Thanks Yuriy for a nice tour, we enjoyed a lot during 6+ hours we had before our connection in LAX. I liked much the videos during the trip and the interactions and walks on different POI and historic places. Yuriy was very knowledgeable and kind with us, I will definitely book again to visit other places when I have a chance.

We took the LA tour with Yuri last Tuesday April 23,2019. We were 10 people and we had a very comfortable van stocked with water for us. We were picked up very promptly at our hotel and we were given first class treatment. Yuri discussed everything we wanted to see and accommodated us completely. He gave us a thorough update on all things LA and California. He played games with us and made sure we got everything done! It was a fabulous day! I would also like to thank Galina for providing me with information about things to see and where to stay. This is a wonderful company and I highly recommend it.

We are “California Dreaming” as we look at the pictures our tremendous guide/driver Vlad took of us. We booked an LA tour especially designed for travelers with some layover time going from the cruise ship terminal at San Pedro to LAX. What we did and what we saw far exceeded our expectations. American Rivera Tours deserves 5 stars in our book. We made all arrangements via email with the courteous staff member Galina. This was very convenient; and we were able to relax and enjoy our time in LA. We were met by our driver/guide Vlad at the port who was a wonderful guide; he had lots of stories and facts to tell. The time just flew by. We made some stops-- valley overlooks to see the Hollywood sign, the Hollywood Bowl, and the LA skyline; a walk along Hollywood Blvd and Rodeo Dr including just the amount of shopping time that we wanted; lunch at the Farmers Market; a beautiful meditation garden in Santa Monica and then a drive along the Coast Highway before heading to the airport. At every stop Vlad knew the best places for taking photos and the best places to be photographed at. We visited typical places as it had been some time since we were in LA and we wanted to see how some places that we had known had changed. However, the company offers travelers the option of arranging visits to the places that best fit them--for example, kid-friendly locations for families. We highly recommend the services of American Riviera Tours to others who may be going through LA. And we hope that we’ll be in southern California again on holiday to use the company's services again; there is a lot yet to see.

Super tour from a super Tour Company: With a half day free between the end of our cruise and our return flight home from LAX, we looked for a tour company that could accommodate our specific set of requirements i.e. San Pedro port pick-up, luggage storage, whistle-stop tour of some specific sites and airport drop off. American Riveria Tours were the best to deal with by a mile. To start, Galina in reservations was most accommodating and wonderful in sorting out payment challenges we encountered. The entertaining Yuriy met us at the port and thereafter, we sat back and enjoyed seeing so much of the city. We were amazed at how much Yuriy squeezed into our 5-hour window and yet, we never felt rushed. Our adult and teen children in particular really enjoyed visiting Beverley Hills and Santa Monica beach. Favourites for me were driving down Rodeo drive and climbing the hills to get a good photo opportunity of the Hollywood sign. As we emerge from Covid restrictions, I hope that tourism picks up and that this wonderful company will continue to offer its personalised service to future visitors. Don’t go beyond them - good value, a unique experience and comfort all the way will be hard to beat!

Recently visited LA with my family. I am so happy to had Yuriy as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, knows so many things about LA and surrounding areas, in addition being extremely pleasant and friendly person. Our tour lasted for 5 hours and it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend

Yuriy was absolutely fantastic! He took such great care of us helping with my daughter’s wheelchair and making sure everything was accessible! We saw some amazing Hollywood sites and Yuriy took fantastic pictures! Would definitely recommend especially if you use a wheelchair.

We had an extra day in LA before our cruise and were shopping for a tour. Yuriy said he would offer a customized tour for us. He drove my wife and me around in a very comfortable van, showed us everything we wanted to see, and it cost about the same as a bus tour. I think the tour business has been hit hard in LA but he is doing what he can to keep it working. He is a professional...shows you what you want to see, narrates the tour, stops when and where you want, and makes sure that you are comfortable along the way.
