Great views over the Bay of Santa Marta. Eat good. Prices a little higher, but appropriate for the great location. You go up in the elevator.

Several dishes were unavailable from the menu and were not mentioned until we tried to order them, despite our waitress having stood there watching us debate those options. The food was Luke warm when it arrived and was not as either described on the menu or shown in the images on Google. For example, the pulpo was unavailable and the lobster wrapped in bacon was served with cold mash and 2 tiny pieces of bacon. Overall the experience was dissapointing, it seems all the restaurant really has to offer is the view of the sunset.

I was in Santa Marta relaxing on the rooftop of boutique hotel Don pepe when I spotted a restaurant called la primera. I had to explore and check it out. We and enjoyed drinks, delicious food, and amazing views. Service was great I would definitely recommend.

The waiter did not seem very happy. The food was very good and for a decent price 40$ CAD for two. Beautiful view from the rooftop of the building.

We just stopped by for a couple beers and to check the view out, but the service is great! We are coming over for the food next time and probably will update the review.
