This
place
is
simply
incredible.
I
don't
have
words
to
describe
the
way
I
felt
over
here.
I
traveled
Colombia
for
one
month
and
this
is
the
place
I
remember
more
fondly.
First,
there
is
the
place.
It
is
in
the
middle
of
the
forest,
just
enough
distant
from
the
road
not
to
hear
the
cars
much
but
still
pretty
easy
to
reach.
It
overlooks
a
wonderful
green
valley
that
declines
towards
Santa
Marta,
which
you
can
see
glittering
in
the
distance
at
night.
You
can
reach
Minca
following
a
nice
~20min
walk
in
the
woods).
The
people:
well,
they
are
the
best.
They
built
this
place
following
the
rules
of
the
indigenous
population,
and
befriended
them
in
the
process
(and
you
might
be
lucky
enough
to
see
two
of
them
around
there,
chatting
and
joking
with
the
owners
or
lighting
up
a
fire
and
sitting
beside
it
in
silence
in
the
night
-
no
jokes).
The
people,
I
was
saying,
are
the
perfect
match:
that
green--and
spiritual-sided
mentality
(yoga,
vegan
cuisine,
back
to
being
in
contact
with
the
earth...)
but
no
worries,
you
won't
ever
feel
uncomfortable
if
you're
not
much
into
this
stuff,
believe
me.
The
rooms:
again,
these
reflect
the
owners'
mindset
and
the
way
they
decided
to
build
this
place.
You
won't
find
a
completely
smooth
surface
or
a
piece
of
wall
identical
to
another.
The
cabin
I
was
in
was
the
single,
secluded
one,
and
it
was
incredible.
Just
a
hut
made
of
clay
walls
and
palm
roof,
with
a
super
comfortable
bed
in
the
middle.
No
storage
space
(but
who
needs
it?
)
and
no
reading
light
on
the
bed
(well,
I
used
the
phone,
or
just
listened
to
the
forest),
but
the
best
view
I
could
ever
hope
to
see
from
my
bed.
No
glass
panel
(who
needs
it?
It's
always
warm),
just
the
mosquito
net.
Oh,
and
the
restrooms...
Here
everything
is
organic...and
the
view!
See
below!
There
is
also
a
small
restaurant
to
have
breakfast
and
dinner.
I
loved
the
Bolas
de
yuca
and
the
mixed
salad,
delicious!!!
Honestly,
this
is
the
place
closest
to
heaven
I've
ever
been
to.
