The aquarium is very nice, full of interesting fish to see. They have high school students as tour guides, and while that's nice, they do the tour very fast, they don't give you time to actually look at things or take good pictures. Some days you can see the feeding of sharks and stingrays ~ The entrance is very cheap too.

I wish there are zero stars for this place. This is the worse place anyone can go or take their families their. You are literally killing animals for money. Kshamenk is been sick for years and no one even cares to do something. There are videos of poor Kashamenk not moving for more 30 minutes, and these videos were taken on Sep 28th 2023. Please, if you are reading this help us to rescue these poor animals and stop the grid of those people. Kshamenk has to be helped immediately 🙏🏼

Pretty decent collection of sharks, turtles, sea fish, sea stars and local collection. They have beach cleaning days, conservation programs and feeding shows too. It's not expensive and worth the small fee to support the programs.

My daughter is in love with sea turtles and we actually got to see baby sea turtles up close. The guide was so knowledgeable about the Marine life. The blowfish were ADORABLE and there was a cool map display as well! Informative and fun!

Nice place to visit with the family. It is a really small aquarium. Don't expect to see a fancy one.

Not the biggest aquarium but worth a visit... very nice and gentle guides

I didn't like having to have a guide. I felt very rushed. Probably would be 4 stars if I could just go through at my own pace. A bit overpriced, too.

Great place to bring kids. Excellent guide. At first, the logistics seemed a mess (we had to wait for our number to be called in a rather uncomfortable waiting room), but then we understood there was a good reason: the first part of the aquarium is a little tight to allow people to move without organization

What a unique experience to learn about marine life and take pictures of the animals that the acuarium is saving and helping recover before releasing again to their habitats

The smallest and emptiest aquarium I’ve ever been to. A few nice fishes and crustaceans but not worth the price. Wasted my time there and then was too late to visit the other Rodadero aquarium which I hope is better.

Awesome collector of Caribbean sea creatures. It is a must in Santa Marta.

Small. Fairly cheap. The guide will walk you through the different types of fish there (Spanish only). At the end, you go outside and there are 2 pelicans. One is caged and the other walks around like he owns the place.

It doesn't have too much to see. Some information provided by the tour guide was not true. I happened to know the correct information because I'm a marine biologist!

A fun and wonderful aquarium. They do a great job with the sea life they showcase: octopus, sea horses, shark, turtles and a nice variety of fish and anemones. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and very inexpensive. Friendly staff. I liked it much more than the aquarium in Medellin.
