The food was really awesome especially the pakbet and bulalo. It was so good and sulit. They also have a mini stage with a hippie-themed stage to perform with.

For a relatively simple place, the ambiance is quite relaxing and cozy and the food is unbelievably delicious. They even have a small stage set up where local singers do gigs at night.

Dine in here twice already. The food, ambiance and comfort doesn't disappoint. Must visit and eat if you're going to San Marcelino!! Kudos to the owners and their staff! 💯

I am one the regular customer of black plate. The food was good and there service was good too. But lately the place was change, same price but the food quality was not good anymore also the service is being slow. Food now serve cold and in smaller portions. I hope it will back to what it used to be.

everything ab the place was good, literally been coming here w my parents since I was like 2. The only problem I had was the restaurant owner and worker were way louder than anyone else in the place, they were almost like yelling (they weren't fighting) at eachother the whole time I was there? I hope that next time this doesn't happen since it kinda ruined our experience

Dinner was nice as were serenaded by expert Band hired by the resto to play for guest. The food was good and good for group setting. 🥰 Will definitely come back 😄

food was good, delicious and appetizing enough for it's price they took too long to serve our food but still, worth the wait when tasted they have no proper parking for cars, we only left our van on the street side toilet was clean but lacks water at times (this can still be improved) it was warm inside but good on some part, i hope aircon can be improved too)

The AC wasn't working well when we visited. This can be improved or maybe need to add fans or something. Food was good, love the service and the look.

We had a bad experience. Though they advised that waiting is around 1hour, we waited for 1hr and almost 45mins, we had enough that we have to takeout the foods. To our further disappointment, the Kare-Kare valued at 280php (good for 2-3 persons according to them) doesn't taste like kare-kare at all and for small 3pcs of ox tail (fat part). The carbonara (classic), the egg was overcooked, made it taste more like an egg fried rice. Nevertheless, I am giving them 2stars because years ago this place used to serve better. Maybe it was just that time (I hope). I suggest you give it a try yourself, but for us, we had enough.
