So sad. I have been coming to Cuernavaca every year for 30+ years. At first our favorite place was las mañanitas restaurant, then el Madrigal restaurant since it opened. I always looked forward to coming back. It’s a beautiful restaurant, service is good, great ambiance. However, in one year the food quality has deteriorated, and the prices have increased to the point of turning me off to return to this restaurant. I have recommended this restaurant to so many people from Dubai to USA. I truly hope that they find their way back to good quality of food and reasonable pricing as before. This restaurant has always been expensive but now it’s more expensive than fine food restaurants in Mexico City and Querétaro which I visited this recently.
