hotel and everything was beyond pleasant. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful, all the staff was friendly and super welcoming. Our room was very clean and had some local decor in a modern design! upon our arrival a red bottle of wine and a yummy treat were already in our room! We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The breakfast was fantastic and we had Carlos Godoy as our server many mornings, very nice server and took care of us in my tired broken Spanish. The only bad thing I can say about this hotel is on the weekends the music at the terrace is very loud and doesn’t end until midnight so if you were planning to sleep before then it is impossible. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable.

We had a really lovely stay at this place. Service was really cordial and attentive; people were willing to help with whatever problem we had, down to moving the noisy small fridge out of our room when we asked. Breakfast (included) was excellent; every morning, we had cappuccino, pastry, fruit, and eggs on an extremely pleasant terrace. There are musical events on the terrace on evenings later in the week. These you might want to gravitate toward (to me, they were surprisingly fun) or away from, staying earlier in the week. (While they are happening, they can be heard throughout the hotel, including our ground-floor room. Some nights they end as late as 11--usually earlier.) Marco Antonio and Giovanni took excellent care of my wife and I. Not only did they recommend amazing food and drinks but they also gave us insight on what to do during our stay. Marco is extremely knowledgeable in the location’s history that predates more than 500 years on certain buildings. In addition the view is spectacular, we came for breakfast and I can only imagine what it looks like in the evening.

This time we were graced to enjoy the service of the waiters' captain Eduardo. He really went beyond his duty to make it perfect for the 6 of us. And the food... Beautiful boutique hotel in the center of downtown. Everyone is so attentive, Edgar at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect! We had an issue one of the nights with the host at the restaurant but Edgar and the managers at the restaurant made sure it got corrected. It gets a 10/10 in my book, the transportation guy they used was Antonio and he was amazing also going above and beyond that we booked him for a personal tour to take us out to Xochimilco. The only bad thing is traffic gets horrible for rush hour. But it’s got nothing to do with the hotel. Food and drinks are delicious as well! Last day we were leaving early & we were not going to be available to catch breakfast but they were nice enough to take us fruit, bread and coffee up to our room at 630am!

If they had a better form of ac (really hot during the evenings, especially after an entire day walking around outside in the sun) and consistently hot water, it would be a 5/5; unfortunately, the inconsistencies of the two amenities were big enough reasons to not want to stay there again. That being said, it is a beautiful spot with high ceilings and a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. The staff are kind and attentive and made us feel very welcome. If they could just find a way to improve these two issues, it would one of my favorite places to stay in the Zócalo.

Great location convenient to historic city center with balconies connected to some rooms. The check in was really fast and they have affordable valet parking. Don’t get stuck driving through the local market though, it took us an hour to drive about seven blocks. Our bed was big, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hot water was constant and the water pressure was great. They play loud music until midnight in Saturday nights which could be heard from our room, and the breakfast included was nice enough, with three options for juice, coffee or tea, a modest fruit plate and one main dish. The terrace restaurant service was great, although they messed up my food twice (my stomach was upset the night before so I was opting out of cheese and dairy, but they included cheese in my breakfast the first two times), so be very clear if you have any dietary restrictions. They offer unlimited, fresh, fruit infused drinking water in the lobby so bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated as you head into the city! Overall, we would stay here again.

I didn't stay at the hotel but I went to an event at the rooftop. Their service is a bit shady, the had a cover for the event but they added to the tab so when you add a tip, you're adding a tip to the cover charge as well. I also got held up at gunpoint outside, steps away from it at around 10PM. If you're going to stay in this area, be very careful at night and if you order an Uber, wait until they get there to walk out. It might save you a terrible experience.

While the hotel itself was nicely appointed and the staff at the upstairs bar and during breakfast were lovely, our experience was mixed. The central location lacked nearby bars and restaurants, and surprisingly, the noise from the reception area disrupted our mornings from 6:30 am onwards. A notable issue arose when we asked the hotel to arrange a taxi to the airport. Unfortunately, the taxi turned out to be unlicensed, taking a longer route and attempting to charge four times more than an Uber would have. Although we recognize the need to confirm details ourselves, especially with transportation, we expected a high-end hotel to engage licensed taxi services. Overall, our stay had its positives, but the unexpected noise and transportation issues left room for improvement.

Super disappointed with this hotel. I booked a room for 5 nights. I arrived at 10pm on a Wednesday and there was a private party happening on the rooftop and the music was BLASTING! During check-in they said the party would be over at 12am, however the music continued until almost 2:30am. My room was below the rooftop so I felt every beat and heard every scream that happened during the party. There were multiple other guests complaining as well. I called the front desk and they said that the people hosting the party paid for extra time and there is nothing that could be done. They wouldn’t even turn down the music… so this hotel cares more about the parties than the guests staying at their property. I cancelled the rest of my reservation and moved to another hotel in Centro that was perfect. It’s a shame, because the rooms were actually very nice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting CDMX. Stay somewhere else that actually care about their guest.
