A must if you are in the Manta area. Carlos did an excellent job along with our driver Juan from Manta with Juan Tour Agency. About a 2 hour tour with lots to see and a wealth of information. Bring very comfortable shoe (hiking if you have them), water and insecticide.

Sometimes steep and slippery path. Sadly saw no howler monkeys, but heard them

It was beautiful! You need to call in advance to make sure they are open because you need to have a guide. You need to ask for one that speaks English. It was maybe a 45 min walk through a small jungle. We saw variety of old trees, tarantulas, other spiders and only one monkey. I would definitely recommend it and we tipped the guide at the end.

Walk down the valley and then back up with taxi car which is really easy. Need to have a guide which is really knowledgeable. There are monkeys 🐒 as that is what we were looking for. Nice place to go not something to not miss.

We had an excellent guide, and we were lucky in seeing howler monkeys in the trees above us, and many types of plant life around us. We also saw a tarantula which was creepy cool

Pacoche's forest is an amazing place if you want to take a rest from the city. This place is a natural reserve where you will go down a path with a guide while you can enjoy the massive diversity of animals and plants. You have to be sure to bring with you plenty water and food through all the trip. Be careful with the animals and the sandy terrain, also in some of the path parts could be slippery.

Great place to visit the wonders of nature. Carlos practiced his English with us and explained the various animals, including the howler monkey. Bring hiking shoes cause your feet are going to hurt and get wet. Walking during streams was a bit tricky. I don’t recommend elderly who can’t walk the trail. I left my mom at the restaurant next door, while we went to the tour.

👍👍 Great to take a walk and watch the ocean and how it crash with the rocks. Then the view is great you are super high and you can see animal very closely. Down the lighthouse there is a beach who protects turtle eggs. Great place to go with your family and relax with a long walk
