It was very bad, we were waiting for just entradas and salsas 1.5 hour ! For our wine 50 min after we contacted 8 times our waiter and 3 times administrator. Tacos are very bad, 3 tacos with old meat 400 peso. The music is crazy starting from 7 pm you can not hear anyone and when we passing in taxi with windows closed we still can hear the noise from restaurant, it was really the loudest music in all Masaryk street that not what you expect when you just come to eat meat and drink wine. And I can not blame waiters just imagine to work in this environment all day with music like in night clubs all day, they even can not hear the orders…. They all look sad with headache and very tired…. Avoid at all costs! There is much better places even in Polanco. Food is overpriced and bad, they put very loud shots!! Shots! Shots! At 7:30 pm like in strip club. They don’t respect their workers to make them to work in this environment, I still have headache after just spending 2 hours in this restaurant from hell, just imagine working there….

The food was super fresh, tasty and fairly priced. I had the octopus - it was out of this world! Top notch service, very friendly and professional staff, and overall nice music and atmosphere - for couples, families or groups of friends. Unless you book, you might need to queue and wait. I’d certainly come back!

Wonderful restaurant for a truly enjoyable experience. Their mission statement is to recreate your most traditional meals and entertainment. The cocktails are hand crafted and of top quality, including delicious food and deserts! Lastly the service was excellent by all staff members. This is a must visit restaurant for top quality food with traditional inspiration.

Great place for Mexican traditional/authentic food. Awesome atmosphere, especially when the mariachi band is playing. Highly recommend. Fair prices.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. This restaurant is a must when you’re in Mexico City, you can get different tasty options with a twist of fun and perfect presentation. My favorite was the barbacoa tacos, although the salsa was really spicy for me.

Most fun dinner we had our entire trip! We had a 10 PM reservation via OpenTable and it was the perfect spot for a group of 10. Music videos and club music made it a fun place to dance in our seats while dining. Food was awesome, the queso fundido and spicy salsas were highlights for me. I would recommend the verde enchiladas. The bartender makes your drinks right next to your table - the mezcal / cucumber cocktail was great!

Great Food and very creative presentation. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because at night they dim the lights and it gets super dark hard to see what you are actually eating The waiter actually brought a flashlight so I could take a picture of the Guacamole with Chapulines.

Great vibe! We went for dinner on a Friday. It has a lounge-y feel, with good music and dim lighting. Service was top notch and the menu is extensive, with lots of options from tacos to grilled meats to seafood items.

This is one of best experiences I’ve. Definitely the best in Mexico City, by far. Start with the hot stone NY steak. Thank me later. I suggest the getting dessert too.

The music was too loud and they had large TV screens on, which distracted from the experience, though the rest of the decor was impressive. The meat dish I chose was good but too heavy. My partner had to ask for a glass of hot water 3 times before it was finally delivered. The waiters, though trying to be helpful, kept interrupting our conversation to check if everything was OK.

Visited as part of a team dinner. Location and ambience are top class. Menu had many varieties. Staff was helpful. As I don't eat meat, they suggested veg and fish dishes. The dessert items were also delicious. Overall, a nice place to visit with family or friends.

I loved everything about my experience here. The live DJ, the great customer service, the delicious dishes... everything was amazing. I had some of the best food I've ever had here! The ceviche was my favorite and I don't usually like ceviche lol

Amazing experience!!! Totally worth it! Exceptional service! Made margaritas for us at our table! The mule cocktail had a flaming lime! Our food came out super quick! We went around 6pm. All the food was VERY flavorful and amazing! Ambience and lighting was perfect- not too dark 😊 but relaxed feel

Porfirio's is a cool and happening spot. This restaurant has good music, drinks, and food. The variety of food is cool because of how every plate is presented. It's reasonable if you are not on a budget.

Across the street from Habita Hotel in Polanco, absolute gem of a place for either lunch or dinner. Amazing ambiance and service. Especially enjoyed the many dishes prepared table side. Menu in Spanish and English, with clearly marked dietary restrictions including a lovely vegetarian section for my wife. Fine dining perfect for a romantic date or business meeting. Expensive for the city but well worth the expense.

Great ambience and good food. Not a 5 star because I feel the same food at other restaurants was better (I ate the pichaña steak, meat quality was OK) Ice cream was too sweet. Overall had a good evening but won’t go out of my way for it

Lovely restaurant, great service and amazingly tasting food. I recommend everything on the menu. The guacamole dip is excellent 👌🏾. There is music playing lights are low and service is efficient. A must visit. My meal with start main and cocktail came in at mex$792.

Nice service, many options, the taco was great! The desserts are super cute and big, perfect to share. the drink was also delicious not too strong, the menu (usually I don’t like QR code ones) was super illustrative, some dishes with a tiny movie with the preparation , very helpful! Recommend the visit !

