A café that gets by on it’s amazing decor and location, with quality coffee but generally overpriced teas and offerings. Service was terrible: 3x asked for milk, 2x for spoon, no positive attitudes or smiles, defaulted to charge me a large instead of asking for size preference, completely average ham sandwich, and the tea is a standard mug, not the usual small kettle with a cup to pour. Better options within walking distance but a really beautiful spot with nice touristy stuff for sale. Friendlier and faster service would make this place a gem, justifying the premium price.

I really wanted to like this place, but owing to a lot of disappointment only giving it 2 stars. It's really boring reading about bad service other people have received. But when they bring the bill before the food, then bring the wrong dish and leave it anyway (then the correct one later, only to take it away), the dryest ever pancakes - when I asked for more honey she just slammed it down on the table. Added to that you're eating in a gift shop, and there's no loo seat.... I could go on but you probably get the idea. One star for the cool music, and the outside area is really nice

A cute little coffee shop with amazing pastries and great breakfast options in Escandón. The ambiance is pretty chill and perfect to sit and work for hours. The service is nice and the prices are fair. In addition to be a cafe, Yume is also a shop when you can get vintage decor items and books. The best thing is that they serve breakfast all day long.

An delicious and beautiful experience, the place is quite an experience of delicious sandwiches and traditional “Anyojitos” The Fight Club Sandwich is highly recommended and the chocolate cake is simply decadent, drinks are also great, the iced chocolate is highly recommended as well

The Vietnam coffee was good and the barista was very friendly, so was the waiter, the waitress on the other hand was awful and never came to the table to take my order she just left the menus at the table without any hint of service or even a simple greeting. I had to get up to the coffee bar and the barista tool my order. Capresse toast was really bland and insipid, I was quite disappointed. To bad I ain't coming back, and honestly I don't recommend it. The plus side of this place is the decorative atmosphere, is nice and quirky and has good music to actually bring your laptop or a book to hang out.

This is one of my favorite cafes I have ever been to! The alfajores are so good highly recommend trying with your coffee. It’s a lovely environment and the Texas ranger omelette and toasts are great. We keep coming back :)

This coffee shop is my favorite spot in the Escandon neighbourhood. I come here every day for several hours – to have a cup of coffee and work. The vibe is calm and peaceful, it’s really a welcome retreat from the bustling streets of Condesa or Roma. Plus they have a good selection of music (not very loud) and interior design with the attention to details, plus they function as a boutique for local designers. Different classic coffee options are served here, I always take a latte which is pretty much perfect!! But my favorite thing – house-baked cookies. Be sure to try the lemon one – it will blow your mind. But what makes a spot special, especially if you end up coming every day – it’s the attitude and the people. Coffee is served with a little cookie, stuff is always nice, service is fast and the crowd who comes here always has a good vibe. Whether you want to have coffee and read a book, have lunch, dinner or planning a date – check this place out. Highly recommend it!

As always one of my favourites places to have a good chat with a nice cup of tea. The staff was good, not great though.

This place looks amazing and the breakfast food tastes amazing too. However we tried the croque Madame on our second visit. The taste was absolutely perfect BUT afterwards we had to cancel all our plans because we had to take turns on the toilet for 4 hours straight .... Luckily we were staying with a friend who lives close by. Feel free to try their food (again: the tastes are absolutely amazing), but perhaps better to try it only when your schedule is free for the day :) I hope we were just unlucky this time.

Only had here Chai and desserts The Chai was alright, the desserts were good but very sweet for my taste Prices are affordable, The biggest advantage of the place was that they are open until late, which is nice since most of the other cafes around are closing earlier. Staff was very nice and polite

Very cute space, the afternoon staff was lovely! I was helped right away, and enjoyed my meal (the fight club sandwich 10/10). My only critique would be the wifi speed. Will definitely be back!

Really adorable coffee shop, I was just passing through for a coffee while I waited for my laundry in the wash nearby but I really enjoyed it and the atmosphere, very cute shop with gift items too, service staff is super friendly and nice

The food is pretty to look at, but a bit bland, my poached egg was pretty raw, and the portions are small. Service was not friendly and pretty slow even for Mexico.

I like everything about this cafe BUT the service is here is pretty bad. The service staff is very unfriendly and feels like you’re a bother to them. Other than that, great food, fair prices and great atmosphere. They also have many cool trinkets and art displayed around the cafe for sale.

Wow....I really cannot understand the high rating of this place, zero atmosphere, a very poor mocha, very uninterested staff. Very substandard for a neighborhood like Condesa/Roma with world class cafes. The decor is pretty cool but that's it.

😐 This place is huge, and there's always a waiting line to get in, the menu is small and straighforward, but it's totally worth eating there... I would just say there are too many tables per room, and sometimes the waiters are less than attentive becsuse of the amount of customers... still worth it.
