My wife and I have now enjoyed two excellent breakfasts here! Their eggs Benedict, eggs “ahogado” ((drowned in tomato/pimiento sauce), their coffee and their pastries are all excellent and the seating choices, both indoor and out, give many different options to suit different moods and occasions—all good. Service has also been cheerful and attentive. Numerous sandwich choices, as well. Great place to eat, drink and hang out!

We had a fantastic brunch here. The guava roll is a must. I had the tamales and they melted in my mouth. Cafe Nin has a very intimate feel, we had a table by the entrance and people kept bumping into the table. But we didn’t really mind. The decor is gorgeous. Lots of laughter and joy. The wait for two people at around 12:45 pm on a Saturday was only 10 min.

This place is extremely aesthetically pleasing! The Decor is to die for and every angle is perfect. The workers are extremely kind and courteous but ultimately if you’re coming for the food, you will be disappointed. Everything we ordered tasted extremely bland 0X. For the price we were paying I expected a lot more. We were extremely hungry after.

The Cafe Nin has a very Paris Cafe feel about it. From the aproned waiters and waitresses to the chandelier in the and pastries. This place is wonderful and the food was first rate. I had the granola with fresh fruit and it hit the make. The coffee was really good too ☕. I was offered an English language menu which was helpful for.me.and my limited Spanish. It was good to be looked after. Thank you Cafe Nin

Trendy, eclectic, friendly staff and delicious food. First time visiting and extremely happy. Interesting place with seating upstairs, outside, at bar and in hidden nooks. Intimate setting with a moody jazzy vibe. Breakfast/brunch menu differs from dinner. I went for breakfast. I had a cappuccino, yogurt with seasonal fruit and granola followed by scrambled egg with pumpkin flowers. The waitress suggested the scrambled egg with pumpkin flowers and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. Definitely worth visiting. Looking forward to going for lunch/dinner.

Café Nin is a cosy little restaurant in the heart on CDMX downtown neighborhood. It offers good service placed inside an old house and it’s beautiful. Food is not bad, it actually works best for breakfast or a quick bite. But I think their menu is too limited for a full meal like lunch or dinner. Portion size it’s just to small and prices quite high. Pastries are excellent, full dishes not that good gnocchi it’s just not there…). Still I’d recommend to try it.

Cappuccino and guava roll were great but I would skip the Croque Madam - it was a bit bland. Nice setting in a beautiful building near Zona Rosa with sidewalk seating.

For fans of high-quality baked goods and dishes with simple but elegant flavors. This cozy and rustic spot is one of the latest (2017) ventures of Mexican chef Elena Reygadas owner & chef of restaurants Rosetta and Lardo (both high regarded, and personally recommended). 11 out of 10 - You won’t be disappointed. I recommend starting out with a Rol de Guayaba (guava roll) and asking for your hot beverage to arrive at the same time your pastry does. If you’re extra hungry also order a delicious chocolatín (pastry with a dab of dark chocolate) For your main dish: chilaquiles verdes (corn tortillas that are fried, then sautéed with green salsa and topped with burrata, epazote (aromatic herb), cilantro, and aguacate); add fried eggs on top if you’re an egg lover like me. The Good: + Fast food to table. + Outdoor seating is shaded and comfortable. + Pastries served with pre-warmed plates. + Serving temp for coffee/warm beverages was perfect. This might be a contentious point for people who prefer hotter serving temps (aka burning their mouths). + Clean, savory and well executed dishes. Sticks to the fundamentals of the dish, and elevates it with high quality ingredients. + Professional, friendly and attentive front of house staff. The Okay: + The bread piece that came with the huevos hoja santa dish did not feel like enough to finish the dish. The Bad: + Nada.

This is an amazing place to have breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is between bohemian and romantic, very chill. The menu is not super extensive but it caters to different tastes and dietary needs. The coffee is great and they have more than a couple milk alternatives. Don’t leave without trying at least one of their incredibly delicious breads and pastries.

Simply WOW! Went for brunch and had the best experience! The food was extremely tasty, all the dishes we ordered were very very tasty. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food came out very fast. The restaurant is nice and quaint. If you're looking for a great place to have breakfast or brunch, don't miss out on Cafe NIN. I had the eggs Benedict, which came out great and were very tasty. We also tried different scones, the sweet rosemary bread, cappuccino, and golden milk. We will definitely come back again in the future.

This place is rated high for some reason but the pastries we ordered were all cold, including the quiche which came with a side salad that was incredibly over dressed and hard to eat. The service didn’t make up for any of this, I wouldn’t go here again. The quaint interior does give a nice vibe to the place.

We made a quick stop here on our way out of the city because we did not have time to drive to Rosetta. We did read that they deliver their bread to this café so we gave it a shot. Even in the late afternoon, they still had a good selection of pastries. The pastries were very good and quite different from what you would find at one of the more traditional panaderias. The menu seemed to have some tasty entrees and drinks, which we will definitely try out on our next trip. The building and décor seemed very cozy as well. Enjoy y'all.

