Greedy and rude As one of the few fortunate enough to not be financially impacted by the pandemic, I try to funnel any of my purchases through our local businesses to help support the community. I know that it will cost me slightly more than I could easily find online or outside of Bakersfield, and I can live with that, especially in times like these. However, this store has been a rip-off before the pandemic and continues to be so during. As an authorized dealer of particular brands, they get substantial discounts on products and funnel none of those savings to their customers. Instead, they charge more than what you can purchase the item from the manufacturer directly. When working with authorized dealers other than this store, I can easily get ~22% discount from MSRP on this brand. I was not expecting Roger's to do this, but I know I can get this deal. The item I was looking to purchase was a few hundred, not few thousand, so I was willing to pay MSRP but was hoping for below. However, this store offered me a price higher than MSRP even after I had already told them I called the manufacturer before coming in, so I know what I would pay if ordering directly. I responded by thanking them for their time, but I would be purchasing direct. Before I could even finish my sentence, the sales representative had already turned around and walked off. The store was empty, so there was no other person that they needed to rush to assist. This was my second attempt at trying to offer my business to them. Last year when interested in an item of much higher value, I asked Roger's to match a deal another Authorized dealer has presented to keep my business local. They weren't willing to do so. So, I bought the item at the discounted 22% mentioned earlier from another store and went on my way. Anyone shopping here is clearly getting ripped off.

Rogers Jewelry is the best jewelry store in Bakersfield in my opinion. Their team is very friendly and always helped me find the perfect jewelry I was looking for. In my experience Eason has helped my 2 brothers, Mother, and now me find wedding rings and other jewelry we’ve purchased. They treat you with respect and make you feel comfortable. The reason why I put four stars is because the engraving was taken off of my ring when they sautered my rings. They fixed the issue no problem though and engraved it again for free. Also, I think the business would be more efficient if they had an engraving machine at their store. It took at least two weeks to get my ring back. Overall, great experience.

Went in to pick out an engagement ring for my fiancé around October 2022, this was my 3rd visit as I always shop around and look at all my options before buying. First couple of visits were great and the young ladies that helped were very attentive that I purchased my engagement ring here. However, on this particular visit i went in to purchase the WEDDING ring and a young man was assisting but kept trying to up sell and was not listening to what we wanted; my fiancée didn’t want anything extravagant at all, and we kept describing that we wanted but only got more frustrated as we were there. We were told that they couldn’t Certify the ring that we wanted because it was too small and then the young man said he would inquire and call us back on the certification and quote for other rings because he couldn’t give us a quote on the spot. We’ll, he never called back on any of our requests, no communication whatsoever. So we decided to take our business elsewhere and the other business was able to certify the ring size that we wanted and customized to our liking.

As soon as I walked into Rogers Jewelers I was welcomed and it continues from there everyone was very personable and I've always felt I can trust my jewelry with them. It was a week before Chrismas and I needed to add links to a bracelet and once they were all said and done they didn't even charge me, and I brought the bracelet with me it wasn't there product. We originally purchased our weddings rings from Roger's Jewelry around 15 years ago! One of the prongs recently broke on the center diamond and called Rogers asking for help. My family has been coming to Roger’s for decades. I recently brought in a ring I had purchased on a cruise to be fixed and they did an amazing job, as always. They replaced some missing diamonds, secured the rest, and got this baby shining better than the day I bought it. For new jewelry, custom jewelry, repairs, Roger’s is the best!!!!

I have purchased 2 rings from Rogers, my husbands wedding ring as well as mine. We paid their asking price for both no haggling or negotiation. Within one month I started having issues with my ring losing stones I have taken my ring in at least 3 times in less than 1 year due to missing or loose stones. My most experience I took my ring in for inspection as well as a missing stone. I go in to pick it up and low and behold the stone was still missing…. I pointed it out and they fixed it same day? But the fact there was supposed be an inspection performed and the main point of the visit was the missing stone and they somehow still missed it is beyond me. Pretty disappointing to spend as much as we did on a ring then have nothing but issues with said ring. This is nothing against my sales person she was amazing, but more the quality of the ring and quality of the jewelers working there performing inspections…

I lost my wedding ring about four years ago. It originally was made by Rogers years ago. It broke my heart because it was a family ring. We talked to Josh about three years ago inquiring if they could remake the ring. Josh looked into it and did all the legwork and kept in contact with me about it. We weren't able to buy it at that time so I had to wait. Recently we went back to Rogers and Courtney helped us remake the ring finally. She was so great and even had them rush it for me. Two weeks later I have my dream ring back. Both Josh and Courtney were such a pleasure to work with. They are very friendly and really seemed to care about my personal story. We purchased my wedding band at Luna Skye back In Nov 2019 and it stayed in its box until September 2020 (my wedding). Within three weeks the ring broke. I reached out to Luna Skye and they never responded. We decided to go to Rogers to see if they could fix it. Josh helped us out and they had it fixed within a few days. The customer service here is second to none. Please support this fantastic business!

I had an excellent buying experience with Eason. He worked with my budget and was very helpful in helping me select a ring. Since purchasing the ring, I have come in a couple times to switch to a different size (tungsten can’t be resized), they are always very helpful and friendly. There is always someone there to help me right as I walk in the door. Great selection and great service. Update: It has been 4 years now since my first visit and now this is the only jeweler I come to. I recently bought an engagement ring for my now fiancé with the help of Courtney. I showed her some pictures of rings that were the style my fiancé likes and she helped me find the “perfect” ring, according to my fiancé. Definitely check this place out!
