My wife and I went to eat at Cipriani for Christmas eve, after hearing great comments from friends and family. However our experience was far from what you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. To star with my wife order and veal ragu pasta which was tasteless and the pasta was way over cooked. I order a dish with octupus which was very well cooked, but as soon as I got home I was stomach sick for about two days. We were really disappointed with the whole experience.

Nice place, the chairs are very comfortable. The service is friendly, fast, and nice. The food is a bit overpriced but well it is expected since it is Polanco. The menu is not too big but has good options for every taste. I liked their wine by the glass, good choice. The sauce of the pasta was tasty, not too spicy as other arrabbiatas. The salad I had was very simple but fresh. Dessert was tasty, they should sell half of it since it is too big and maybe you can't share it with someone. Overall a decent italian place in Mexico City

Never disappointed with cipriani anywhere around the world! The Bellinis are fantastic and a must at any Cipriani! They do take in to consideration all the sanitary measures for Covid. The food and the service was impeccable as always, we sat on the terrace for lunch. Will definitely be back once before I leave Mexico City.

There are people in the world that have to be seen in expensive places since they feel they have made it in life. Cipriani restaurants are nothing great as far a quality. It’s the name that attracts the rich. In New York or London or Mexico City. Coming from a Northern Italian family there is nobody that cooks better Italian food than my grandmother from Sicily. Real Italian cuisine can only be found in Italy or a few places in NYC. Since most Mexicans have no idea of real homemade Italian food tastes like Cipriani is lucky. The price you pay there is outrageous for what they serve. I wonder if the actually have an Italian chef that is well known? So all you Rolex and Cartier and Hermes rich go eat there and leave a huge tip since money is nothing for the rich.

Remarkable atmosphere. But bring your banker with you. We are a couple of Montreal based professionals, seasoned executives with millions of miles and countless dining experiences worldwide ranging from Michelin 3-star establishments to greasy spoons and everything in between. Point being: we know what good food, good wines, good cocktails, good service and overall good experience and value cost, look and should feel like. In this case, the rating is deserved because despite a remarkable quality service from the Maître D., The prices are grossly exaggerated. You can find as good if not better food elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Here you pay for the name, not for the food.

Good food, nice service like Miami and New York, but better prices.

This place looks better than what the food actually taste like. Do not get me wrong, the food wasn't bad, I just wasnt wowed by it. I've had better Italian food at other spots in our neighborhood. I ordered salmon with sauteed potatoes. The salmon was cooked how I like it, but the potatoes weren't what I would call sauteed, they were more fried with the perfect amount of salt. So I would change the menu to salmon w/fried potatoes.

Went there on a business lunch. The place feels like business and politics mixed together. The food was elaborate but the portions were not that big. Prices however were. Nice restaurant though. Good wine list.
