👍👍 My husband and I supposed to go the this other restaurant that I've been, which was pretty good but the store was busy. So we ended walking around and checking some other restaurants. We came across La Aceituna with the intention of just checking the menu, it was 11:45am. I was not ready for a heavy... People often mention service, good, friendly, great, menu,

I stumbled on this spot walking around Polanco in search of less luxury Spanish food. The food is delicious, friendly staff and outstanding service! Specially Aram provided great service as I wanted to watch a certain futbol match they weren’t showing on TV but Aram brought a tablet for me to watch the game at my table!! highly recommended place

My husband and I supposed to go the this other restaurant that I've been, which was pretty good but the store was busy. So we ended walking around and checking some other restaurants. We came across La Aceituna with the intention of just checking the menu, it was 11:45am. I was not ready for a heavy meal because it was too early for me. After seeing the menu, my expectation was pretty low due to a lot of disappointing experiences from the restaurants we've been. We've been in Mexico city for three months now. So after seeing the menu, we decided to try it. I had beef medallion with creamy sauce and my husband got rib eye with fries. While waiting for the food. They served us with complimentary nachos with guacamole. I also ordered cafe mocha. When the coffee was served. Instantly, I am impressed. To add to my surprised, it only took first bite for me to changed my mind about the restaurant. My order came with steamed vegetables and creamy spinach with almonds. All the foods we got were all seasoned very well. I don't know what Juan's postition in the restaurant, but the service we got from him was excellent. He's very friendly and accomodating. Always checked on us which is my definition of great customer service. We had a conversation about my husband and my experiences in Mexico, which I find very pleasing cause most of the waiters never really talk to me cause I am not white. So that was a great experience in La Aceituna. Kodus ko Juan! We'll definitely come back and I would definitely recommend the place. Good price, great food and excellent service.

Not bad food - not a very inventive menu outside of the tasty swordfish tacos.

They have a nice outdoor seating area. Their food was ok, but service was pretty good. It's a Spanish restaurant, but the menu has options for those who prefer more generic fare.

This place was fantastic. The servers were so friendly and happy - they were happy to explain the menu and ensure we had exactly what we wanted. The bagel with tuna, ham, bacon and eggs was tasty and very big. Recommended for quality lunch in Polanco.

Delicious drinks soups and tapas. Great atmosphere, impeccable service. High quality food for a very good price. After visiting museums all day we had a very satisfying meal. Relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Our waiter made great suggestions. If I lived in Mexico City I would go to this restaurant regularly. It was very busy with an upscale crowd.

Modern Mexican cuisine done right... friendly staff and the extremely friendly owner must live here... his care for his establishment and clientele is clear... Aceituna is busy for a reason... best recommendation I could offer a prospective diner is to check the sports calendar and consider making a reservation... either way, you'll enjoy your visit.

The food was devine... I ordered the tuna stake which was perfect. Don't leave without trying the Don Julio Tequila. Wait staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.

Spontaneuosly walked in after a long day exploring the City. A very good choice. A+ service that offered perfectly chilled cerveza (3rd round on the house) , delicious burger (the caramelized onions!!), fajiita de pollo and pasta that our son loved. Quick, clean, nothing missing. Recommended for a casual diner.

Spanish food is really good here! I have been here 2 or 3 times and every time the service and staff were really good, the food tasty. Food and drink are much more affordable than in other similar places in Polanco. It can get quite busy on the week end so it is best to make a reservation.

😐 This place is huge, and there's always a waiting line to get in, the menu is small and straighforward, but it's totally worth eating there... I would just say there are too many tables per room, and sometimes the waiters are less than attentive becsuse of the amount of customers... still worth it.
