We are very grateful to have met this lovely and generous family. They welcomed us every day with coffe and always helped us with any issues we had. We just wanted to stay for 2 days but ended up returning after every short travel we had withing the country. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well-maintained and the AC worked perfectly. All in all, we hope to come back some time and we clearly recommend the hostel to others, especially if you like to get in touch with lovely locals.

I stayed at Turispanish for 20 days. It's my favorite place in St Marta. I've found the center crowded, noisy, and overpriced. This hostel is in a cleaner and quieter neighborhood, 15 minutes walking time from center. Ruben (the owner) is a friendly host -- and an English teacher!

A lovely hostel. Quiet and with good internet. The couple running this place are the most wonderful people you will meet. The gentleman speaks fluent English. They have amazing staff who are friendly and helpful. It felt more like home. Parking available inside for only two motorcycles. No space for more.

Awesome place to stay. Couldn’t recommend more. Ruben is fantastic and is a great host. He will go above and beyond to make sure you taken care of. He speaks perfect English and Spanish. Great location and quiet.

Great hosts and super stay, it is a family hostel so if you want a party hostel this is not your place but if you want genuine Colombian hospitality at a good price it is the place you are looking for in Santa Marta!

Es como estar en casa, la atención del anfitrión es excelente, la limpieza y acomodación es precisa si busca un lugar tranquilo. Si contratas el servicio de comidas la sazón es sin igual. Además queda equidistante de los lugares a visitar y se encuentra fácil transporte, tiendas y supermercados. Claro que volvería.

Sitio sencillo pero cómodo, con aire, wifi y desayuno. El agua es tibia, no la hay caliente pero no hace falta. El trato de Rubén excelente. Repetiría!