We waited for over an hour for a table for brunch (1pm on a Saturday). The food was pretty good, but not exceptional. Very good selection of baked goods, the little beignet was probably the highlight. Great atmosphere, very cozy interior

I had the Guava Roll, something I hadn’t tried before and loved it. The coffee was good too, although milk not steamed to a hot enough temperature for me. Seems to be a common theme in CDMX, maybe that’s the norm here. But it was still a good coffee.

Amazingly cute restaurant to enjoy your breakfast/brunch. They have so much pastries and baked goods that it is hard to choose. The pancakes were also nice and the avocado toast too. They also have oat milk for your coffee which is not that easy to find in Mexico city. Just ask for leche averna. The staff is super friendly and quick and always care for you. Awesome place. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast places can be hot or miss but Cafe Nin was a nice gem we came across on our visit to Mexico City. All the items we order was delicious but the Ham & Cheese Croissant 🔥🔥 was divine (flakey, buttery, and warm. They also bring a selection of pastries out to your table and I recommend grabbing at last one. Overall had a delicious breakfast and would recommend this place to anyone on the search for breakfast. We walked in and were immediately sat down by a nice hostess.

I’ve had breakfast in here before many many times but recently the quality of the service has downgraded pretty drastically. I still love the food. The people giving the tables should know how to accommodate the people that comes by. I will come back ? Yes, but not as often as before 😔❤️

Ordered the concha pastry and the guava roll and loved both! The tamale ingredients were intriguing (pumpkin, mint!) but tasted slightly bland. Overall, great service, atmosphere and food and would come here again for brunch!

Cozy and beautiful place to make a break, drink a coffee and eat breakfast. The food is really delicious (egg’s Benedict and a scone). The service is nice. The architecture and design are awesome!

Very nice. Good food as well. What I didn’t like was that the piece of cake was 185$, crazy! The sandwich which was excellent was just 130$, I don’t know how they want to justify this. Apart from this a very nice place.

The food was delicious. But honestly reading all the 5-star comments, I didn’t get the hype. It was a typical cafe with a long wait time. The outdoor furniture was very uncomfortable. Chairs were surprisingly high for the tables.

Cute place with a nice outdoor patio. It is expensive though for what it is, and the service a bit gruff. Update: service, especially by the female servers - is still pretty gruff.

The food was terrible, and my eggs were completely uncooked. Yet we still payed, I've never been to a restaurant where everything was disgusting. The service was poor, and the bacon they brought out literally made my stomach turn, it smelt so old. They also got my order wrong.

Excellent service! Super fast and efficient especially if seated at the counter. Get there before 10 am to wait about 15-20 minutes for a party of 1-2 otherwise the wait seemed really long. Their prices are great, loved that they offered Rosetta’s pastries. Great coffee, menu was varied, nice scrambled eggs with bacon and Parmesan cheese. Overall a great option for breakfast near Reforma.

This my pure love place! Come for donuts after 11:30 am. Because donuts are something special here. Also I would recommend ocho con crema, it’s soo yummy! Big cups of coffee and super friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Line can get a bit busy around 12. 00 but it’s fine. After lunch it’s pretty much empty. There are a lot of foreigners here.

Worst service. Terrible manager. 2 hairs in oatmeal dish. Asked for corn muffin to be toasted 3 times and in the end I asked to not have it when i finished my main meal and they still charged me, without saying sorry or anything. For a highend place like this, you'd expect better service. do not come here

Everything is so green. Juarez has so many trees and green which makes it my favorite neighborhood in terms of urban vibe. This place is right in line with that. The interior is beautiful, the service great and the bread tasty.

I dream of eating the guava roll every day for breakfast. It’s a pastry that comes with a light ricotta bed, topped with guava marmalade with the texture of pulp. This is contrasted with a flaky exterior that isn’t too airy. The guava marmalade is special - a rich and authentic fruity paste that pairs so well with the cream and the buttery exterior. It is truly a delightful piece for breakfast or lunch. Their other pieces, the cinnamon roll, Berliners, chocolatine are all very solid as well (I really liked the Mamey and Pixtle Berliner). Enjoy your breakfast out on the street or sidewalk seating surrounded by the urban greenery of Mexico City.

Seems to be a trendy place, crowded on weekends. But quality is undeniable, excellent prices, superb breakfast, great staff and extremely good bread and pastries. Worth the trip and the waiting time

The selection is huge and tasty. We were lucky enough to sit inside at the bar, which is a glass topped counter we’re you can just drool over the pastries. We did have to wait 30min to get a table but it was worth the wait. We ordered a Croque Madam and a ricotta/cocoa pastry swirl and a couple of coffees. Service was fast.

