For Lamb Barbacoa lovers this is THE place! Barbacoa is mainly lamb meat (different cuts) baked in a stone or clay receptacle in the ground. With a strong and smokey flavor its enjoyed with different hot sauces and freshly made corn tortillas. At Arroyo you can enjoy this uniquely Mexican delight, always accompanied by at least 2-3 different musical bands, such as Mariachis and Marimba. Despite being a HUGE restaurant with probably over 1,200 seats, the food is fresh and the service friendly and quick.

A really outstanding Mexican food restaurant, where you can enjoy the very traditional food from our loved country, and at the same time getting astonished by the best mariachi performance and folkloric dance shows, not to mention that it has its own bullring.

This had to be one of the most fun places I've ever been to.. The restaurant is huge with with several different dial front dining halls, all with music and entertainment. Mariachis were fantastic and we had a great time. Of course an operation the size does have its challenges. The bar service left a lot to be desired. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant for a group dining experience.

a classic restaurant in Mexico City with a great Mexican ambiance and service. the main dishes were delicious- we tried the pollo con mole, carnitas, and barbacoa. the only issue was that some of the basics were spoiled- the guacamole was made with an old avocado and you could taste it, the plate with the onion, limes, and cilantro had cilantro that was black. a little scary to think they used and served it to our table.
