We stayed here twice within a short period of time and we loved it otherwise we would not have come back. Amazing staff :) Plenty of toilets and good showers. Nice pool and nice rooftop bar and the beds were comfortable. True - it gets very hot in the rooms without a/c but since that was the only minus we did not care.

I came here just at the end of a long sickness. The hostel atmosphere instantly made me feel happy and at home. It's really relaxed, the staff are lovely and the whole place has a nice feel. I met several people staying there for a month which I think says a lot. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and you get a lot of space, it feels nice and private. Great location. I was happy with all the facilities and the price for Santa Marta was good. I would stay here again any time I am in Santa Marta.

Excellent hostel in downtown Santa Marta. We had shopped around a bit and stopped looking when we found La Sierra. It’s a cozy hostel with lovely rooftop. The pool is clean. The breakfast is DIY, but they supply you with plenty of options.

I got here for just a short while but this place is amazing for the price. Big showers big beds and I fantastic rooftop area that I think is supposed to have a bar sometimes but I only got here, lock my stuff up, went off on adventures and then passed out before heading out on a trek. I'll def rebook when I come back to Santa Marta

The hostel is super well located, near nice cafes and restaurants. The public market, which is where you would like to go to get to Minca and the beaches up north, is just 10 minutes away by foot. The little pool right in the middle of the place and a nice terrace give the hostel a special touch. One thing only: the kitchen could've been a little tidier.

I enjoyed this hostel very much. The staff are nice and helpful, security is good, but depending on which room and which bed you get you may not have A/C and the one fan for the whole room may not reach your bed.

This hostel has very unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Their advertisements have been misleading, and are different in their multiple mediums. I would not recommend someone stay here if they expect a professional and comfortable stay. Very poor service.

Great hostel. Beds, rooms, kitchen and bathroom areas were very clean. Beds were comfortable and big. Friendly service. The atmosphere is nice.

A very nice hostal, beds are separate most of the rooms but very comfortable. I really thought having a pool in the middle was really cool. Very recommended!
