I am staying at the AC Marriott which is very close to the restaurant. I was in the mood for something different than patacón and arroz de coco so I decided to try this spot. I ordered something basic and uncomplicated. Pene with salsa boloñesa. The dish they brought me was not hot so I had to ask them to heat the food. The bread that comes with the food is very basic, not garlic or heated and they don’t provide butter or olive oil. My food came back hot. To their credit, the food comes with a good amount of Parmesan cheese. I had no napkins so I had to ask them to bring me some napkins. I was drinking a cherry lemonade that was pretty good. The food was OK. Overpriced and nothing special. I won’t go back, as there are numerous other options in Santa Marta. The ambiance is nice and the service was ok. I could make better tasting pasta at home.

I have been to this establishment several times with family and clients. It’s my favorite place - always great service with excellent food. They are consistent with quality and the servers are professional. However tonight we were turned away. The restaurant has never asked for proof of COVID vaccine - not even the Sunday before tonight. While we are all vaccinated, my partner didn’t bring her phone to show proof. I explained to the security guard that we frequent this establishment, and that in fact she has the same vaccine status. While we discussed this, other patrons were allowed in without any proof. I would give this restaurant 1 star because of this experience but I will be generous and provide 3 for all the good times I have had there. I will no longer come here or bring clients to experience the cuisine.

Setting is very nice and service attentive. Plates came out lukewarm. I feel they were quite bland, lacking seasoning and flavour. For 60k a main I expected more.

Starters were good and on point. Mains lacked flavor and was disappointing after a good start. Service was ok.

The mushroom with garlic starter had way too much pepper. I was coughing from the black peppers. The pasta sauce was greasy and the spinach was over cooked. The bread was stale. Overall the ingredients were not good, yet the price was very expensive. Service was slow too, we asked for the bill and had to wait a long time for it. My stomach did not feel good after the meal. We should have just stayed and had dinner at the hotel, even the hotel food was much better.
