Fantastic burgers. Very juicy and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the classic burger and the Portos burger. The fries are wedges and were really hot. The bread is very fresh and white. Nice vibe and good prices. Downfall? I don't think the service was the greatest. The waitress forgot half of our order and the food came in 45 minutes after we ordered. (But the place wasn't full)

We had the Portho Burger. Food was good, but the burgers could be improved by a better choice of bun. Prices were reasonable, beers were fine and service was okay.

Really good place with cozy atmosphere and good and tasty food. We ate here 2 times. Good prices. Meat was perfectly prepared just as we wanted. Stuff polite. Before you enter you need to show your COVID certificate. Tip: make a reservation because this place is always full.

Not really sure how this place has ended up with 4.7 rating. Service is just as average as in most of places in Colombia. Environment will cover the needs of anyone from the range of Barcelona fans to the Beatles lovers. And for those who say that this is the best burger they have eaten, it would be if its the first one in their life. The bun is taken from the oven before it even gets there, the meat just smells off and the decent burger I had was one that had pulled pork in it.

The service was fine but the food was terrible. I had costillas(ribs). They were tough and no flavor. It seemed like they were reheated. I'm not sure how old they were because i was sick for 2 days after i ate here. My friend ordered what looked like a New York strip but was tough as a chuck steak. She sent it back and got take out after being disappointed. We thought this was going to be a great place after reading the reviews.

The steak lacked any signs of searing or browning, and the vibrant pink color was an indication that it had not been cooked properly. It was evident that the chef had not paid attention to the cooking process, resulting in a lackluster appearance. Upon cutting into the steak, it became apparent that the problem extended beyond just its appearance. The meat was practically raw throughout, with a cool and almost gelatinous texture. This made it extremely difficult to chew, and the flavors were underdeveloped due to the lack of proper cooking techniques. It was clear that the kitchen had failed to execute even the most basic cooking instructions. Furthermore, the service at the restaurant was subpar. When I raised my concerns about the uncooked steak, the staff seemed indifferent and unapologetic. They offered no solution or alternative, leaving me dissatisfied and questioning their commitment to customer satisfaction. In conclusion, my experience with the uncooked steak at this restaurant was highly disappointing. From the lackluster presentation to the undercooked meat and absence of seasoning, it was evident that the kitchen had failed to deliver a properly cooked dish. Combined with the subpar service, I cannot recommend this establishment to fellow diners seeking a quality dining experience.

We had cocktails and burgers here. We love the vibe and music tributes cool atmosphere. Everyone really enjoyed their food and recommended the chicken burger and steak. We had some fancy cocktails that really went above and beyond with smoking garnishes and beautiful presentation.

Update: on sep2023 we had the veggie burger, and the smokey burguer. Nice texture and flavours. Serving size was kind of small for the price. Other than that, our lunch was really good. Came for steak but we ended up having burgers. Cocoblue burger has a flavor I never expected and never tried before. Delicious... Blue cheese strong flavor combined with sweet titote and crispy bacon explodes in your mouth. Portobello burger is good as well. Will return, for the cocoblue for sure!

Had the goucha steak sandwich and it was excellent. Really fresh bread, yummy fries and the steak was tender. Had a delicious Pina colada here too. Great menu and good selection of cocktails. Staff very attentive. Thanks!

The chorizo was good, also if the portion was quite small. The meat was rare, but I’ve asked for medium one and anyway it was full of nerves. The cut wasn't the best. The service is good and the guys are really nice. Too expensive for what you get.

Delicious double burger cooked medium to perfection. We ate here 2 times for dinner, it was close to our hotel in the square and convenient to walk to. The meat flavour was rich and moist. We highly recommend their beef burgers. Great, friendly and fast service.

