Tourist attraction Nature preserve

👍 Taganga is a magical dump, where its uncivilized people mix with all the magical realism of its beaches, where you can die at any moment by the hands of a barbarian or find the love of your life. People often mention beach,

Great beach to start your trip with boat to Tyrona national park! Prices around 75000cop for the return ticket! Also amazing for watching sunsets with a cold mojito in your hand! Close to shops, atm and bars

The bay is quite nice but the beach itself is not " caraibian standard"

Beautiful, calm waters. Lots of dogs. Nice bars. Several boats. Can rent paddleboards.

Probably the most beautiful beach in Santa Marta, incredible views and a stunning sunset! The restaurant provides fresh fish dishes to die for, each fish is bigger than the plate. I strongly recommend the Cazuela de Mariscos! For anyone using public transport, travelling in and out of this place is a nightmare! The beach can also get extremely overcrowded and dirty.

I love this dirty little town so much, that I'm changing my three month trip to be here longer. Freshest fish, decent restaurants, plenty to see and do if you want to live a slower pace.

Amazing experience, loved the environment and everyone is so nice. The beach is clean and the local restaurants are so good. I have nothing bad to say to about the place at all. My Father and I were able to spend some quality time together here before he passed and it will always be a very special place to me

A very authentic experience. Taganga is more of a destination for locals which is great because you get a more authentic experience (vs Santa Marta). You'll still get bombarded with street vendors but you just have to learn to kindly ignore. Out of Taganga I was able to negotiate a rt boat ride to another beach about 20 min boat ride at 25,000 pesos roughly $6-7 USD. Overall a wonderful experience.