Can’t wait to try the pastry we brought back — we dined in and had excellent coffee + tea, hummus (that had a spicy kick which we loved), a soup of the day (pumpkin based) and a falafel. Food was amazing, service great, and the place cute. Highly recommended

Great (10/10) coffees and pastries. Sandwiches were also very good (9/10). Service was excellent: interactive, fast, and kind. Pricing was not the cheapest, but a great value for the money. Around 500 pesos for 2 people: coffee, sandwiches, pastries

I have been to a lot of good bakeries in my life, including famous American ones like Tartine in San Francisco and Floriole in Chicago. This is above and beyond the best pastry I have ever had. Even more surprising was my quiche, which had the flakiest crust, crispiest top, and was bursting with flavor. Don’t miss this place while in CDMX!

We were here on a Sunday morning at 7:30 am. It’s a cozy and cute cafe with an amazing variety of baked goods, sandwiches and coffee. My partner had the chilaquiles and I had the eggplant baguette sandwich and a latte each. Both the dishes tasted really good, the portion size was perfect. The latte was perfect and the latte art was neatly done and beautiful ! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and service was quick. Definitely check this place out if you are looking for an early breakfast.

Great brunch spot that ticks all the boxes: very nice interior and outside seating area, the staff is super friendly and - best of all - they have gluten free and vegan options that are clearly marked on the menu. It gets quite busy, but both times we went the wait for a table was very quick. The gluten free cake options tend to sell out so make sure to ask for one as soon as you get to the restaurant ;)

Stumbled upon this place after some neighborhood shopping. And so lovely eating here under the awning. Service was exceptional and very attentive. The food was so good very lucky it’s one of my first meals I had in the city. The desert was a must Omg it was so good as was their natural wine selection. Can’t recommend enough the fried pork chop it was so good I’m still salivating. The creamy cauliflower was delicious but the eggplant sandwich was def the veggie standout I could eat that everyday truly!!

Great Breakfast spot! I normally don't eat ham but the ham and cheese crossaint was so delicious! The croissant was buttery and flaky and absolutely messy but worth every bite! It was so good I came back and had it the next morning. It's a very hipster and quaint location. The decor sets a relaxed and modern vibe. The latte was good. The milk options were, light milk, regular milk, almond milk, and oat milk.

The food and coffee are pretty good, but you're paying near NYC prices. The vibe is great. We sat outside and had a saxophone serenade on Sunday morning. Arrive early. Got pretty busy by the time we left.

Whilst many places in the area want to live off location and decoration, folks at Café Nin really work hard to make your stay a memorable one. Waiters are very attentive and the chef is willing to make changes should you have any dietary needs. The recipes are superb and they have options for those desiring gluten free options.

This was a true hidden gem on our trip to Mexico. The service and food was phenomenal. We had the guava croissant and it was amazing. Honestly everything that we picked was great. I would go back if we weren’t on a time crunch.

Loved this place! We came here twice during our stay in the city which is saying a lot because there are so many great places to go so I don’t want to go to the same place more than once. Vibe, Staff, & food were all 5⭐️. The quiche was great but the fig leaf Berliner was mind blowing 🤯 I’m obsessed with the smell of a dry fig leaf I can’t believe someone created a dessert that captures the essence so perfect. I will be talking about that desert for years.

Came here mainly for the Guava Roll and it did not dissapoint! The ham & cheese croissant was good, but nothing special. The matcha latte was kinda disappointing, felt like a cheap matcha powder, can't really taste the matcha flavour.

Cute little cafe in a charming house. A good place to visit to enjoy some original cocktails and pastries. We didn't try their food but definitely will come back. There is an upstairs and a patio . We arrived without a reservation at 3 pm on a Monday, so we got lucky.

Charming cafe with a solid brunch menu. The outdoor seating area was covered in foliage so it was beautiful and private. Food was decent, nothing super original but really delicious and executed well. Highly recommend adding on a tamale!

Great place, with great food every single bread or dish I have tried as an excellent flavor I highly recommend if you can go and try it, I will say there is almost always a line to wait around 25 to 40 min depending what day and hour you arrive, but don't get there already super hungry as is better to make the time waiting. In the outside tables you can be with your pet.

Gorgeous bakery and cafe. The pastries and coffee were delicious. Huevos rancho was solid. I would pass on the fresh juices.

The baked oatmeal bar with the fresh fruit is unreal. I don't know how else to explain it except if you like granola bowls/oatmeal you HAVE to give this a try. I just wish I knew how to make it so I could have it more often 🥲

Everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Huge variety of baked goods and solid Mexican breakfast dishes. Benedict in puff pastry was spot on. The cheese puff is perfectly laminated with a perfect balance of cheese

It’s super aesthetic and a place to be seen and people watch. Service is really good ! Lot of travelers here. The food is really good too! Was fortunate to show up right before the rush and get seated at bar; otherwise be prepared to wait !