Gabriel Garcia is the name of a true VIP staff member. Great service and atmosphere, the food is just unbelievable good, you get a piece of true Mexican flavors. Ask for the Torta and the Churros as dessert. Pro tip: lunch time and the afternoon is perfect for an easy conversation-friendly background noise due to in the evening the sound gets louder

We were so excited for this restaurant. We had the pastor little truck, the grilled octopus & churros! The drinks we got were also delicious. Everything was delicious! The creativity in presentation is the cherry on top. I saw a lot of big parties so definitely recommend making a reservation!

We were a party of 7, celebrating a birthday, service was phenomenal. They were extremely attentive and friendly. We ordered a plethora of food. Each dish was delish. I recommend trying the grilled octopus and the ice cream cart.

All I can say is WOW. This place definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything looked and tasted amazing! The presentation was incredible, the atmosphere was welcoming, every single item I ordered was filled with flavor, on top of that I got dinner and a show. I spent my birthday here and it was definitely one for the books. If you're in Mexico City you have to visit this place. You won't regret it. It's worth every peso. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Pricey but guarantee of quality and taste, especially if you are into steak. The location offers a relaxed ambiance with bar vibe to inspire people to enjoy some drinks. I highly recommend filete al mezcal, it is a whole experience from preparation to taste. For more experiences like this follow @quiquinnv

Trendy modern Mexican restaurant. Overall food was delicious and with a good presentation. Ordered the esquites, which were pretty tasty and followed it up with the mixed ceviche -- refreshing, with a mix of shrimp, octopus, scallops, pineapple, orange, cucumber, and onion in a mango and chili pepper sauce. The check comes with a brown sugar cookie in the shape of a pig. Nice way to end a delicious meal. The ambiance is festive, with latest pop hits playing on a big screen.

This is a great place with some of the wonderful dishes but like a lot of places in Mexico it's missing a few things. Appetizers were amazing very rich very creative extremely delicious dishes. The main dishes unfortunately were a bit lacking in flavor, in style and sometime in freshness. Service was extremely good and overall I suggest visiting the place if you have a chance.

Two people can eat with all and dessert included for no more than $1500MXN. It is pricy but I would really recommend this to friends that visit Mexico City. Food is delicious (there are vegeterian options but no vegan options, maybe ask your waiter if saladas or dishes like Chile Relleno can be cooked vegan-friendly🙌), presentations are creative, and ambience is really good with Mexican music and live mariachis. It has an undergound parking lot (not sure if it is100% valet parking but they made us use the valet parking anyways haha) so you don't have to park your car outside in the street. Dish I would recommend: churros because they come with the whole experience of eating them from a churros cart😂.

Very nice. We went with a large group and the staff handled us well. Very responsive and professional. Presentation is important in this restaurant. The dishes looked and tasted great. Our party of 12 had no complaints. I tried the Chile en nogada- a seasonal dish. Muy Rico! The guacamole was good. I enjoyed the tuetanos de reys and escamoles. We finished with churros and carajillo.

Honestly one of the best experiences ever! The food was amazing, the service was THE BEST, the drinks were so so good! Beautiful restaurant too.

The Chile en Nogada Poblano was really good, the Nogada sauce has the authentic flavor and the portion was generous, and at $320MXN is also fairly well priced. The Chile en Nogada Porfirio’s was also good but not my favorite. Attention by the waiters was very professional as well.

All the good reviews that I have read about this property are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine

Definitely somewhat Americanized but still very good. Service was pretty slow, not sure why (it wasn't busy). But it's good food and good experience, I would love to come back. Had some creative drinks and a cool steak serving presentation. The Churros and dip were good and also very creative.

Ordered Grilled King Prawn ( which is one of the most expensive dishes on the menu). The prawns weren't fresh, it didn't taste fresh; meat fell apart into tiny pieces which stuck on the shell, because protein has broken down, another sign of it not being fresh. We raised this to the restaurant. The chef and maybe also the manager tried the prawns and insisted there is nothing wrong with it. We didn't want to make a fuss, paid the bills without a tip. Guess what, two of us had stomach pain and spent a lot of time in the loo after this dinner. Completely unprofessional, the chef and restaurant. If we can tell this is not fresh, the chef who orders the seafood in should definitely know they are not fresh. Extremely dangerous behaviour for a restaurant, this could seriously make someone ill. I have been to this restaurant only a couple of times. What I observe from my very limited experience is that the cheaper dishes are fresher than the more expensive dishes. For example, the most expensive cut of steak didn't quite taste that good, but a cheaper cut had more of a wow factor. My advice would be, don't order expensive dishes here, maybe because of low customer flow in more expensive dishes, the meat/seafood is simply not fresh.

Exquisite service in a fabulous restaurant. I recommend the tuna tostadas and the picaña. A lovely place for an evening in Mexico City.

The best thing about this place is the way they present their food. Very exotic and exciting.

😐 This place is huge, and there's always a waiting line to get in, the menu is small and straighforward, but it's totally worth eating there... I would just say there are too many tables per room, and sometimes the waiters are less than attentive becsuse of the amount of customers... still worth it.
