This is a hidden treasure. The chef/owner truly loves what he is doing which is to create a fusion between the traditional colonial Spanish cuisine and the indigenous. And he has succeeded! The food was well prepared with a healthy mix of fresh garden vegetables (for some reason rarer than it should be in Colombia) , European quality sauces and an excellent attention to presentation. The service was excellent.

Very good and tasty Colombian Caribbean food. The chef’s suggestions are highly recommended. The restaurant has a nice vintage decoration. There’s a poor selection of wines, however. My partner didn’t feel safe as we are in the middle of a pandemic and all costumers were walking around without face masks. So the pandemic protocol wasn’t strict enough.

Located in the Old Town of Santa Marta this place has an eclectic decor with a retro twist. The food is Caribbean style with something for most pallets. I had the Nero on seafood with basil puree which was delicious and very well presented. Other dishes were also packed with flavour and good presentation. Service was also very good. Prices are on the higher side of the spectrum but reasonable.

Fantastic! Every course was a delight. A novel mix of traditional and modern cuisine in a stunning setting. Not cheap by Colombian standards but well worth the money. Expect to pay $25-30 per person. Highly recommend

Great place to eat. A bit disapointed with the salad I ordered.

The food presentation was very good they get a 5 stars. One of our appetizer was cold inside. My Robalo fish was very dense not flaky, also the octopus was hard. For a restaurant in this category they used paper napkins. This means they are not willing go the exact mile to make the guest have a great experience. We were the only one in the restaurant at that moment and the attention to service wasn’t that great. We ask for water and haId to request it twice after waiting. There are must better restaurants in Santa Marta if you are some that travel the world and eat at different restaurant and would like to have a great experience out with friends or family I would recommend Basilea.

🫤 Overhyped. The morrillo was dry and the margarita pizza was average. Just a reminder you did not come to Santa Marta for the food.

👍 Another hostel guest and I came here for dinner as she recommended it. The customer service and ambiance is nice. It’s not a big space inside but they do have outdoor seating. It took a little while for the drink and food but maybe it’s just how the Colombian culture is. The waiters were accommodati...

👍 A lovely place close to the marina with a great view. Went on a Tuesday night for a beer and decided to stay for a meal because of the atmosphere. Good music playing and not abnoxiously loud like a lot of places here in Colombia. The burgers were out promptly and were about what you would expect for...