We were seated and shown he QR code for the menu. We looked over the menu for about 5 minutes and waited for someone to take our order. We waited another 10 minutes before we decided to leave. We counted at least 8 staff on the floor, several of whom walked by our table but none stopped to ask if we were ready to order. We were there at 18:30 and there were only two other tables with people. If I was the owner/manager I’d be quite annoyed that I was paying so many wages and delivering such little service and watching money walk out the door. The only attention we received was from the employee at the door who opened it to let us leave…went to Ouzo and had a very nice meal

So as I live in Medellin (10 years) and frequently visit the coastal cities in Colombia including many visits to Santa Marta every year, not to be overshadowed by my 34 years of exploring everywhere in Colombia I must say that all of my meals at Porthos Steakhouse have been good to great over the past 5 years. Such was my meal on Saturday night, was warmly welcomed at the door, very attentive service at the bar then my table, my baby beef steak was cooked/prepared exactly to my request, great atmosphere, good music but not too loud, and a nice smile and thanks for visiting us come back again. Absolutely no complaints. Great selection of beers too! The renovation that was being done in my last visit to Santa Marta earlier this year has really made this a great place to enjoy an occasion with family and friends, so good job on the renovation of the restaurant. I without hesitation will return! Love Santa Marta and Porthos Steakhouse!

Food was good. Chorripan, and empanaditas to start. The empanadas were so good I grabbed a 2nd order. Then I got a Chipotle burger and my lady got the chicken ceaser. Both were solid. No complaints. Would come back. Service was impeccable tho. I'd go back for that alone. Thanks guys

Good find; serves food until late. A wide selection of good and drinks on the menu. Lovely atmosphere. The staff are pleasant, but could be more knowledgeable about the menu items. There was also seemed to be a lack of communication or understanding of how/when to bring starters, drinks, and main course.

I've ordered the ribs and WOW!!! It was super delicious. Portion was more than enough I'd say. The meat was very soft, not chewy at all. Barbecue sauce very good. It came with an awesome side garlic sauce and fries. Worth the price. My friend ordered grilled chicken breast that was listed in the always lunch menu, it came with roasted potatoes and it was also fantastic! Each dish was well presented. I recommend this place.

Didn’t like it. Steak was very hard to bite. My girlfriend couldn’t eat her steak either. And I had to order a second portion of fries as the portion was small. Not worth the money.

By my opinion, this place is the best one for having a lunch or dinner in Santa Marta. It is thematically western-music rock and pop mostly, so you can expect good burgers and texmex cuisine with everything what you love. The place is fully air conditioned so at some point it could feel chilly, but you can always ask for a different table. Unless the restaurant is full, almost every evening. Colombians are going here as well, that good is this place.

I love this place, it has a great food and great atmosphere highly recommended. Also don't miss their beers and hamburger. Whatever you order there is gonna be great! You can also find this place in other cities like Barranquilla and Cartagena.

The restaurant is a lot like hard rock Cafe. There is a lot of cool rock and rool decorations. The burger is one of the best you can get in Manizales. And also you can beer in 1 liters. Which is not comman at all in Colombia. Definitely worth stopping by if you are looking for a really good burger

I’ve had one really good steak here, 1 really bad steak that was super chewy despite being medium rare, and 1 below average burger. I would say if you get the right steak, it can be quite good, but definitely stay away from the burgers.

We love Porthos. We went back twice during our stay because it is delicious. The ribs are fantastic and huge for the price.

They served raw meat to me and my wife. Also uncooked fries. When i presented food to waiter when we had to pay, they said they cant do anything about it and charged us for whole meal. Do not reccomend this place for tourists at all!

Great spot in Parque de Los Novois. Watch Super Bowl LVI here as it was shown with sound. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Porthos burger. Was quite filling amd tasty. My wife had a chicken burger and also enjoyed it. We sat upstairs, but I think if you are traveling solo and want a spot at the bar, check this place out.

Unfortunately, despite their advertised hours that they open at 12, when we arrived at 1345 (after travelling far to try them for a special Birthday), they were still closed and cleaning up to open when they felt like it ...on a Sunday! I do wish they could keep customers updated in their opening times or tonopen according to what is advertised. . They need to understand that customer service starts before one arrives and is not just food. I suggest you always try and message them beforehand as to not be disappointed
